The owner of Heyuan Yaju Guesthouse personally picked us up from the high-speed rail station. The guesthouse is quite a distance from Dongfengyun, but the rooms were spacious and very clean. A huge shout-out to the guesthouse owner for the freshly cooked chicken soup rice noodles she made every morning – they were absolutely delicious and incredibly fragrant. It's very close to Banxia Hot Springs, just a few minutes' walk away, and the nearby lakeside scenic area is also within walking distance. A restaurant nearby, recommended by the owner, was delicious, clean, and inexpensive, with a sophisticated ambiance.
