2-Star Hotels in Jianyang

Just to be factual, this hotel is in jianyang, so it's quite out of the way from Chengdu city center, not close to any attractions whatsoever, hence the 3 star rating for location (relative to Chengdu city). So start getting busy on your bicycle! Breakfast is really simple, just buns, porridge and small local side dishes. One would probably spend at most 20mins. A bit of a smoky smell when I entered my room, but I'm a single male traveller - can't be bothered. I chose jianyang because I was stopping over for 1 night and wanted to see something a bit different from the usual Chengdu when I last visited Chengdu almost 25yrs ago! So this hotel is right on the bank of the tuo river, plenty of activities to observe the local residents and also to relax in the evening if you want to. Food is not a problem, plenty of restaurants left and right. Would recommend visiting the public museum at 人民路 to understand more about the history of jianyang, then stopover at the nearby shop selling lamb soup - I thought it was pretty darn good. Apparently this is the origin city of 海底捞？don't expect anything fantastic, just a nice place (seems like a residential estate) to wind down. I think jianyang is good for a one day stay and walkabout, this hotel fits the bill well. Not expensive too. Also remember to use the free pickup/dropoff after booking! Cheers

This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating! What impressed me the most was how clean and tidy the room was, and the incredibly attentive service. When I checked in, the front desk staff proactively helped me with my luggage and even gave me a detailed rundown of the best local restaurants. The room itself was cozy and inviting, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The front desk was super quick to respond to any requests. This stay was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place first next time I'm in town!

The room is very cozy, with clean linens and toiletries. A phone charger is provided. Drinks, pastries, and snacks are available for purchase at reception and in the surrounding area. The staff is very attentive and helpful, and they are happy to answer any questions. They speak excellent English and can arrange transfers from the airport to the hotel and back, both at night and during lunchtime (the ride is 5-10 minutes). Зарядное устройство для телефона предоставляется. На ресепшене и в округе можно приобрести напитки, булочки и снеки для перекуса. Персонал очень чуткий и отзывчивый и помогают во всех вопросах. Прекрасно говорят на английском, помогают с трансфером от аэропорта до отеля и обратно как в ночное время, так и в обеденное, ехать 5-10 минут. За свои деньги отличное место, рекомендуем👍

The environment was nice, with a courtyard. The pick-up service was also good, but there was a strange smell as soon as I opened the door. The courtyard downstairs was noisy very early in the morning, with construction noise and loud talking. The night before, I saw a ”Do Not Disturb” sign in the room and hung it on the doorknob to remind the housekeeping staff that someone was inside and not to come. However, the next morning around 9 am, we were woken up by the housekeeping staff's loud and urgent knocking. Just as we got up to see what was going on, they broke down the door, startling us. Seriously, what is your hotel doing? Is the management so chaotic? Guests haven't even checked out, and you don't even notify the housekeeping staff before breaking down the door so early in the morning—is that appropriate? Guests staying at hotels near the airport are either travelers catching flights the next day or arriving late at night like us. Don't you have any sense of service or respect? There's no privacy at all. We locked the door, and they just opened it whenever they wanted. What a piece of junk! And I clearly hung a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the doorknob the night before, but they ignored it. I'm really angry. I was so sleepy, and I was woken up by this noisy knocking and the cleaning staff breaking in. I'm speechless.

We needed a hotel to spend one night before we could go to Chengdu CTU airport for Shenzhen, the receptionist was helpful even though we had a language barrier luckily wechat was there for rescue, the rooms were decent however to our surprise the room had ******** locked in a box which I had to hide because we had kids, its a basic hotel, bed was comfortable for a night, staff even arranged a taxi for us to goto a hotpot restaurant, which was delicious, the hotel is bit out of the way, hotel condition is bit rundown, it is roughly 15 mins drive from the airport but the driver was polite they offer free pick and drop.

It was already past midnight when I landed. I called the hotel, and the car arrived shortly after, with the driver even helping me with my luggage. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly genuine; during check-in, she thoughtfully reminded me to close the window and told me to call her anytime if I needed anything. The room was cleaner than I expected. The sheets felt very comfortable, and the bathroom tiles were spotless – I could walk barefoot on them without getting any dust on my feet. Even the showerhead was wiped clean, with no watermarks. For just over a hundred yuan, to get a room like this, the value for money is simply outstanding. The air conditioning set to 24 degrees was perfect, and the WiFi was fast enough to stream videos without any buffering. There were plenty of outlets by the bed, so charging my phone and power bank simultaneously was no issue at all. The next day, I had an early morning flight. I came downstairs at 5:30 AM, and the car was already waiting for me. When traveling, all you want is a hassle-free experience. This place not only offers free airport transfers and clean rooms, but the staff are also incredibly kind. I will definitely be back next time.

The hotel was good , clean. Staffs were friendly and good. 24 hrs airport pick up and drop off service. Picked me from airport at 2.30 am in the morning. It was much more than my expectation for the price. The hotel is in a rural area away from the hustles of the city. I really enjoyed my stay.

Place is clean & quiet . Will stay here again . Hotel gave free shuttle to airport which is what we wanted . Food is good . Bed is clean and comfty...

I booked this hotel because i had an early flight. The room was really nice and clean. The receptionist spoke english and helped with everything. In the morning they even arranged transport for us for free to the airport and the breakfast was also nice. In the end i would really like to appreciate the hotel staff as we forgot some stuff at the hotel which when we contacted them they parcelled to us in shanghai. Overall the experience was great and i would highly recommend.

This is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us. The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
