Shanshuijian Dehang YasheHomestay in the heart of the National AAAAA-rated Dehang Scenic Area, the hotel is surrounded by ancient Miao villages and overlooks natural wonders such as the Dehang Grand Canyon, Liusha Waterfall, Aizhai Bridge, and Tianwen Platform. Rooted in the millennia-old cultural heritage of the Tujia and Miao ethnic groups, the hotel embodies a philosophy of "secluded luxury," blending dark aesthetics with the wild beauty of its surroundings. Spanning 3,846.81 square meters, the property was meticulously crafted by Xiangxi intangible cultural heritage artisans. Its terraced stilted architecture harmonizes with the valley’s topography, where gray tiles, wooden beams, upturned eaves, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows intertwine, preserving the charm of traditional village design while embracing modern minimalist elegance. Inside, interiors draw inspiration from Miao silver ornaments and embroidery, weaving mystical ethnic motifs with contemporary design to reflect a philosophy of "seclusion without isolation." Here, the hotel is both a sanctuary and a homecoming. As the echoes of Miao drums fade and bonfire embers cool, guests are left with the whispers of mountain streams and the intimate warmth of rooftop hot spring pools. Shan-Shui-Jian Dehang Elegant Lodge offers 49 rooms that encapsulate the untamed spirit and gentle allure of Xiangxi, inviting travelers to follow the glimmer of silver adornments and surrender to a timeless slumber. More than a place to stay, it is a journey to awaken cultural roots—a chance to immerse in the dark mystique of Xiangxi and touch its poetic soul and ethereal spirituality.
"The hotel environment is great! The moment I opened the window, I heard the sound of a flowing stream! This sound can relieve insomnia, calm the mind, and is perfect for meditation! The staff were very polite and greeted us! From booking the hotel to being dropped off at the station, every environment was very nice! The shuttle service, afternoon tea, and sweet soup—the service was meticulous! Hu Lin, the customer service manager, a young woman in her 20s, is amazing. She answers every question without delay! You must try the rice noodles and fried eggs for breakfast. I was also prepared to give it a try, and the sweet aftertaste was so lingering that it left a lingering fragrance. You can say that this hotel is worth buying without regrets, and you won't be disappointed! Finally, I have to mention that the restaurant across from the hotel has very nice people. The dishes they cook are clean, delicious, and polite! If I had to choose a hotel again, I would definitely choose this one, the only one!"
