nice heritage kinda hotel, big room and clean. It's a bit far away from the center, but very close to the budda stupa which is amazing. Hyatt has a standard, and this one doesn't really disappoint. It's a solid hotel to stay for 1-3 days when in kathmandu.

The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. Stayed for a few days, looks like this hotel just had a renovation ( everything) is new and clean The staff was very help full and friendly The room which i stayed in was perfectly clean and new bedsheets and towels were provided it also had a balcony;) City centre is like 35 min walking and by car/bike 10min. Will definitely book this hotel again when i visit Kathmandu.

Property is deep inside a residential area. Not easy to get a taxi but reception can call one for you. It takes 500 nepali fir taxi to get to city centre. Staff us super helpful, food is served fast and presentation is decent. Property is very clean and the patio attached to lobby is a cool place to hang out.

The local tour arrived one day in advance, so I stayed one night by myself. This is a relatively new homestay, which is relatively quiet at the end of the alley, but it is difficult for taxi drivers to find it. The decoration is relatively new, and the room is similar to the picture. Because there is a double bed, it is not spacious. There is only a small table and a shelf in the room, and there is not much space to put things. The bathroom is relatively spacious, but then the sewer leaked, and the shower did not have a shower curtain. The small garden for breakfast is the biggest highlight, and the environment is good. This is my second time to Nepal. The homestays in Kathmandu are similar. There are not many supplies in them. It is best to bring your own, but they all provide free tea and coffee. The staff are very friendly. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks Chinese, which is very convenient for Chinese people. To be honest, I don’t particularly recommend it for Chinese tourists.

After returning from Pokhara and Lumbini, I still choose to live by myself. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and hygienic, and I walked to the Great Buddha Pagoda at night. Excellent value for money. This time the room rate also includes breakfast, everything is very good.

We spend 4 days at Lavie hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Allthough the road is quite busy, after 10pm the traffic slows down heavily and the traffic noise disappears. We went several times to the early morning walking ceremony around Bouddhanath Stupa which is only a 10min walk from the hotel. The staff is great and we would like to thank Ms. Dawa in particular for her great support. She helped us to buy tickets for a local music festival and supported my wife when she didn’t feel comfortable. Thanks, Dawa!

The hotel is not big, the environment is quiet, the Tara statue in the lobby makes us feel safe and friendly, the room is clean and tidy, and I would like to praise the hotel guy, who is warm and hospitable, considerate of customers, and tries to meet all requirements. Our group of 6 people are very satisfied. Warm reminder: You need to bring your own toiletries, and there is a lack of hot water for washing.
