The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! Property is deep inside a residential area. Not easy to get a taxi but reception can call one for you. It takes 500 nepali fir taxi to get to city centre. Staff us super helpful, food is served fast and presentation is decent. Property is very clean and the patio attached to lobby is a cool place to hang out.

During this trip to Nepal, we chose to stay at the Bodiz Hotel (Hotel Bodhiz) next to the Big Buddha Tower, adding many good memories to the trip. Location: The hotel is extremely well located in the Big Buddha Tower Scenic Area, and it takes only 15 seconds to walk from the hotel gate to the Big Buddha Tower, which is very convenient. When dining at the terrace restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, you can have a panoramic view of the Big Buddha Tower within easy reach. Hotel Rooms: We booked a twin suite for five nights this time, which was spacious and bright, comfortable and clean. It has ample storage space such as two queen beds, a separate living room and a wardrobe dressing table locker. Because the experience was particularly good, I booked a family apartment for four nights, the room was very spacious, with two bedrooms and a separate kitchen and dining room. Services: The service at the hotel is very intimate. Especially Ms. Tseten at the front desk, she is not only professional and skilled, fluent in English, but also very warm and thoughtful. During our stay, she can respond quickly and provide effective solutions no matter what problems we encounter. Dorje, the front desk on duty at night, was also very friendly and warm. Also, staff Lhakpa and Swadesh helped transport luggage to the room from our arrival and helped communicate with the taxi driver on the pick-up location when checking out. Dining: The terrace restaurant on the roof of the hotel has three meals. Our order is breakfast included: breakfast is mainly in the form of set menu + drinks, with a wide variety. There are both Western breakfasts and local specialties to choose from. I was particularly touched by one small detail. In the hotel rooms, large glass bottles are used sustainably to hold mineral water, not plastic bottled water. If more drinking water is needed, there are water dispensers at both ends of each floor to provide guests with free high-quality mineral water with cold, often mild and hot three different options. We really like the Bodiz Hotel. Not only is the location excellent, the viewing angle is excellent, but the room is comfortable, the staff is attentive, the food is rich and delicious and the price is reasonable. You can see the pagoda from the roof, which is very solemn. The room facilities are very clean and in place, and the bathroom is very new. Hot water is available all day long, so you don't have to worry about not having a hot shower. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with views, so I chose to stay here for a few more days. The boss is very helpful and is very willing to recommend the surrounding tourist attractions, and he also acts as a guide. If he leads you, it saves time, effort and money. Choosing to stay at Little Buddha can save time and money in all aspects. The stone slabs in front of the door are very comfortable to walk on.
