Spa hotels in Siem Reap

I recently stayed at The Aviary Hotel in Siem Reap for 7 nights (Kingfisher Deluxe Room), and it was an overall exceptional experience. Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Just a short walk to Pub Street, local markets, and the riverfront. This made exploring the city easy without relying on Tuk Tuks for every trip. Amenities: The pool area is the highlight, with plenty of sun loungers and a relaxing vibe. The Gym, while functional, is quite small and could use some upgrades. Common areas and the lobby are beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a tranquill atmosphere in a busy part of the town. Room & Comfort: The Kingfisher Deluxe room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was medium-firm with crisp, clean, sheets, and the towels were satisfactory. One quick note worth mentioning: the toilet is detached from the main bathroom, so you would need to walk across the room to wash your hands. An unusual layout, but manageable. The room would also benefit from a full-length mirror nearby the entrance for those quick fit checks. Service: This is where the Aviary truly shines. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were outstanding. Special Thanks to Bunron, Samanng, Soury, Vanda, Tola, and especially Miss B. Saren, who went above and beyond to resolve a tricky situation involving a 'lost' phone. Her professionalism and care made a lasting impression. Value: At $100-150 a night, the pricing aligned with other 4-star hotels in the area. What elevates this property to a true 4-star experience is the exceptional service and overall ambiance. Conclusions: The Aviary Hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and hospitality. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

I was extremely satisfied with our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Cambodia. First and foremost, the service was exceptionally attentive. Despite being a bit of a distance from Pub Street, they offered free tuk-tuk service, which only required a reservation. Furthermore, whether we were checking in, checking out, or simply returning to the hotel for a short break, staff members would always greet us at the entrance with jasmine-scented cold towels and iced water. The dining experience was also unforgettable. The chef was particularly kind and engaging, always interacting with us after serving the food to ask if it was to our liking. On mornings when we had to rush for our itinerary, the hotel staff would proactively pack the food we needed, including two delicious iced coffees, which was incredibly thoughtful. Lastly, the in-room experience was fantastic. Even though air conditioning isn't common in many places in Siem Reap, the hotel consistently ensured our room was perfectly cool, making for a truly pleasant stay. I only wish I had brought more cash to give the staff more tips to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

Last year, I stayed at the Golden Temple Hotel and absolutely loved the service and atmosphere. This year, I decided to book the Golden Temple Retreat, and my stay was just as comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests. They arranged a tuk-tuk for us to visit the temples and a wonderful Apsara dance dinner, which was held at the hotel restaurant. We were absolutely thrilled with the performance. We also tried the hotel's spa program and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel itself and its grounds are beautifully decorated in a traditional style. It's a place of peace and relaxation. I highly recommend any of the Golden Temple chain hotels for your stay in Siem Reap. I will definitely be back; I already miss Siem Reap, Angkor, and the Golden Temple!

We were welcomed with complimentary juice and snacks upon arriving at the hotel. They had a scent reminiscent of Cambodia and were delicious. The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel offered a variety of tours, which could be booked at the front desk by the day before, making it very convenient. We joined two tours arranged by the hotel, and both were fantastic. The price was also reasonable. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the services and the cost.

Everything felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully prepared, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was excellent. Breakfast was always fresh, and the swimming pool became our favorite place to cool down after sightseeing around Siem Reap.

There were almost no insects by the pool. I was surprised. Very clean. Even after checking out, you can still use the pool or shower. It was really helpful for me to be able to use it. All the employees are friendly and have refreshing smiles. The owner I'm from France, so there were a lot of French users. The fried rice for breakfast was also delicious.

Absolutely loved our stay at Shintana La Maison. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and designed with great attention to detail. The atmosphere feels very relaxing and elegant, making it the perfect place to escape the busy city and enjoy a more authentic Cambodian experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and the overall design of the property is stunning. What made the stay even more special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The pool area is gorgeous, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the temples. If you’re visiting Siem Reap and looking for a boutique hotel that combines luxury, tranquility, and genuine hospitality, Shintana La Maison is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again.

At Metta Residence & Spa, what makes the experience truly special is not only the beautiful property itself, but above all the people who work there. The staff stand out through their exceptional attentiveness, genuine warmth, and remarkable kindness. From the very first moment, you feel welcomed and well cared for, as every request is met with a smile and a personal touch. It is this combination of a lovely setting and heartfelt service that makes a stay there so memorable.

I wasn't able to rent a motorcycle successfully. I guess sometimes communication with the hotel doesn't go smoothly when booking through a third party. It's a shame because it's a good hotel, and I should have double-checked everything myself. I think the hotel's internal information sharing is quite good, though. For this price range, the customer service standards are outstanding.

4-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night! The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap. But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)! The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude. So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.
