"We had a great time here at Hotel Palace. The hotel itself is close to all attractions (walking distance) and also easy to reach by bus.
Other than expected, we could check in earlier than 5pm (which I found pretty late) without charging anything!
Also, all facilities were super clean and the room itself quite big.
As others already mentioned, everyone can use the cafeteria to make ramen, coffee and get water FOR FREE - liked this a lot.
Breakfast was simple but good (toast, jam, peanut butter, Joghurt, fruit) and I think if you come prior to guests taking everything for themselves- there will be enough from everything also for you.
I fully recommend this place- only thing which would be great were big towels for showers."

"The room is really small, just like in the picture, but there is a place to sit, a dressing table?, a closet, and a bathroom (regular size), so it was comfortable to use.
The interior of the entire building, including the guest room, was neat and pretty, and the heating was individually controlled, which was nice.
The outside of the window is almost completely covered by the wall exterior, and there is no view because it is close to the building in front. There is no elevator, and the stairs are narrow, so it would be difficult if you bring a heavy carrier. We had backpacks, so it didn't matter.
And it was nice that we could eat breakfast without paying extra. It had a cafe-like atmosphere for eating? The number of seats was also there.
The menu had toast, cheese, ham, butter, strawberry jam, cereal (corn frosting and Chex Choco), and several drinks. It was a good composition for a simple breakfast."

"I arrived in Gyeongju early, but I was able to enjoy it comfortably because they helped me with parking and luggage storage. It is near Hwangridan-gil and there are many convenience stores and other amenities nearby, so I can look around comfortably. The room was clean, and most of all, the breakfast was great. It was clean and had all the necessary Western and Korean food, so I could have a full meal, and when I checked out, I could press the parking standby button and quickly pull my car out, which was convenient. Recommended"

"The rooms are small but I can see why this place gets so many favorable reviews.
The televisions are the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room. Mounted to the wall to get an ideal viewing angle. This must've cost a fortune. Wifi worked great so streaming YouTube from phone to TV was seamless. Rooms are simple but look and smell new. Smart toilet included. Breakfast was delicious but be prepared to cook and do your own dishes. The terrace and rooftop are beautiful touches. Staff was enthusiastic.

This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Gyeongju hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.
"It's a 10-minute walk from Bulguksa Temple and is an unintel, but the problem will be solved immediately if you just call. It was spacious and clean, and the bathtub whirlpool was the best.
I had all the amenities, so I didn't have to prepare anything.
NetFlex.Wi-Fi is all available, parking space is spacious, and there are all inside.
I paid for a TV VOD movie and I couldn't see it because of a server error.
The boss applied for cancellation.
The price is good and it is a place worth coming back.
The scenery of Buguksa Temple was so nice and the weather was nice, so the photos were so pretty and it was a pleasant trip.
Unfortunately, due to the strange climate, even though it is the first week of November, the maple trees are green, so autumn maple leaves will be seen in Damju."

AAnonymous UserStayed in a duplex. Size was cozy for 4A2C. Top floor has 2 single beds. Bottom floor had 1 queen and 1 super single. Small kitchen, has an outdoor patio for BBQ (host will setup fire for you, grill is provided foc). There was one free laundry wash (owner washes for you)per visit. We stayed 4nights and was struggling a little, especially in winter. Would have preferred for them to have one washer/dryer for guests to do own laundry.
Service was prompt and owner (retired couple) was friendly, ever ready to assist.

GGuest UserIt was a newly built accommodation so it was very clean and I was thankful that the owner couple took care of everything for me!! When I said I was going to eat jajangmyeon, they gave me green onion kimchi and sweet potato kimchi that they made themselves and it was really deliciousㅎㅎ There is no place where you can solve the problem of a pool, cypress, breakfast, and dinner for this price!! When we talked about the ocean, they even took us to the ocean and told us to go play, which I was really thankful for^^ We will definitely keep our promise to come back again. Stay healthy, owner~~

AAngelineOverall this is a nice place to stay for 1 night. Location is just outside the main visitor area which is good for us because we don’t mind the walk as exercise to walk off the food we eat. Owners are great! Very friendly and surprise each guest with simple breakfast to start of the day even though we didn’t asked for breakfast to be included. Only small inconvenience is our room didn’t come with on-suite bathroom and we have to use our bathroom at the yard which is what Koreans used to do in olden times when bathrooms are outside of the main house. It’s quite an interesting experience for me to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the yard in pitch black darkness looking for slippers to wear and running to the bathroom 😜

GGuest UserThis is an interesting hotel. The room was very big, there was a PC setup for online gaming, along with a big TV. There was a bathtub with Jacuzzi function along with an extra shower beside it. The hotel is also located very close to the intercity and express bus terminals, as well as bus stops to go to all of the tourist locations. The only downside to the hotel was that the bed was a bit stiff, likely due to it being an adult-oriented hotel, and that there were no large towels and I had to use multiple small towels to dry after bathing.

DDANDANGyeongju is hot, but it is really beautiful. The hotel is a private holiday house located in the village with a beautiful environment. It is recommended to take a taxi. The address is shown in the figure. You can show the last address written by the driver's master, otherwise it may not be easy to find. Arrived 1 hour early and failed to check in early, so I went out to play directly. The luggage was already in the room at night. The room was large and comfortable. There is still some distance from the entrance of the village to the holiday house, and it is an uphill road. There are many small restaurants at the entrance of the village. 711 can recharge the T-Money card. 700 bus can go to Bulguk Temple, Donggong Yuechi, etc. very convenient. It is also convenient to take a taxi at the entrance of the village. It takes about half an hour to take a taxi to the Shin Gyeongju High Speed Rail Station.

Be aware the check in is 10pm - much later than others.
The room itself was fine, very happy and wanted to extend, but the staff member insisted checking out, then coming back at 10pm, even with extension.
When I asked him, he said “it’s not my business”. Terrible attitude. He then tried to charge 20,000 cash for keeping the “free upgrade” I was given. No idea why you give with one hand and take with the other.
Had to complain and argue and even still they refused refund for second day. Took me 3 hours or messaging to get money back. Just avoid. Sadly a great place, location so so but the staff member we dealt with was the worst person I’ve met in Korea.

GGuest UserLocated in the ancient city of Qingzhou, the yard is very large and beautiful. The room is Korean-style without beds and chairs, sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is clean but the facilities are very primary, and the shower nozzle water is relatively small. Very suitable for tourists who want to experience the Korean-style homestay. The front desk was very good. We lost our mobile phone. We took us to the police station to communicate with the police. Finally, we found it. I was very grateful.

GGuest UserPros: Spacious two-floor space. Quiet and wonderful place to relax. The very large private pool and the public pool is nice. The view in the back is of fields. There is a private outdoor seating for every room. book rooms 4,5, or 6 for better views.
Cons: A little out of the town. Cabs are easy to get unless it is raining or late a night. Suggestions for the hotel: please arrange for simple breakfast. There are no close by places to eat. The coffee shop opens at 10 am. Also please provide bath towels instead of just hand towels. The bed was small and very hard. The bedroom is very large so a larger bed would be nice.
With a better bed and a provision for breakfast, I would stay here again.
