3-Star Hotels in Moalboal

We absolutely loved it! Of course, I want to say upfront that you shouldn't expect luxury from hotels in this area. Moalboal is a village, after all. But we were prepared for that, so overall we really enjoyed our stay. At the time of booking, there was only one room left for our dates – the pink one. It doesn't have a sea view, nor does the room across the street. It's also slightly smaller than the two rooms facing the veranda. But that didn't spoil the experience; it's simply an incredible feeling to be able to step out onto the veranda and descend into the warm sea with millions of sardines! The à la carte breakfasts, served in the neighboring house and prepared especially for you, were also very good. Unfortunately, we only attended two of the four because of excursions. The only issue I had was that there was only one proper electrical outlet in the room, and it was located behind a closet in an inaccessible place. The other sockets were so loose that to insert a European charger into them so that it would hold, you had to press it down with a nightstand.

Excellent hotel! The rooms are cozy, and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the grounds are well-maintained too. The location isn't the most convenient if you're on foot, but the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot. They also offer scooters at a very good price – cheaper than renting them 'on the street'. When we arrived, all the scooters were taken, but the girls at the reception suggested a company they work with, and everything was delivered right to the hotel for us. When a hotel scooter became available, we took that. They also helped us with tours. We initially booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another 3. By the way, the transfer from the hotel is also more cost-effective than arranging it yourself. The hotel owners, Nick and Raquel, are very kind and open-hearted; it was a real pleasure and very interesting to chat with them. Abigail and the other girls are also positive and always ready to help. At this hotel, you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Thank you! We would be very happy to stay with you again!)

Good for diving in Moalboal, its neptune diving shop are downstairs, only 10 metres away from the coast. But of course, the location is at the end of the street. a bit far from the main street restaurants but it just a 5-10mins walk, acceptable . But it is noisy at night, because it is facing a night club . can hear shouting and music from my room till 2-3am.... the hotel restaurant downstairs but my booking didn't include the breakfast , buy separately will be around 200-300 peso. Air conditioning is not cool enough. no tooth brush ,paste and hair dryer provided. And the water is hardwater, you can buy bottle water yourself. we arrived late, needed to climb to the top (3rd floor). the staff also helped to take the luggage. The hotel provided car pick up service from Cebu Mactan airport 3000peso 3-4hrs. provided Kawasan fall Canoyeering with transport ticket and lunch 2500 per person (4hrs) with ”Nancy Kawasan shop”. Scuba Diving shore 1600peso with gear and dive master, called ”Ar-ink”, nice person.

The hotel is old. There are rotten parts in the pool area, and you could fall through the wooden floors. The hotel is far from the city center, and it's impossible to walk to any amenities. However, the hotel's cuisine is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the service is top-notch.

I had a pleasant stay at this hostel and really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the service was great, which made me feel welcome. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent — fast and reliable, perfect if you need to work during your stay. That said, there’s a little room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and amenities. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a fishy smell that could be addressed to make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, I’d recommend this place, especially for those who need good internet and friendly service, and I believe with a few improvements it could be even better.

We stayed for 1 night. Good location in the center, clean rooms. But the hotel is located next to bars and restaurants, so you can only fall asleep after 11. You can only sleep with earplugs, which the hotel wisely provides. If you plan to party all night, then this is an ideal hotel. If you want to rest after the road, then no.

Every service staff is very warm and generous, and the environment is natural and beautiful. At that time, I read everyone's comments 3.7 and I was very conflicted in my heart. There was no better choice for Mobao. I can only choose the hotel according to the price. I didn’t expect the hotel to give me a lot of amazing feelings. The sea is clear, the garden is beautiful, and there are diving facilities. Because of the time, we went to Wonderfall and couldn’t dive. The hotel is still relatively far from the city, and we are used to staying in the hotel, so we must scuba dive next time🤿. Food needs to be improved

The hotel's air conditioning is a proper AC unit, not just a cooler! It was so much quieter! Other places had noisy coolers that kept me from sleeping. The hotel front desk can also book tours with pick-up and drop-off, which is incredibly convenient... I wish I had known about this hotel sooner! Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay.. nice ac.. the staff are amazing..thank you.. They have large shared kitchen you can cook.. unique features.. around Moalboal..

Has a lot of potential. Location is good and staff were helpful in ordering Tuk tuks to the town and organising day trips. Unfortunately our shower kept going cold but they did do their best to sort it.
