"This was our first trip to Semporna with our son, and we absolutely loved our stay at Sky Water Villa! The Deluxe Villa offered a beautiful view, and the staff were incredibly friendly, always welcoming us with warm, courteous smiles. We felt so lucky to witness a sea turtle that appeared around midnight—such a memorable experience! Although the food was a bit spicy for our son, he still enjoyed it very much. We truly appreciate the chef’s kindness in preparing a special fried egg for him at no extra charge. The staff also accompanied us for snorkeling around the villas, as well as kayaking and stand-up paddling. Their thoughtfulness really made our stay extra special. We loved everything about Sky Water Villa and hope to visit again soon!"

"First of all, I am very happy to meet Menalisa's housekeeper Xiao Chen Laotie and a housekeeper sister. Secondly, I feel very happy to come to Semporna. Although I did not sign up for the sea tour on the first day, the housekeeper sister recommended other niche places to me. The mountain is also very beautiful! And thank Xiao Chen brother the most. He arranged a driver for me and I also took the sea tour from him. He is very good at taking pictures📷. I am especially grateful to him💓 for taking me to eat a lot of local food! We sat at the front desk and boasted together. It felt like he was very good. He could speak Chinese, English and Malay. I am very grateful to him again hahahaha! The hotel is also very good. You can tell the housekeeper if you have any needs, and they can solve them for you on the spot! But don't make unreasonable demands. I swear I'm not a shill. I spent four days in Semporna. Xiao Chen took me to eat for three days. The most regrettable thing is that I didn't eat seafood because I felt uncomfortable in my stomach and didn't really want to eat it haha. "The boss is Chinese and the service staff can communicate without any obstacles. The girl at the front desk is very nice and speaks fluent Chinese. Although the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy. Everything is very new. The staff of the whole hotel are very nice. The hotel has a washing machine. I forgot to dry the washed clothes. They saw it and helped me dry them very neatly."

"The staff are really, really kind!! I communicated with WhatsApp the day before and the reply speed was fast and the response was fast. There are a lot of Chinese and not many Koreans, so Alipay is the only option, so bring a lot of cash. And definitely upgrade your accommodation and make a reservation. The standard one doesn't have a hammock and has a veranda, so it's not that great, and the room is small. The building is pretty overall, and the sunrise in the morning is amazing!! It's really far from the city, so the water is clear and there's no trash floating in the sea. It rained the day I went, so I couldn't swim in the ocean near the accommodation, but the water is shallow, so I think it's okay to swim if the weather is nice. There are breakfast and dinner tea times, but I didn't go to tea time. Breakfast and dinner are really delicious. Good, but dinner time is very late, so I think it would be good to bring snacks. There aren't many Chinese people, and it's a place where many locals stay, so it's really quiet and secluded, which was nice. We paid extra for the pick-up service, and the drivers were good and the cars were nice, so it was comfortable!! You can make a reservation for snorkeling in advance, so I went to Mabul Island. The sea color is emerald and the water is clear, so it was good for hopping. Kota Kinabalu was dirty and there weren't many fish, and they didn't take care of Koreans, so it wasn't that great, but here, a guide with a PAI license took care of us and we snorkeled, so it was good. They gave us a snorkeling mask, but they didn't give us flippers, so it was a bit inconvenient, but it was okay. Towels, water, and lunch were also provided, and if you're going to snorkel, it's much better to come to Semporna!! You can see Nemo, turtles, and fish. We lost our waterproof packs, so we couldn't take pictures, but make sure to bring them ㅠㅠ They lend you a transformer, and the bathrooms are clean and have warm water. You pay a deposit of 50 ringgit and get it back when you leave. But there's no wifi ㅠ If Koreans are going to Semporna and the floating houses, come here. I really recommend it. I think I'll stay longer next time ㅠㅠ I came for 1 night and 2 days, but it was such a shame...."

"Hotel staff decorated our room for anniversary celebration. Super thoughtful of them. They have different equipments for snorkelling and paddle board for free. Food is great. We had salted egg prawns for one night and steamed prawn with eggs the other night. Some hairs on the bedsheets though... Otherwise the room is very clean. Great air conditioner. There's tour for island visiting and jumping. We joined one for Timba Timba beach, MataKing Island and Pom Pom island. Dived twice and snorkelling for three times. Time well spent with skillful coach and complimentary underwater video taping and photo taking."

"This is the only hotel on Pearl Island, and since we visited during the off-season, there were only two people in the entire hotel. After placing the reservation, the hotel emailed us the boat dock, and we called to confirm our itinerary. We asked several people, but they couldn't clearly explain the dock's location. We went to the wrong dock that morning, and immediately asked again, fearing we'd miss the boat pick-up time. We had originally planned to stay at this hotel so we could hike in the nearby National Forest Park, especially from the top of the mountain overlooking Pearl Island. The day before, we contacted the front desk, and they said we'd book the boat the next morning and pay the boat and guide fees separately. The next day, they told us there were no boats to the National Forest Park, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is certainly nice, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Starfish and small fish were clearly visible on the seabed below our room. However, snorkeling requires walking to the other end of the hotel, and you need to be careful when descending the steps to the diving area. The water is cool and there are a variety of small fish and starfish. We even saw a sea turtle on the way to dinner. The meals, while free, were mediocre. Overall, the service is lacking and needs improvement."
