Shanghai Jing'an District 3-star Hotels

We stayed 2N at room 335 (10-12 May 2025). Room was spacious, clean and bright with 2 double beds for 3 of us. We slept well, beds were comfortable and air con, lightings all working fine. Quiet neighbourhood. Location was abt a 400-500m to Zhong Xing subway, A few convenient stores around the hotel where you can get drinks and snacks. A few small eateries within 150m.  We absolutely love the hotel, they have washers and dryers (including detergent) free for hotel guests and big fridge selling drinks and mostly important the counter staff are super friendly. They used their personal mobile phones to help order takeaways for me and ensured I’m informed when the delivery has arrived.  We have a comfortable stay at the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel. It is near to Shanghai railway station and famous Nanking road and within 10mins walk to a big shopping mall (大悦城). Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who cleaned our room daily.

The hotel room is large and the beds are confortable. The only issue I had was that our room smelled of cigarette smoke when we got back and I asked the front desk to let us change rooms. Initially, they wanted us to sleep in the room for the night and change tomorrow. I insisted that we cannot sleep with the smell of cigarette smoke as we are alresdy having headache with the smell. That is when they told us that we can transfer to another room. Just a little disappointed with the service that they were not proactive to let us change rooms or get rid of the smell. The location has a great view of the river, but a little walk from the train station. They have free water bottles that you can request and the robot will come up to your door to deliver. Sometimes, the AI will not understand you and will just be quiet. So hopefully, this will improve and AI will respond that it does not understand instead of just giving the silent treatment. They also have free candies, teas, and amenity kits like comb, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. which you can freely get from the lobby. They also have vendo machines for drinks, instant noodles and some table games at the ground floor.

The hotel's location is truly fantastic! It's situated right by some local goats (what a unique touch!), and the quaint streets nearby are full of cafes by day and bustling bars by night. I loved starting my mornings with a leisurely coffee (or two), and in the evenings, after a refreshing shower, I'd often stroll back out for a nightcap. The plane tree-lined streets were perfect for a delightful city walk. Plus, it's a super convenient 5-minute walk to the subway station. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and its facilities are well-appointed. The room size is average, though due to the weather, it was a bit damp. We had booked a 2-night stay that included an afternoon tea package, and I spoke with the friendly front desk staff to swap the afternoon tea for a day's breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

I got a great deal and this was amazing value. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel is nice - lobby is good and the robot that brings deliveries is nice. Although the staff couldn’t speak English they always tried with google translate. The cleaning of my room was good and efficient and I liked the free water bottles. Only thing was as my room was right next to the elevator it was quite noisy. But thank you Yitel! I had a great stay.

My third trip to Shanghai, I love this place most. No hesitation to stay here again. East Nanjing Road is just 15 minutes by walk Very convenient to get around the town, Qufu road station is a little hundred foot steps away. Beautiful pedestrian way along Suzhou Creek is just behind the building.

We were given a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a great surprise. Despite the bad weather in the city, the staff were very helpful – they checked whether the nearby park was open and if we’d be able to get there. Unfortunately, we couldn’t visit the park due to flooding, but I’d gladly come back and stay in the same hotel again. Breakfast was great – local and very tasty!

The lobby area is cool, with seating pods, pool table and table football available. Plenty of seating areas as well. Room was nice and clean though the walls were covered in marks, especially in the toilet which could do with repainting. Staff were helpful and location is great, close to the metro and on the edge of the French concession with some good food places and shops only a short walk away. I’d definitely stay again

Nice place to stay when in shanghai.. it has smart toilet and inside washing machine but you need to make sure again if your room will get smart toilet. it’s also near metro station as well as shanghai train station. Rui who is the desk staff is very helpful because she arranged for my charger to be sent to Chongqing when i accidentaly left it when i checked out.

The location is strategic for travelling to different attractions place. There’s a lot of shopping mall, convenient store and restaurants nearby. Of course, as mentioned by other guests, the room is not new but well maintained. The hotel staff are very friendly too.

The hotel is well-equipped and offers excellent service. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Its location is incredibly convenient, being very close to Shanghai Railway Station with two subway lines nearby, making transportation a breeze. The hotel's decor and ambiance are perfectly suited for young adults and professionals! Plus, the beer tasted great! I'll definitely continue to stay here myself and will highly recommend it to all my friends visiting Shanghai.
