"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place. When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season? Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good. In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"The room is comfortable and clean, the service is warm and in place. Overall, it is a hotel with a relatively high cost performance. It is also very convenient for travel. Recommended"

"Although the hotel is old-fashioned, I really think it is a good deal. I went to Taicang to stay for a few days when I returned to China. I was too lazy to go to my own house. I would rather stay in Loudong because the cost performance is too high. The room was very clean, the toiletries were complete, the room was large, and it was very comfortable to sleep in with the curtains drawn. Parking is free and the location is in the center of Taicang. The breakfast is also clean, hygienic and delicious, with Taicang meat floss with porridge and freshly ground coffee. It is especially worth mentioning that there is a blood pressure monitor at the elevator entrance on the first floor. I will bring the elderly with me next time."

"Celebrating my birthday at Club Med Taicang this time was such a warm and wonderful experience! I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to our GO, Camellia. She was incredibly thoughtful, sending reminders even before our arrival, and once we checked in, she meticulously planned our entire itinerary so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The biggest surprise was when she secretly decorated our room with a lovely birthday setup and even arranged a delicious, delicate birthday cake. She truly remembered all the small preferences we casually mentioned. Throughout our stay, she was super responsive to any questions we had, and her attention to detail really showed. This birthday trip was made extra memorable thanks to her care. Next time I visit, I'll definitely be looking for Camellia again!"
