"This is such a family friendly hotel. We had a lovely stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious, which was the main reason why I chose this hotel. Everything can’t be any better, just like the sunny weather in Barcelona. I’ve already started looking at Intercon in Rome, as we are thinking of going there next summer. It truly deserves five stars!! Walking distance to Monjuc and many tapas places nearby. I recommend sandwiches from O Barco and tapas dinner from Taps"

"As a designer of hotel interiors who spends most of my life staying in hotels, I’ve experienced my fair share of accommodations, and this one certainly had room for improvement. It’s hard to believe that, in this day and age, getting a simple cup of coffee for breakfast can be so difficult. I was told I could only enter the restaurant if I was having breakfast, but when I explained that I don’t eat breakfast and just wanted to sit, catch up on emails, and have a coffee, I was told no and offered a takeaway paper cup instead, like some sort of sub par citzen, not worthy of a seat at the table unless I was willing to eat there. I was told I could have gone to the empty hotel bar and sat in an armchair, hunched over my laptop, waiting until the bar opened at 9 am. I complained to the front desk staff, who listened attentively to my experience, but mid-sentence, they walked off to assist a guest with a faulty key card. So, not only was I desperate for coffee, but I also felt completely invisible. On top of that, the hairdryer stopped working almost immediately, and the gym was small and poorly lit. That said, there were some positives. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers (which is a personal pet peeve of mine, so I’m grateful for that). However, the window cutout was a real disappointment. Instead of a beautiful, wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling window that would have made the most of the view, we got a strange, aggressive-looking cut-out that blocked the view and didn’t align with the room’s style at all. Choose a room away from the lifts as they are noisy and busy. Overall, there’s potential here, but improvements are definitely needed. Certainly not what I expected from a 4 star Marriot brand."

"We stayed Saturday night. The hotel is magnificent, its location, the sea views from both the room and the upper terrace, the breakfast perfectly organized, and the food plentiful and varied. The room was very spacious and clean, but the amenities were scarce. I must say that I was surprised, in this case negatively, that a 5-star hotel could boast magnificent views. The curtains were of poor quality, nylon, completely wrinkled, and looked like a hanging rag. I mentioned this to reception, because I think the detail greatly detracts from a hotel of that category. They promptly acknowledged my comment. My rating for this is 3.5 out of 5."

"hotel is new and room is clean, just one reception lady's service is no good, we want to keep the same room to prevent the trouble of moving the lockage, but she don't consider client's needed or give some good suggestion, just said no then without the second words...We can pay more for rooms is no problem. That experice is bad."

"Very nice hotel with a reasonable price, very close to the metro station (parallel), easily travel to other key attractions in the city centre. The reception is very helpful and kind. Located on the Main Street but still quiet if window is closed. Highly recommended!"

"I chose this hotel specifically for the advertised airport transfer service. The room was a bit cramped, and the location is genuinely quite out of the way. I didn't feel it offered great value for money; in fact, staying at a city center hotel and taking taxis probably would have cost about the same. To top it off, my room was right by the main road, and the soundproofing was terrible. The bed was also quite saggy, which meant I didn't get a wink of sleep all night."

"Overall, our stay was pleasant. The room was large and clean. We didn't try the breakfast so can't say if it's good or not. The day we arrived it was very late at night and we were exhausted, and the person at the front desk instead of continuing with the check-in and showing us to the room started asking us if we took a taxi because apparently someone else staying there needed a taxi too. So we had to wait at the front desk while they sorted out someone else's problem first, which was frustrating."

"A good Spanish holiday, it should have been a happy ending, but it was a bit unhappy under the epidemic. On the last night, I learned that Singapore does not allow Chinese to cross the border. "This hotel is very convenient, not far from some famous places, you can park your car safely not far from the hotel in a guarded parking. The breakfast is very good, a lot of good things are available and give everyone what they want to eat. Except for the noise isolation which is bot very good, other points are very satisfying. The staff is globally also very friendly and helpful. I recommend."
