3-Star Hotels in Sintra

The room is actually a fun mini-apartment with room, bathroom and kitchen with good rooms available. You would need some maintenance work (the shower door doesn't close well, walls a little ruined, unclean blind bath filter ...) General cleaning is good, it's a sin only for the heavy frit chest inside (we didn't understand if someone had cooked or came out of the outside, while keeping the windows open hasn't gone away). The host welcomed us with great gentleness speaking well in English. The location is very comfortable to reach the center area walking, but it is absolutely unrecommended to reach it in car. A few days before arrival we received a mail from LovelyStay.com that informed us that the historic center is forbidden to tourist cars and suggested a nearby way to parking. The road is narrow and with very few parkings on the road and the imposing on the navigator is not available. After more than 3 hours of searching for a parking with a kilometre-code we left the car in the station and paid a taxi to get to the facility (there is also the bus that arrives in the main square). Of course, traffic congestion is not the fault of those who manage the structure, but I believe that it is necessary to better inform those who need to reach it to avoid disturbances. Although we have left Lisbon in advance, we missed the entry to Quinta de Regaleira, which we unfortunately failed to see, and also lost the ticket money for two people.

More like a weekend holiday place, sit on the terrace for breakfast, facing the rolling hills, overlooking several of Sintra's main palaces and manors. The breakfast is rich, especially the bread is still hot, the taste is excellent, it is said to be ordered from the country workshops. 10 minutes walk from the center, the recommended restaurant is great. There is free parking. The city of Portugal seems to be not easy to drive in the city, climb and descend, drive by car parked in the hotel can walk or Uber to attractions and restaurants. Hotel service is also patient and provides the help you need. If summer can also swim in beautiful outdoors.

Great little room at the heart of Sintra. Room is clean and big enough for a small family. Within walking distance to the food, shops and services are the best!! Really enjoy the stay in this accommodation.

Hotel location is very good, very close to Sintra train station ~ convenient connection to Sintra! The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic, giving us a detailed explanation of the local gameplay ~ there is a small balcony next to the restaurant!

Good place for a business trip to stay for a short time. It was a pleasurable experience.

It is difficult to park near several castle attractions in Sintra, so I chose this homestay in a residential area, behind which is a large public free parking lot and restaurants. Although the room is facing the street, it is not noisy. It is still quiet at night. The area is small but the sanitation and facilities are OK. It is not far to walk up the mountain to Pena Palace, but if you come back from the Regalera Palace, don't walk. The two kilometers uphill road is too tired. There should be a bus.

L'hotel si trova nel paesino di Colares: il centro del paese è a circa 2 km dall'albergo e offre diversi ristoranti e un buon supermercato della catena Continente: è un ottimo punto di partenza per chi voglia visitare le località di Sintra, Cascais. Estori, Cabo de Rocal o per le spiagge vicine. Dispone di parcheggio privato, ma i posti sono pochi. La struttura è molto bella ed i punti di forza sono sicuramente la sala comune con biliardo e pianoforte, la terrazza e l'incantevole giardino nel quale riposarsi. La camera nel complesso, purtroppo, è inferiore al resto dell'albergo: arredamento datato ed un po' kitsch (il comodino era letteralmente un tronco d'albero che a mala pena sosteneva la lampada, perciò non potevi appoggiare neppure il cellulare...) e bagno assolutamente da rivedere soprattutto i sanitari vecchi e a la doccia pericolosa con il piano che sembrava sprofondare. Buona, comunque, la pulizia e la qualità del sonno con letto comodo e nessun rumore (la stanza affacciava sul giardino) Buona e abbondante la colazione con tutto il necessario dal dolce al salato. Una nota positiva va allo staff: sono tutti molto cordiali e gentili. Nel complesso buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo tenuto conto della zona e consigliato per chi viaggia in auto
