B&B HOTEL Ulm

Upon arrival we were received unfriendly. We still had to pay something and wanted to do this in cash. The machine did not accept the note that had just been taken from the machine, after which we were ordered to pay by card. Fine. We brought the stuff to the room and I went to walk the dogs. Immediately the unfriendly man appeared and asked unfriendly again if I had paid for them. I thought I had, but after checking it turned out that this was not the case. I had to come later to pay. Since the entire treatment was bad, I decided to pay only upon departure. My husband is ill and needs his rest, so I hung the "do not disturb" on the door. 2 hours later there was a knock. I did not open the door.. Another 2 hours later again. Whether I wanted to pay for the dogs. Yes, tomorrow morning! I have never experienced this before!!!! Upon departure I asked why the knock was necessary since the label was hanging on the door. Was he so afraid that we would not pay? The cash register was wrong, was the answer. We travel a lot, but we will never go back here!!!!!!!

The hotel is centrally located near the main train station, and you can easily walk to the old town. The only annoying thing at the moment is that you have to go through a pedestrian underpass where cyclists also ride, so you have to be very careful. The breakfast was OK - although the selection is a bit limited for the price. It's good that you can book it individually for each day. The room was a bit dusty in places but otherwise comfortable, if a bit small. A small fridge would be useful. Overall, it was OK and nice for a short vacation.
