3-Star Hotels in Karatsu

My trip to Karatsu was decided at the last minute, so I made a reservation on the same day. When they realized I was a woman, they made sure no men were staying in the two adjacent rooms. I had only planned on a room-only stay, but I was pleasantly surprised to find sandwiches and coffee included. They also informed me about the express bus service before my departure. I had a very pleasant stay. Next time, I'd like to try the large public bath.

The location of the B&B is very good. It is a Japanese-style residence and room layout. It is the home of the old Tangjin and has a sense of history. We stayed in the room ”loose”, very large, facing the beach and the sea, very quiet. The service is meticulous. The dinner is full, and the taste is very good. The bath is an indoor pool (not a hot spring but it is as clean as it is). Japanese breakfast is relatively simple, but it is not bad. The overall feeling is very comfortable, although the facilities are old, but the location, history, service, and catering of the house are enough to make up for the lack of facilities, and the whole is very clean and tidy.

前台不懂英文的、我訂了BBQ晚歺, 入住時前台说不提供，要我们去超市買食材再回来，幸好，在房间里發现巳預備了食品，只是職員不知道詳情，我已把印好的＜日文＞訂单给他看，他还是说没有，當時巳很晚，我也駕车了一整天，这样的誤会真不好受！

Family and I really liked our stay at Ninestates Karatsu. It was clean, well maintained and family friendly. Location was fine though traffic on the road in front of the hotel is usually busy in the morning and evening. Parking could be a little challenging if the carpark is almost full and you drive a larger car. Not many food options within walking distance, so it could be easier for those who drive.

I went to Seiriki for the first time after reading the reviews. The live swordtip squid was small but delicious and so fresh that the suction cups on the squid's tentacles stuck to the soy sauce dish and the whole dish was lifted up. The food was just as delicious as the reviews said. The only disappointment was that the season for Q mackerel was over in mid-July. I'd like to go again. Thank you to the proprietress for driving me to the bus stop in her car.
