3-Star Hotels in Malaga

On the first day, it felt a bit far walking from the station, but it was still within 15 minutes at a relaxed pace. The check-in process was very smooth. I booked a single pod, which was perfectly sufficient for sleeping. If I wanted to relax, work, or just chill out, I'd go to the common room. There's a 24/7 coffee machine with a great variety of free drinks. After checking in, I realized the location is excellent and perfectly met my needs – bustling yet quiet, and very convenient. For eating out or buying groceries, there are plenty of options within 100 meters of stepping out. All the attractions are within walking distance, so there's no need to worry about transportation. Overall, the price isn't expensive, but the facilities, service, and location are all excellent.

Asked for someone to meet me at the accomodation and was greeted by the friendly Agnes and Marcos. Agnes showed me to my room and brought me around to show me the mini kitchen that has Nespresso machine, dishwasher, microwave and utensils. Found my room very pleasant, clean. Worth the stay. Only negative is the Nespresso machine needs some cleaning/maintenance. I tested the machine without putting in a pod and found brown water coming out with particles. I did not make a drink from it. Otherwise, my 2 nights stay was good. Even arranged a taxi for me to the airport.

Fully self-service check-in and check-out. I downloaded the app in advance and unlocked the room door with just my phone. When checking out, I just clicked on the app to check out. The location is a bit out of the way, on a small side street with few shops nearby. However, ordering takeout from Uber Eats was convenient. I didn't know there was one in Malaga's Old Town until after I booked. Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose the Old Town location for more convenient dining and shopping. The room was smaller than I expected, but it was more than enough for three people. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and a microwave, and there was a welcome gift upon arrival. I left a coat in the room, and although I couldn't return to retrieve it, it would have been much better service if the hotel had contacted me. Of course, for a serviced apartment, it was clean and tidy, which was quite good!

The staff is very friendly and the location is good. I booked a twin room, but they upgraded me to a triple room?? I booked a room without a view, and I understand that there is no view, but the window could not be opened properly. During quarantine during the corona period, the window opens just enough to let in air. Also, there is an opaque sheet on the window, so it feels like I am in a motel, not a hotel. The staff was very friendly, but why,,, again???ㅎㅎ

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location within 100m of a train station and easy walking distance (10-ish minutes) into town. Room was nice and modern, shower was great. Only downside was that the street-facing room could be quite noisy, particularly due to the rubbish collections at 1/2am. Otherwise an excellent hotel.

We reserved the loft and we had high expectation with the accommodation given that the photos and reviews were great. In reality, everything was great as expected including cleanliness, location and amenities. It is very close to Malaga Cathedral, and the room environment is decently refurbished. However, the service is not up to standard. First of all, we arrived early and requested for an early check-in. However, the request cannot be fulfilled. Second, there was no luggage storage within the facility and we had no choice but to spend extra money for nearby lockers. Third, the check-in service is all set up and processed via online check-in form and WhatsApp. The contact persons are not helpful as our requests were not fulfilled. No early check-in, no luggage storage and no real-person concierge. Also, the Wi-Fi password is too complicated and the room access requires the hotel Wi-Fi connection. The mobile connection is weak for the area. Overall, the accommodation was great, but the guest service has a big room of improvement.

This was my second stay at Casa de la Merced. The location is great, the apartments are very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Malaga.

A budget studio apartment located on campus, it can be noisy! Teenage vibes and nice atmosphere, everyone is helpful. My room was clean, with ample towels and clean linen. Unfortunately no hairdryer or kettle in the room, the description didn't advertise them either. Combination cooker, fridge, TV all as new. There is a shared kitchen available for guests to use. 24/7 also tea, coffee and snacks available 24/7 located in the cafeteria in the vending machines. Excellent food cooked freshly daily in the student cafeteria. 😊 Super

Líbere runs an excellent facility with comfortable beds and wonderful location perfectly positioned in old town Màlaga. Staff were friendly helpful and competent. A minor ding for the apartment missing a few basic items that we have had in other longer-stay apartments, and this is a company policy. We would stay here again.
