I called the front desk and suggested calling the police (110) because it violated the rights of us legitimate guests. The male front desk staff retorted, "What rights have you violated?" What an arrogant service attitude and logic! If you can't guarantee a normal check-in environment at 3 AM, what rights are you violating? Then he said other rooms had also complained, not just me. So what? All these complaints were met with a few dismissive words of advice."

"The hotel is very clean and the facilities are excellent. I chose the closest hotel because I had to visit a nearby industrial complex, and I was satisfied. The breakfast was decent as well. The facilities are state-of-the-art, perhaps because it hasn't been open for long. However, the surrounding environment is a bit unpleasant. There are no commercial facilities nearby, so I highly recommend it if you are only staying at the hotel."

Holiday Inn Express Sihui City Center by IHG
"First, the parking garage location was poorly marked. Despite being under the InterContinental Hotel name, no security guards at the hotel entrance directed us to the underground parking. Second, the building has 18 floors, with 18 rooms per floor if I remember correctly. During holidays when it's almost fully booked, it's like having two elevators serving 18 rooms each, resulting in extremely long elevator wait times. Third, upon arriving at our room, we were exhausted and needed a shower to relieve the day's fatigue, but the shower room didn't have shower caps! I've never experienced a hotel like this before. We called the front desk, who said that shower caps weren't provided in the shower rooms, only at the front desk. So, it was another round of waiting for the robot elevator to bring the caps, another extremely slow wait. Fourth, since there were two of us staying there, and we tend to fight over blankets at night, we specifically called the front desk before bed to ask for an extra blanket to prevent us from getting cold. However, the front desk told us they didn't have any extra blankets… Don't normal hotels provide spare blankets? In summary, I've never had such a terrible stay. And this isn't a newly opened hotel; shouldn't these issues be proactively addressed? Doesn't hotel management really need to be improved?"

"The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is about 15mins walk to the Tian Guang Xu Jade market. And from there Yu Bo Cheng is just across. The service is commendable here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They taught me how to navigate the Didi and ******* Apps and gave me some useful advice and suggestions. I requested for a fridge which the Hotel doesn’t have. However the hotel staff brought in a portable fridge into my room instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the gesture. The hotel is of a certain age, but the rooms are clean. Breakfast is simple with a good variety and quite delicious. My suggestion is that they put a fridge in the room because summer could be quite warm. I an impressed with the Service here. Will definitely come back and stay again if I go to Sihui."
