Hotel room was very nice but Avery big drawback was that the hotel central AC was not in operation this season and it got very hot in the room (30 degrees C) even with windows open. Not acceptable for a five star hotel. Room was excellent.

The hotel is quite new and reasonably priced. During the summer holiday, it's actually quite rare in Shanghai to find a hotel of this quality for less than 1000 RMB. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. Breakfast offered a good variety, with the noodle station being particularly delicious, and several decent Chinese side dishes. If you don't feel like going out, the Chinese restaurant on the second floor also serves good food, though it is quite pricey. The only downsides were a slight odor in the bathroom, a broken and dirty trash can, and the room's cleanliness wasn't ideal, with noticeable dust and lint. Considering it was peak summer season, I was still generally satisfied. On another note, getting a taxi to Disneyland from here is very convenient. It's not so close that you'd struggle to find a taxi when leaving Disneyland (drivers sometimes refuse short fares right next to the park), but also not too far. A taxi ride to Disneyland typically costs around 35-50 RMB.

Outside of really expensive hotels, I often find that accommodation in the 400-500 RMB range is a bit of a hit-or-miss, with online photos often differing significantly from reality. I didn't put too much thought into it when booking; after looking at many options, I primarily chose this one because of its proximity to Disneyland. However, upon arrival, I was genuinely impressed. The hotel boasts a very upscale and elegant decor, the facilities are good, and the service was excellent. While the breakfast buffet didn't offer a vast selection, it was decent enough, and the lobby's design was also quite impressive.

The air conditioning was absolutely dreadful, and the service was equally bad!!! I've stayed in countless hotels, but I've never had to leave such a negative review. Right from check-in, we arrived a little after 1 PM, and the staff member at the front desk was completely dismissive. He flatly told us check-in wasn't until 2 PM and made us wait, without even bothering to tell us where. He didn't make eye contact with us once during the entire process. After checking in, the room was stifling hot. When we turned on the AC, it made a huge racket but didn't blow any cold air. We reported it to the front desk, and they claimed they'd send engineering to check it. As we were out for most of the day, we have no idea if anyone actually came. When we complained to Ctrip upon check-out, the hotel responded, stating that their engineering team had inspected the AC and found no issues. Yet, from the moment we checked in until our departure, the AC was running for a full day and night, and the room temperature never dropped below 27°C. And they dare to claim there were 'no issues'? Apparently, the manager's attitude was also very poor. We chose this hotel because it's a Wyndham chain, and I'm utterly shocked to see how much their management standards have deteriorated. This hotel is permanently on our blacklist.

This was my first stay at the Wyndham Pudong. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and incredibly spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and check-in was a breeze. Plus, the minibar was complimentary! We checked out early the next morning for our trip to Disneyland, and storing our luggage was handled very efficiently. The concierge even helped us arrange a taxi. A truly excellent experience overall.

Sadly not the best experience at the hotel. The pros : front desk handled check in and out fast and efficiently, they responded to queries well and could communicate in English. Maintenance was kind and cheerful (the blinds in the bathroom shower got jammed ) they fixed it in no time and had a good attitude. The hotel itself is beautiful and large, it’s new. There’s a 1 x free shuttle to Disney land and back to hotel. Cons : Housekeeping did not do their job. I just checked to see if the service is stated on the amenities but don’t see any, maybe that’s why it was dirty. Hair on the floor and shower floor still had footprints from whoever used the room last, only beds were made everyday, used cups were not replaced the first day of cleaning. ( I stayed 3 nights here, I tried to keep it neat as possible since no cleaning took place - left the room early and came back late since I spent 2 days at Disney) The room is new but with the lack of daily housekeeping I can see the shower slowly forming a brown color which will turn moldy, floors dull and the floors of the room scuffed and dirty. I was too tired the second night from Disney land and forgot to call in to mention the lack of hygiene, and the third I assumed it would be cleaned during the day because I placed the change sheets card on the bed. Sewer smell is strong in the room probably from the lack of cleaning and washing too. I didn’t have breakfast during the 3 day stay, so I can’t comment on that. The hotel is very large and beautiful, rooms big and spacious but with improving the housekeeping the hotel would be a wonderful stay!!! I hope this feedback will strengthen service because it is a nice place to stay. ❤️

I don’t recommend this hotel! I ask for an extra bed , when we arrived at 1am the extra bed was not here, and the staff was not nice with us. We wait about 40 minutes to have it and I have to insist for have one. we ask for take a shower because we already check out on the morning , they don’t want ! So we leave at the airport without a shower at 11pm! And nobody speak English

Seriously terrible and distressing why has trip use this hotel as five star since I have allergic to smoke and we were given a smoked room and late at night wasting our time having to sit and wait to change the room we were told about the owner loves nature and not allowed any smoking in fact even the shuttle bus driver smoked and the bus smell of smoke terrible experience and I am waiting for full compensation for horrible bellow 3 star service on both of the booking I made with this hotel and I want trip com to write to me back urgently

the hotel provide free shuttle bus to airport and disneyland but make sure you reserve one day in advance. they are 15-20 mins away. the hotel doesnt have a swimminh pool but it has small playroom for kids the breakfast was just ok. there was mall 10 mins walk from the hotel. quite good selections of food there!

It was an amazing hotel and the services were good enough room size as well as nice and clean.

Excellent location if going to Disney land , Bicester village and airport. Near by eatery and supermarket . They provide free shuttles to the airport and Disney. Rooms are clean and spacious . The only thing is it is a little far from the city center

The hotel is a convenient option for travelers needing a one-night stay near PVG Airport. It offers a free shuttle service and is only about a 20-minute drive away. That said, adjusting your expectations will help you enjoy your stay more. I initially thought this was a luxury hotel, but it does not meet that standard. The service fell short compared to hotels we've stayed at in Nanjing or central Shanghai. We arrived with several pieces of luggage, but no one offered to help or open the door for us. We had to specifically ask for assistance. The front desk also didn’t provide the Wi-Fi information, and the instructions on their website were incorrect. I had to call twice to get the correct info. While the staff were responsive, their tone lacked warmth or hospitality. On top of that, the front desk issued the wrong room key cards. Thankfully, the bellhop was very helpful—he ran down 13 floors to get us new ones. However, when we inserted the key card into the power slot in the room, the entire unit fell off the wall. Overall, the location and shuttle service make it worth the price if you're just looking for convenience. Just don’t expect anything beyond the basics.

The best location in the business nearby airport… opposite of the mall and the roommate very clean.. the shuttle bus are available every 30 mins to the airport
