Room is spacious, newly renovated and good amenities. However, the bathroom has no hooks or place to hang towel. Front desk service is quite slow and chaotic. Location is convenient to MRT and Chinatown.

Stayed at Amara Hotel recently – overall, it was a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the amenities were on point. However, the check-in process could use some improvement. It was slower than expected, and we were initially given the wrong room type on the wrong floor, which took some time to sort out. Other than that, the stay was pleasant, and the rest of the staff were courteous and helpful. Would consider coming back once the reception process is improved.

Bad experience . It’s my 1st review I never wan to do it but really disappointment . There were 5 of us so we booked 2 rooms, 1 with 1 king bed and 1 with 2x double beds room. I arrived first so I checked in , and he gave me room 833. Once I entered the room, there was a living room and a small kitchen with a king bed and a connecting room with 2 single beds(832) , I was curious that the room I booked was not this type. Later, my friend arrived and the room he gave my friend was 832, which was my connecting room with 2 single beds. My friend showed him the room we booked because there were 5 of us. He told us that this room type was a large room with a living hall and a small kitchen, and then we asked for an extra bed, but he said there were no extra beds. He kept repeating that the room he gave us was a large room and also told me that the room was full because Lady Gaga was coming for concert ,but our point was there were not enough beds. Finally, a girl saw us and walked over. We talked about the problem again, and she realized that the guy really gave us the wrong room, and she immediately apologized and gave my friend another room. (The guy also ask her how can simply open 1 extra room for us ) The next day when I checked out, I had pay a deposit of 100sgd for my room, but the reception said no, and the system showed that the deposit had not been received. It turned out that the same person made a mistake again he opening the sale transaction. Fortunately, I had the credit card receipt, otherwise there would be no evidence. In the end, I couldn't get a refund immediately and had to wait three weeks for a refund. The same person made the mistake twice. I will not choose this hotel anymore. Anyway room was ok but the staff was lack of training.

The room was surprisingly spacious for singapore standard and had a clean, modern feel. Location is great, just a short ride to Marina Bay Sands. Surrounding full of eateries - walkable distance. The shower was super strong and refreshing. Only downside was the breakfast, which wasn’t up to expectations. Overall, good value for money if you're not counting on breakfast.

I’m so happy with my stay at Amara Singapore! The location is amazing—there are many restaurants, cafes, a market, and even a 24-hour mart nearby, which made everything super convenient. I really enjoyed exploring the area. The room was excellent—comfortable, clean, and well-designed. Everything felt just right. However, I noticed there were no complimentary amenities like a comb, which was a bit unexpected. Also, the receptionist didn’t explain anything about the breakfast, so I was left a bit confused. And I was disappointed with the breakfast. The selection was limited. The staff were okay—not particularly friendly or attentive, but not rude either. Overall, aside from a few small things, I had a great experience and would consider staying again mainly because of the great location and lovely room.

Had a business meeting with few local partners at the club house. Overall is satisfied. Hotel location, facilities were excellent. Also the Bar at downstair worth to try out, nice music and environment. Will definitely come again.
