The cleanliness of the room and the service provided by the hotel were very good. However, there were areas that needed improvement. I stayed at the hotel for five nights. The TV's internet service wasn’t working for all channels for three nights. Need additional payments to watch most of the TV channels
Additionally, unlike most hotels in China, this hotel offers only a fixed set breakfast instead of a buffet. The breakfast cost ¥38 but the portions were relatively small and there were only three varieties to choose from.
Also, do not be misled by the hotel’s advertised photos. The hotel is a three-story building with just over 40 rooms. The tall apartment complex visible behind the hotel in the photo is not part of the hotel property.
The location is somewhat isolated and was not noisy at night. The nearest metro and bus stations were within a 10 or 15-minute walk.

Great location nearby metro line 7 (exit 5), and multiple food, cafes, bakeries, and convenience stores, including a nice shopping too, all within a 2 minute walk. The location benefits from being across from a nice residential compound so it’s not noisy at all at night. The hotel is modern with good amenities including communal laundry/dryer, microwave, and even a free massage chair in the lobby. My room was clean and modern, and it’s nice and quiet. There are different sized rooms and I was fortunate to get an upgrade to a larger room, thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. Although they do not speak English they do have a phone translation app which works well. All-in-all I recommend this place.

Very good stay. The staff was available, attentive, and spoke English well. The hotel is well located, 15 minutes from a metro station and next to a shopping mall and many restaurants. I recommend this hotel.

I got a great deal and this was amazing value. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel is nice - lobby is good and the robot that brings deliveries is nice. Although the staff couldn’t speak English they always tried with google translate. The cleaning of my room was good and efficient and I liked the free water bottles. Only thing was as my room was right next to the elevator it was quite noisy. But thank you Yitel! I had a great stay.
Everything else is fine except that the hospital opposite is a bit noisy. Eating is also very convenient, with many snacks. The subway station is less than 100 meters away, which is very convenient. I will stay here again next time.

Good location, great service, clean and comfortable room, rich breakfast, super cost-effective, highly recommended! The front desk is enthusiastic, the room is clean and quiet, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. I will stay there next time! The hotel has an elegant environment, meticulous service, convenient transportation, and a perfect stay experience. It is worth coming again!
Nice hotel with delicious fresh orange water and free mandarin oranges. Staff were polite and professional when infront of guests. Good location beside the metro station. However, beside a Mac Donald, nearby does not have much and there were many small posters thrown outside the hotel.
Overall, this hotel is good to stay for travel!

The hotel is a bit far from any metro station, but the location is quite close to Nanjing road and all the major attractions of Shanghai. The room was a bit too small, but for a short stay during travels for a couple is totally enough. Bathroom with smart toilet was cool and wifi worked well as well. One more minus is no international compatible plug, out of 4 hotels in China it was the first one with only chinese plug. The bed was comfortable the room had everything we needed.

We got one of the smaller rooms (accurately) pictured, though it suited our purposes just fine. Water pressure and temperature were consistent. The orange fragrance for the soap and shampoo smelled very nice and wasn't strong. The free orange gummy candies and biscuits were delicious! The orange juice at the front desk is a bit watered down, but nothing to complain about since it's free.
Noise insulation from the outside and inside was very good.
Unfortuntely some guests don't abide by the non-smoking room policy so you can smell smoke in the halls sometimes. However, it never made its way to our room.
If you need extra bottles of water, ask the front desk and they'll happily get you some.
There's a ramp at the entrance for those on wheels.
English instructions are posted in the laundry room on the 1st floor. Two washers and two dryers, with two baskets available if someone doesn't come pick up their laundry in a timely manner.
If you're a larger family staying in two rooms on different floors and need to visit each others' rooms, you'll want to figure out a system as the keycard only allows access to the floor your room is on. You get two keycards per room.
About a 8 minute walk away from Exit 4 of Wuning Station or 10 minutes away from Exit 5 of Changping Station. Not too convenient, but having two station options is nice.

