It is a bright and convenient accommodation ideally located in the heart of the village.Our flat which is part of a small block built in 1600 has belonged to our family for several generations. We renovated it in 1995 and 2022 keeping in mind its romantic and Lombard aspect.Are you tired and stressed out ? Get outside in nature, take advantage of the many local footpaths nearby ! Whether you are looking for tranquil woodland paths, water's edge or lazy lakeside walks, hill-top or tough tree-fringed hikes or just being surrounded by nature, Menaggio is a great place to start and definitely a delightful base for exploring lake Como! WE WILL HELP YOU PREPARE YOUR ARRIVAL AND YOUR STAY. WE LIKE HIKING (HAVE A LOOK AT OUR PHOTOS) AND CAN ADVISE YOU ! The living/dining room is open plan to the kitchen (but separated by an arc and two steps.). 2 comfortable armchairs make a perfect « aperitivo » space around a dining table. The main church of Menaggio and a playing ground for children (used only during school time) are located 50 m from the house.Free parking is often a bit a challenge, it is first come- first served. You can double-park when unloading the car, no problem. There are other free spots Piazza Rimembranze, via Armando Diaz or Via Roma near the Lido (about 400 meters), it is a 7 mn walk :).Please note : white lines = free parking, blue lines = on payment, this applies everywhere in the village. The best way to get around Menaggio is to use public transport: the nearest bus stop is 50 meters away and the ferry station is very close too (350 m). The nearby shops and restaurants are definitely a great advantage !
