"Location fantastica, arredata con estremo gusto e tutto curato nei minimi particolari. La camera molto bella ed accogliente, con tante accortezze per gli ospiti. Le signore che ci hanno accolto sono state molto cordiali e disponibili. Tutto eccellente."

"1) The front desk guy during the evening (or maybe night) shift has very little service mind. Had to wait almost 10 mins for the guest in front of me to check in (too much chitchatting). And another 10 mins for me to check in. When I asked for the glass of ice, he said that I cannot take the glass from the bar back to room because of the (weird) policy. 2) Hotel has no AC during our visit (27-29 May). The weather was very hot (35C during the day and 25C at night), yet hotel still not activate the AC. I was told to buy the fan from Auchan to use in the room instead but it’s closed already and cannot borrow from the hotel. So the 1st night I had to sleep without the fan. The next day I bought the fan and it helpd me to get a good sleep. 3) No amentity in the room. Only towels and shower gel. 4) However, the manager during the morning shift is very good service mind!! The good thing is that the location is near Auchan, Decathlon and Komatsu (buffet japanese restaurant). They are all in 5 mins walk from the hotel."

"Service: Extremely attentive. Perhaps because there weren't many Asians or because my name is unusual in English, the staff greeted me by name the next morning at breakfast. Facilities: Basically adequate, quite acceptable for a 200-year-old building undergoing renovation, though not comparable to modern 5-star facilities. Environment: It felt like living in a palace, with gardens to explore freely and magnificent public areas. While you'd normally visit a palace and only have to follow a route, here you could explore and go anywhere."

"It is living in a vineyard. Very relaxing and nice. About 5km from city centre and yet one can have the peace and quietness of a vineyard stay, in a well built accommodation. We enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast is decent."

"A family resort full of kids, probably suitable for their needs, not ours, unfortunately. Not really the best experience for a couple trying to enjoy their stay. Both inside and outside pool full of children, ended up not swimming at all. There was only a buffet dinner available at the restaurant or some small snacks at the bar. We paid 15eur each for a ”caesar” salad, with the ingredients: lettuce, bread crutons, some burned bacon, chicken resembling a prebaked chicken from Lidl unfrosted from the freezer, and caesar sauce. Breakfast had some more choices, and gladly some fresh fruits, but no fresh juices like in all other hotels during our stay in Portugal, only the cheapest orange juice you can probably get. Even though the staff was very nice, the resort is quite run down looking and rooms very basic. Probably an ok stay for a family with smaller kids, couples try somewhere else."

"The hotel’s breakfast is very rich and the service is very warm. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just opposite the Sintra Palace, there are many restaurants nearby, and the Sintra Railway Station is not far away. The room is not big, but very modern"

So I have been brushing the news comfortably in the room, and finally opened the scenic spot in the afternoon. When the rain stopped, I rushed to the Pena Palace! The next day the weather finally cleared, and it was easy to walk directly to the Regalera Palace. And the name of the room I lived in was the same as my English name, and it was too honorable! Worthy of being a five-star hotel! The hotel was built in 1764 and is very historical, but it is well maintained everywhere, will not have a sense of oldness, and it is very comfortable to live in. Breakfast can be picked up except bread, toast, pastries, juice, milk, water, etc., the rest are made now, a lot of excitement, the waiter still maintains a very friendly attitude, help me to have a whole table of meals, although I eat very full, But I still have the responsibility to eat all the meals, the taste is also very good! What surprised me even more was that the jam with bread turned out to be directly for the mini jar, and it was self-pick, really big. The point is that the special price is super close to the people, and there is no need to carry blood with the poaching. It's just that the weather in the Portuguese mountains in winter is really not good, and you need to be mentally prepared.
