Overall, this stay was very good. We originally booked into Hotel 1, but the owner was very considerate and proactively upgraded us to Hotel 2 free of charge. I came to Qionghai to enjoy the sun and beaches, and chose this City Comfort Inn as my base. Its convenient location was a huge plus! The hotel environment is bright and spotless, making a great first impression. The room decor was cozy, with meticulous attention to cleanliness, and the bedding was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. The front desk staff were all smiles, which made me feel very welcome. We enjoyed a 4 night stay here and would definitely stay here again. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, as an English couple who spoke no Chinese the staff were going that extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, after 4 months of travelling through South East Asia the were by far the best. We ate dinner there twice and the fresh seafood tasted amazing, cooked perfectly by the lady owner each time. The hotel is just over 2 km from the fishing village where most of the shops and restaurants are, but the lady owner again came to our rescue and gave us her electric motorbike so that we could travel around.