I booked this hotel as I've been always a Ji hotel customer for years but this time was the most weird experience that I've ever had.
Generally the hotel, cleanliness and location is good, also the staff were very helpful and tried their best to give me the best room they had although they couldn't speak English.
The most weird thing is that I gave them my luggage when I checked out and by the time that I came back to get my luggage they gave me a similar luggage just like mine but belonged to someone else and I found it out when I came to airport to get boarding card! Briefly this situation made a lot of trouble for me and after all the phone calls, stress and etc. I couldn't get my luggage as it was too late for them to send. Now that I left the country I gotta spend 4000¥ to get my luggage back and the only thing they did was to send it to my friend's place in Shanghai.
I expected Ji hotel to take full responsibility for this mistake and act more professional but I'm disappointed Now. So to everyone who's going to book this hotel, pls be more careful with your belongings as the staff may put you in trouble and one more thing to say is that if you're a light sleeper, forget this branch of JI hotel for now since their next door is on a 24/7 construction that may not be very sleep friendly to you!

ZZKLinThis is my 2nd hotel around Shanghai railway station, Location I feel is the easiest to navigate at affordable price. Room is fairly clean and I appreciate the quiet atmosphere as compared to my previous hotel. The main issue is that inside out of my room has a strong cigarette smell during my stay. If you can take cigarette smell I think this hotel is suitable in terms of pricing and location.
VViviLeonFirst, the positives: the hotel is in an excellent location, surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants. It's a lively area that offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. However, it's important to note that The Bund is a 20-minute drive away, which might be inconvenient for some travelers.
The hotel itself is clean and stylish, with modern decor and comfortable amenities. However, I encountered several significant issues that will prevent me from staying here again. The walls are extremely thin, and I could hear people shouting all night long, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
Additionally, there are ongoing renovations both inside and around the hotel. The constant noise from construction made it a nightmare to stay in the room during the day and even at night. This disruption significantly impacted my ability to relax and enjoy my stay.
In conclusion, while the location and style of are appealing, the thin walls and extensive renovations create an environment that is far from restful. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.
GGuest UserThis is the first time I visit to this hotel. The hotel is very big. I'm very impressed, large room and very comfortable with my girlfriend. The room is very beautiful. I'm so happy. I wish I would have a chance to come back to use the service again for sure.

HHuangpunannanThe hotel has an excellent location, close to the Hongqiao transportation hub, which is very convenient for business trips, high-speed trains, planes, or travel. The hotel has an elegant appearance, and the interior decoration is luxurious and stylish. As soon as you enter the lobby, you can feel the high-end feeling. The guest rooms are warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom equipment is also of high quality, with great care in every detail. The breakfast is very rich, with Chinese and Western food, and the taste is very delicious. The most commendable thing is the hotel service. From the front desk to the cleaning, every staff member is warm and thoughtful, and takes the initiative to help solve various problems, which makes people feel warm. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice, highly recommended!
MMatt EastonWhat a great place to stay if you are visiting Shanghai. It’s in an excellent location, walking distance to lots of good stuff and close to several Metro lines. The rooms are quite lovely and the staff are very kind and helpful. For the price I do not think you will find a better spot. There’s a cute Mexican place next door which is accessible from the lobby and it’s wonderfully easy to have things delivered if you don’t feel like going out. Great shower with two different heads and hot water. I would say not to bother with the breakfast, the standard of food is poor and the other guests seem incapable of covering their mouths whilst coughing and sneezing which makes the whole thing feel like more of a superspreader event than a dining experience. I give this place a strong 9/10, only didn’t get the ten because of other guests antisocial behaviour but it’s to be expected so not the hotel’s fault. I will definitely stay here again and again and again.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel has complete facilities. It is the best one among all the Home Inns I have stayed in. It is super clean, the toilet is very clean, the desk is very tidy, and I really love the mirror in the bathroom, which is super bright. It is very friendly to girls who take care of their skin and put on makeup. I even accidentally saw that there was not a single dust in the dead corner, which was unexpected. The environment is also very good. Having said so much, what I want to praise the most is the service. Everyone is very friendly and makes me feel like home. The aunt who cleans the room is also very kind. They greet me every time I enter and exit the hotel. The lady has a very sweet smile. She also has a laundry service that can help with washing and drying. The clothes delivered are warm. It is really worth recommending. You can shower with your eyes closed.
