Three girls in our twenties went to Akiu Grand Hotel from Hokkaido to go on a trip. We were able to use the hot springs in both the annex and the main building, and although there was a fee for yukata, we chose a cute one, and the buffet had more variety than we expected, so we had a lot of fun!
There were no foreigners there, and there were often times when we happened to have the hot springs to ourselves, so we were able to relax and enjoy the hot springs. If we have the opportunity, we would like to use them again (^^)

My younger brother's family and I stayed here as two families.
Everything we had at the buffet was delicious, and the raw dishes, especially the sashimi, were even more delicious than we expected.
I think the menu was catered to a wide variety of tastes. Some guests commented that it would have been nice if they had yakisoba noodles.
The baths in the main building were very clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately, we didn't win bingo in the "Bingo Tournament," but we all had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.
I'd like to stay here again.

It is an hour away by bus from the city center, and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the hot springs. The amenities are well-equipped and the staff is very friendly. Dinner and breakfast served buffet style are also delicious. Overall it's very good.

I don't want to come to Akiu Grand Hotel again because of the poor customer service.
Since it was an occasional family trip, I thought I had booked a suite room even though it was a little expensive, but when I was taken to my room, I was given an older room in the annex, and even though I don't smoke, I was given a smoking room. Too bad 😢 I came here to commemorate the victims of the East Japan Earthquake, so I would like to have a proper memorial service without worrying about the hotel.

However, when I was waiting for the bus to Sendai Station in front of the hotel entrance, it was difficult to find the waiting area, and an elderly couple cut in line and went to the front of the queue, and then they got on the first bus to Sendai Station, which was unpleasant at the end. I decided to stay here because I read reviews on every website and saw that most of the reviews were positive. In the end, I'm glad I stayed there.
