Spent 3 nights at SRV in early March ... best place and best host through our 3-weeks in SL. Chaminda and his wife were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and Chaminda would sit with us in the evenings, his knowledge and enthusiasm for all things SL is a joy and his contact list is pretty impressive too. So much nature just wandering through the site. Particularly enjoyed sitting in the river being groomed by the fish and watching the Macaque's putting on a show .... water's a bit silty, but don't be put off!

Fantastic location, great “Jungle” experience if that’s what you looking for, we did. Amazing, super nice and helpful hosts! Breakfast included and the dinner host cooked for us was to die for! PS. They sell cold beer, no need to carry from shops- tips

The room was large & airy as was the bathroom. There was a little deck with a couple chairs right outside the room too. Our hosts were fantastic, super friendly and helpful! The breakfast we had was delicious and plentiful and the setting beautiful - on a deck right over the river. Although a little out of the main town it was easy enough to arrange a tuk tuk. The only minor downside was the shower (the shower head kept falling out the bracket) and unfortunately zero water pressure but given the location I totally understand this might be an issue Overall though I would definitely recommend staying here if in Sigiriya!

It has been a pleasure to stay at this calm place. It was so nice to be in the middle of nature sorounded by a lovely family. The best food I habe had so far! very comfy bed and clean room. I highly recommend this place to anyone. There is a lot to see there and the family is so helpful and lovely.

Dit is echt een paradijsje! Aan een riviertje tussen het groen ligt deze geweldige accommodatie. Met verschillende houten huisjes met gezellig balkonnetjes en uitzicht op de prachtige bomen, planten en het riviertje. Er komen regelmatig nieuwsgierige aapjes. De eigenaar en zijn gezin zijn super aardig. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. Er is laundry service en goede wifi. Er zijn muskieten netten en de bedden slapen prima. Ook lekker koel in de nacht in vergelijking met sommige andere hotels, ondanks dat er geen airco was. Wel een ventilator, die we niet hebben gebruikt. Beneden/Buiten zijn er hangmatten/ hangende ligbedjes. Heerlijk om even een middagje te chillen. De eigenaar heeft ons voor een schappelijke prijs naar onze volgende bestemming gebracht, namelijk Kandy. Super fijn! Wij zouden hier zeker nog eens terug gaan, we zijn hier heerlijk tot rust gekomen.
