Plus points: fabulous location, comfortable room, peace and quiet, great food esp the breakfast Disappoints : lack of attention to detail (fittings in room not checked, fruit in room very poor quality and not replenished) Spa treatments poor, not what you’d expect in this sort of place and this price ! We were meant to have a 7 course meal on the second night but only got 3 as “the kitchen hadn’t been told”. Maitre d sorted it and we got some food and free drinks but again, in a place like this, a major mess up No real apology for the dinner debacle and we got the feeling that they don’t really care.

Just driving up this majestic place is a sight to behold.. You enter at the end of a 1km drive and the "wait" is not for nothing because you are met with what must be one of the most impressive entrances to such an establishment anywhere in Belgium. Happily, the service and quality of what this hotel/spa/resto offers will not disappoint. It is ideal for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway for a short break.But it also caters for families and, indeed, everyone is made to feel very welcome. It also has a terrific spa and fitness area and an excellent restaurant. The only pity, for those lucky enough to stay, is when you have to make the reverse drive up that drive and leave.......

This beautiful hotel is a former manor—inspired by the palace of Versailles. It is now a luxury hotel with beautiful grounds. Well appointed rooms with great views. Excellent spa facilities. Highly recommend while staying in Spa, Belgium

A perfect location and an old building, in the middle of the forest. Spa facilities are ok, but the breakfast and other food/beverage things are under my expectation even with high prices, comparing to "equal" premises world wide. Then it was ok, but I do not go twice...

Usually you chose your destination and then your hotel. When it comes to Maoir de Lebioles, you would chose the hotel first and then worry about what else is going on in Belgium! The hotel is exquisite, each room is distinct in its own way and the common areas stunning. I stayed twice recently, in different rooms and would be hard pressed to have a favourite. The Spa facilities are spotlessly clean and very relaxing. The restaurant is serving world class food. I used to think of Spa as having the best race circuit - now I think of it as having the best hotel.

Great hotel to feel good in a fantastic and quiet location. From the first moment you can feel the friendliness of the employees. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is simply great. In the evening we had an excellent meal in the restaurant. We will be very happy to come back.

Wij hadden een suite op de eerste verdieping en het was alsof de muziek beneden in onze kamer speelde De voetstappen van de kamer boven waren even luidruchtig. Ook het restaurant was, weinig verfijnd smaken slecht gecombineerd en 3 uur aan tafel was ons echt te lang
