GGuest UserI had booked the family apartment few weeks ago to attend my nephew’s engagement party 5 mins away at Bates cafe. Initially I loved the set up, space and first impression until night time when we returned from the party to sleep. The room that my mum was sleeping had bed bug on the duvet and we later on we could see blood stains on the bed sheet overhang. Mum had already got bitten by the bed bug and had allergic reaction for few days. Both mum and I are allergic to bed bugs and specially me. Therefore, I couldn’t risk sleeping on the bed. I had to move into the other room with another family. I was trying to reach the room service for some more bed sheets but couldn’t at that time of the night. While checking out I had speaking raised my concern and I was told by the checkout lady that they had fumigated just last week. That’s beside the point, we shouldn’t be paying to be bitten by bed bugs.

LLWHHThe staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a great location—right by the beach, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. There's also a convenient store nearby with a restaurant upstairs that serves delicious food.
Our deluxe room was clean but near the main entrance so a bit noisy at times. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower took a long time to produce hot water, resulting in wasted water and often uncomfortably cold showers. The water pressure was also quite low. Additionally, there was no shelf near the sink to place toiletries like toothpaste, which made things a bit inconvenient.

Mmomo196405I went for breakfast at 6:15 AM on the 20th, after being told it started at 6 AM. When I asked the omelet station attendant to make an omelet, she had just poured herself a cup of coffee and told me to come back later. Five minutes later, no one was there, and then she returned another five minutes after that and finally took my order. She made it, but without a smile, seeming rather annoyed. If this is the case, it would be better to just state that breakfast starts at 6 AM, but omelets aren't available until after 6:30 AM.

GGuest UserHelpful, happy and friendly staff who were there to greet us when we arrived on the complimentary shuttle bus that picked us up from the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very good air-conditioning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings throughout the whole place. Good breakfast provided and the dinner menu had a good selection and we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant staff were excellent. Happy, cheerful, and quick service. The pool was clean with plenty of areas to sit and relax or have a refreshing swim. The front desk were happy to call a taxi if needed.

GGuest UserA large group of us stayed here. Wailoaloa Beach is fine for a couple of days, but wouldn't recommend a long stay. We wanted a base for day trips. Our room was a suite with a sea view. The furniture needs upholstery cleaned. Had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

GGuest UserCheck in was after 3pm, check out 10:30 , and you have to get the towel from the reception. Too many rules plastered in the room as if you are going to rob them. A deposit of FJD50 in cash is required (no drinks in the room whatsoever, just instant coffee). I asked if I can check out before 12nn but was allowed only up to 11am. When I went back to get my luggage, the lady told me that I was supposed to have checked out already, without even asking if I already did. Only the cleaning staff were helpful. Would not recommend.

余余The hotel is 4 Fiji coins from the town, walking for more than 20 minutes, there are two in the town, Chinese restaurants, you can have a real treat. The hotel's swimming pool is very beautiful, there are slides, the service is very good, just found the living room is very dark, call the service desk, immediately sent someone to take the light bulb to change, the security and engineering staff are very good & #128077 The kitchen only has a microwave and a bowl, a fork spoon, no pot blade, we need to cut the pineapple, and after talking to the service desk, we quickly went to the kitchen and gave us a loan.
