GGuest UserThe landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home.
We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.

AAnonymous UserI am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel.
. I am writing to complain the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge.
Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone. So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line.
So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction.
I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.

??……..?It’s the best for a person who has overnight layover! Like they are trained for that specifically.
Free shuttle bus any time is real! But I couldn’t contact them by email though. Gotta call them, hope they fix that, I emailed a lot prior to my trip too.
And the staffs are so kind that it made me feel safe and secure that I will not miss my flight 😌
If you have to leave early for flight before breakfast time. They will give you muffins and apples!
The room was so big and nice, I wish I didn’t have the flight to catch so I can keep sleeping in that humungous king bed.
There’s an atm at the lobby.

GGuest UserI really enjoyed staying at this hotel near the airport.
They had a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It was actually a direct bill between Associated Checker Cab Company and the hotel, but no matter. It was very convenient and easy for me to use. My room was on the fourth floor and its hallway noise was minimal. The front desk agents were nice and professional. I had them call a taxi for me a couple of times to go downtown. I really liked the breakfast attendant, a young Asian man. He was smiling, friendly, and seemed to enjoy his job. Breakfast had a lot of choices and hot food (eggs and turkey sausages) tasted really good. It was served buffet style so you cannot leave hungry. The breakfast area was very clean and maintained. Coffee was hot (medium roast) and tasted fresh with a slight nutty flavor. The breakfast buffet was busy when I came downstairs, but I didn't have to wait very long. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. For the price paid, it was very good quality. Just keep mind, if you do take a taxi cab to downtown area for sightseeing, plan on $40 one way after including a tip.

NNicoleFUnfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We booked our stay through Trip.com and paid for a room with specific requirements. When we arrived, we were given a room that did not match what we had paid for.
The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. He refused to give us the correct room at first and even stated that he did not know the Trip.com platform at all, which is very concerning for a hotel that accepts reservations through it. On top of that, his attitude made us feel as if we were “lucky” to be given the room we had already paid for, which is completely unacceptable.
The way the situation was handled showed poor communication skills and a lack of professionalism. Between the issue with the reservation and the attitude of the front desk staff, the experience was frustrating and stressful.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are booking through third-party platforms like Trip.com.

AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel for my trip to Banff! It took a little under 2.5 hours to drive to Lake Louise, leaving at 5 AM. Since I rented a car, I was very satisfied with the accommodation. However, I don't think it would feel close to the airport without a rental car. It was great that I could walk to McDonald's and Tim Hortons, and there was also a swimming pool!

AAnonymous UserThe stay was okay, we liked the pool and breakfast part. Some staff are just un approachable. The fire alarm went off at 2am (false alarm). Fire department arrived, We got worried and called the reception she answered dismissively “it will turn off soon please stay in your room!” It took 30-40 mins for the alarm to stop.

GGuest UserI was a bit nervous after reading some other reviews, but I need not have been. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows plentiful. My 11 year old grandson, who visited during my stay, gives the pool and waterside a huge thumbs up. His mother, sister and I enjoyed the hot tub while he splashed alone.
Breakfast was a bounty! Although I am limited by multiple food allergies, I found more than enough to eat and enjoyed my 2 breakfasts.
When I first arrived in my assigned room, I discovered a tool on the floor and a dismantled A/C unit. Before I had time to wonder, a repairman was at the door, apologetic that I had arrived before he could complete his maintenance. He immediately arranged for me to switch to a different room, and all was well.
Desk staff were all cordial, helpful, friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay and highly recommend others to ignore naysayers and give it a try. I would be happy for a return visit if opportunity arises. Many thanks for a great stay.
