Family-friendly Hotels in Shaoxing

As a half-Shaoxing native, I accompanied my mother to travel. I haven't been to my hometown for a long time. Shaoxing has changed a lot in recent years. I stayed at Dayu Kaiyuan and found it to be an ancient village-style hotel suitable for a short vacation. The small bridges and flowing water, the winding paths, are very suitable for daydreaming and relaxing. Although I only stayed for a day, I had a good overall experience. From the SMS reminder before check-in, to the detailed introduction of the hotel by the staff at the front desk when checking in, to the high-quality service of the shuttle bus brother, and of course the thoughtful care of the housekeeper Xiao Chen, I think they are all the highlights of Dayu Kaiyuan. The staff are customer-oriented everywhere, and the quality service is felt. If the variety and taste of the breakfast can be improved a little bit, it will be even better!

Massive suites. Very luxurious and comfy. Feels like being in a upscale apartment. Perfect for family and friends to stay together. Highly recommend. They can improve on expanding their car parking space more for the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tianma Grand Hotel Keqiao for 4 nights, and my experience was exceptional. The hotel combines modern luxury with warm hospitality, making it an ideal place for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest after busy days. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the room's design and the high standard of cleanliness maintained throughout my stay. The staff at Tianma Grand Hotel were professional, courteous, and always eager to assist. They were attentive to my needs, ensuring that everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience. The hotel's dining options were impressive, with a variety of delicious dishes available. Breakfast offered a wide selection of both Chinese and Western cuisine, catering to different tastes and preferences. Additionally, the hotel’s location was convenient, close to key areas in Keqiao, which made getting around easy. Overall, my stay at Tianma Grand Hotel Keqiao was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Keqiao.

It is a five-star hotel with a good environment, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a good location. It is a quiet place in a busy city. It is also very convenient for travel. It is very close to Yangming's hometown, the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy, and Cangqiao Street, all of which are about 15 minutes' walk. The scenery is pleasant, and the front desk service is convenient and fast. When we heard that we left the hotel early and could not have breakfast in the hotel, the front desk was very considerate to help us pack the meals and handed them to us in time when we left the hotel. The service was superb, whether it was the guest room, catering, or the front desk, the concierge, everyone greeted guests with a smile, thumbs up 👍🏻

This time I brought my mother and baby to Shaoxing for a trip. It was a good choice to choose Shaoxing Hotel. If I come again next time, I will choose to stay here again. Facilities: The room was cleaned very clean. 😀 Environment: This is the first time I chose a garden-style hotel. It is so beautiful, and my mother also praised it. 🥰 Service: The hotel waiters are very friendly. When I go out, I will greet the waiters who clean the guest rooms warmly. 🥰 The free travel photography can only be participated by one person in a room. If there is one more person, an additional fee will be charged. It would be better if two people can use it. Finally, it is a bit regrettable that there was no small gift when I left the hotel. I don’t know if there was no gift at all, or the front desk forgot to give it. 🥺

An authentic Tuscan Italian castle building, classical and elegant, every part of it reflects the glory of the Renaissance. The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is thoughtful, warm and attentive, the food is large and tastes good, the waiter was very considerate to remind us that if there are fewer people, we can just order half a portion of food, and we were given champagne when we left the hotel, which was great.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Within walking distance or a short taxi ride, you can find restaurants complex/shopping malls. Its also fairly close to major tourist attractions. Our room is very comfortable and spacious. What made our stay exceptionally pleasant is the staff here. Overall staff are very helpful, but our highlight is a staff called miss Dai. Our trip to the city of Shao Xing was rather a last minute one, so we didn't really know of the things are. Miss Dai, from the breakfast area, was very helpful when we asked her for advice. We were very happy with her recommendation.

The Oriental Grand hotel is part of a complex which includes 3 theme parks. One indoor mountain park, one indoor water park, and one large outdoor theme park. The parks were fun for our toddler. Call in advance to see which parts of the park are open/closed for the season. The hotel and facilities are designed for kids, so expect lots of them to be around! We stayed for 3 nights during the October Golden Week but the hotel was not overly busy, nor was the theme park. The breakfast was solid with mostly Chinese options but Western options as well. We enjoyed both the breakfast and the buffet dinner. Other food options in the area are quite limited, and the food in the parks is pretty poor. We were a 20-40 minute taxi ride away from other major attractions in the city, like Daxianglin and the giant buddha, as well as some of the ancient towns. The rooms were clean and new, and we had an excellent view of the nightly fireworks show from the main theme park, even from the bathtub! The rooms were quiet at night and the blackout curtains allowed everyone to sleep in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall I would recommned this hotel to people seeking quiet and comfort during a theme-park trip.

The hotel is located in the core area of Shaoxing Ancient City, a few minutes walk to Cangqiao Straight Street and Shaoxing Museum. The bus stops are Dalu Xun's hometown, Shenyuan, Shusheng's hometown and other attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was warm and thoughtful, and I felt at home. The hotel's Shaoxing cuisine is also very distinctive, ”clear soup fish round” refreshing and delicious, ”head belly vinegar fish” is worthy of the name of the real Shaoxing cuisine gold award dishes, a hundred to eat, not inferior to Hangzhou's ”West Lake vinegar fish”, can be called Shaoxing cuisine signboard!

The hair dryer in the hotel is a bit old, and the service is nothing to say. Star-rated hotels are just different. My husband insisted on bringing a cantaloupe when he was on a business trip. He forgot how to eat it. I asked the hotel front desk and immediately arranged for a waiter to come to the room to help us cut the fruit. Thank you both. The service staff (Shen Liying, Wang Junfen) are warm and thoughtful! 👍
