Hotel Cir

This hotel is a converted refuge at the top of the Passo Gardena so at 2,200m in a breathtaking location looking down on the amazing Dolomite mountains. The decor is lovely, with plenty of space in the communal areas. Rooms are essential with a modern decor, comfortable and a sufficient size. Everywhere is scrupulously clean. Food is in general good and the breakfast offers a large choice, including several homemade cakes or tarts. However it gets better - the staff is fantastic. They are genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay and are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment is always organized (clearly you can drive down to the nearest town down the hairpin bends...). And of course there is Christian who runs the whole show - always ready to help and who takes people every week day on ski tours. All in all a winning combination. Considering it all, the price/ quality is excellent. No wellness centre but then here the focus is relaxing in a sociable context (all staff are multi-lingual), skiing or walking(summer) and enjoying the glorious views. Really enjoyed our stay - we felt like family.
Linder Cycling Hotel

Apart from our initial interaction with the member of staff on reception, we would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this hotel. The staff on reception really could have been more welcoming, but the staff in other areas of the hotel were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Everywhere was spotless. Our room (201) with sauna and large balcony was spacious, very well equipped, with a huge bathroom and brilliant shower, and we could not fault anything. The bar and restaurant areas were beautiful and it was a real pleasure having breakfast in the fully glazed restaurant, with views out to the terraces and beyond. Staff, especially Sam and Daniel, were attentive and exemplary with the service. Food was amazing and wines delightful. The lounge area could have been better equipped with comfortable settees, but the swimming pool, relaxation room and sauna on the top floor of the hotel were stunning and hugely recommended, as well as the sun terrace on the roof, with 360 views of the beautiful valley. Parking was limited outside, and the underground car park proved a challenge for our low sports car. However, the staff immediately responded to our request to park at the side of the hotel, so this wasn't a problem. There are numerous excellent coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, as well as shops, the best Spar we have ever visited and the cable car up to amazing views, walks/hikes etc, a three minute walk away. Fabulous hotel, awesome amenities, brilliant location for touring nearby passes and amazing value for money. Why this is only a 3*hotel we cannot understand. It should easily be a 4* if not a 5* and have no hesitation in recommending it unreservedly. Probably not for children, but young and old people alike will, we're certain, enjoy their stay here. Wonderful!!
Hotel Continental Dolomites

We stayed a week at the hotel and are blown away from its service and quality. We received a large room with a sleeping sofa for our teenager which was of good quality. The room is spacious and it never got too crowded to stay 3 there. The family is extremely knowledgeable about the area and what is worth looking at. The cleaning is great and the same applies for the service in their restaurant. We only had breakfast and this was the most complete breakfast I have had in Italy. High quality and always plenty. We will return to this beautiful hotel again in future
Residence Antares

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a kitchen. It was clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were particularly nice. We had a comfortable nights sleep. The hotel was actually much nicer than we were expecting from the photos. The rooms were modern and recently refurbished. The staff was very helpful. The bar and restaurant was nice and the location was very good about 200 metres from one of the main gondolas and within easy walking of many restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The pool was the only disappointment - way too cold and no one in our group of 21 people used it more than once because of this. We would stay here again.
Boutique Hotel Nives - Luxury & Design in the Dolomites

I don't usually take the time to review places i have stayed but in the case of Hotel Nives, our stay was extremely memorable and i highly recommend it. The service from all of the staff was exceptional but Anna and Giovanni in particular went over and above our expectations to make us feel welcome. Its personal a level of service that went far beyond what we have have experienced previously. The buffet breakfast is extremely extensive and by far the best that we have experienced from 15+ years of these trips. Alex, the owner ferried us about in his Mercedes Sprinter to the various lifts even though they were only a short walk away. The hotel itself is spotless and full of nice details as well as a stunning view from the large windows out onto the square. There is a really comfy lounge area on the first floor as well as a cafe/restaurant open to the public on the ground floor. We had rooms 101, 102 and 207 (single room) all of which were spacious and had their own balconies. Thank you to Alex and Alice for hosting us. We can't wait to come back!
Hotel Acadia - Mountain Home

Overall excellent stay! Clean and comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Fantastic location 10 meters from the ski lift and an excellent rental shop. Good breakfast (only starts at 8 which is a bit late for early skiers) and very nice terrace with sunset. Best of all, all service was impeccable and came with a smile, nothing was a problem and the staff made us feel right at home. Overall one of the best stays i've ever had in the Alps, highly recommended!
