Kashikojima Hojoen
"This is an established, somewhat older hotel (not ancient). It's quite large, and you can still see remnants of its 80s and 90s glory days, like the bowling alley. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a lovely view. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful. The hotel also has its own hot spring bathhouse, with indoor, outdoor, and garden-style rotenburo options. It's very close to Kashikojima Station, and there's a shuttle bus service available. Nearby, there's a small fishing village and harbor you can explore, and even take a boat ride. This is a great place to relax, unwind, and get closer to nature. Plus, it's easily accessible by direct train from Nagoya and Osaka."
Quintessa Hotel Iseshima
"The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped me with local recommendations, booking taxi, and were very generous with helping me understand the amenities in the hotel. The hotel and the onsen inside were both very nice, I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area!"
Nemu Resort Hotel Nemu【Reopening on April 18, 2026】
"A standard resort hotel with large rooms and great scenery. It has some nice entertainment options. You can rent a car to explore the area and there is a bus station pick-up. It is very cost-effective."
Shima Kanko Hotel the Classic
"The staff is very friendly, excellent service, thank you🥰"
Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace
"I was able to relax like I would at a resort. The location was great and the service was pleasant. I would definitely like to visit this facility again with my daughters."
Kashikojima no Yado Michishio
"Very good Japanese restaurant. No matter the service, room, view, or Japanese service, they are all excellent."
Shima Kanko Hotel the Bay Suites
"This beautiful hotel pearched on a clift in Shima with impeccable service is a must stay in Shima. Super friendly staffs who are knowledgeable and are prepared to answer your every question makes our stay at this venue a very memorable one. Restaurant La Mer and the Japanese restaurant never failed to amaze us, even though we only had our breakfast there. The top floor viewing deck is a must to see one of the best sunset in the world. The breathtaking views from your suite is simply worth the price."
Kashikojima Hotel Bay Garden
"The hotel is very close to Kintetsu Kashikojima Station. The room is quite big. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are not a problem for use. The hotel staff is also responsible. The room also has a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. However, Kashikojima is quite remote. It is still a good choice for people who don't like many tourists. There are few restaurants around. If you check in late, you can't find a place to eat. The only convenience store at the station is only open until 18:00."
Grand Mercure Ise-Shima Resort & Spa
"Very good"

"The homely feeling was very good."
Hotel Shima Spain Mura
"I've never been to Spain, but the room had a distinctly different atmosphere from Japan, and I had a very comfortable stay. The only thing that bothered me was that the bathtub was shallow."
Haifu
"That's good 😆"
Hiogiso
"A very nice Japanese-style hotel with a beautiful sea view and a very sumptuous dinner."
Tabist Hotel Villa Daioh Resort Ise-Shima
"thank you very much."
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shima Saichoraku
"I've been to most of the Yukai Resorts, but I think this one is one of the better ones. The rooms are nice, and the atmosphere of the building is nice. The only thing that's fun about traveling is the baths... They're not bad, but I guess that was the trend or the thinking at the time of construction... one of the baths is very small!! On the other hand, you can see the effort that went into making the open-air baths. If it rains, you'll end up getting wet while bathing, which is really unpleasant. The restaurant is also spacious and easy to use."
Tomoyama Kanko Hotel
"I made a reservation because I heard that there was a cottage where you could stay with your pet, and I traveled 10 hours from Gunma. I thought I was prepared for the smell in the room since pets were allowed, but it was worse than I expected. The bedding and pillows smelled like animal odor mixed with old age, and there was no dust mite protection. I don't recommend using a sofa, tatami mats, or bedding because your body will feel itchy. Being in Ise-Shima, I was really looking forward to the meal. Since it was summer, I made a barbecue plan, but I regret it. First, vegetables, meat, and seafood are all placed on one plate and left for a long time in a hot and humid venue, and you are guided there. For hygienic reasons, it is forbidden in restaurants to serve uncooked ingredients (meat and seafood) on the same plate as bacteria can easily grow there, but this was done at this hotel. As expected, I felt unwell after eating and had vomiting and diarrhea. As for the salad, there was hair mixed in and it looked like it was half eaten? That's what it felt like. As for breakfast, there are only a few types of things to put on rice and that's it. I didn't think it was worth paying for such a poor meal. Since pets are allowed, there was a dog run, but perhaps because of the customer base, the dog's fur was left as it was after being groomed, and feces was left hidden in the corners, which was the worst. It was a pretty harsh environment for my children, who are indoor dogs. I felt that it was inconvenient to walk a considerable distance from the cottage to the meals/main building etc. unless I asked for someone to pick me up. There was only a small shop in the reception area of the main building, and the variety was small and the prices were high. The customer service of the employees was very good and polite, but everything else was the worst. I will never go again and cannot recommend it to anyone."
Bishoku No Kakurega Provence
"50 ~ The people in their 60s were the center of the guests, and they felt calm and the customer service was good. Not only dinner but also breakfast was good as shown in the photo."
Shima Mediterranean Village
"The hotel rooms were so beautiful, I was really impressed 🥺 The food was also amazing!! You can even make things in the workshop!! That's a bit off topic, but the rooms are the best! They're on the second floor, and it feels like a princess lives there! Everyone, please check them out!"
Amanemu
"A truly perfect trip! I came here to relax and fully immerse myself in the beautiful surroundings of Ago Bay and the hotel's secluded atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly warm and attentive, from the station pick-up and drop-off to afternoon tea, dinner, breakfast, and even the spa – every step was seamlessly managed. I look forward to coming back again!"
