3-Star Hotels in Koh Phangan

A wonderful beach hotel! The grounds aren't huge, but they're very green and well-maintained. The bungalows are super cozy and charming. From any bungalow, it's no more than a 1-minute walk to the beach. There's a restaurant on-site serving both European and Thai cuisine. For breakfast, I even found oatmeal with mango! The beach is beautiful and long enough for a nice stroll. The sand is incredibly soft and fine. It does get a bit shallow at low tide. There's a Seven-Eleven about a 7-minute walk from the hotel along the main road.

Firstly of all let's start from the people who make this hotel wonderful. The receptionists are turbo friendly, helpful and doing their all best to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. I would like to thank than once again for all what they have done during our stay. Secondly the hotel itself the rooms are nice and spacious we had a quadruple room which is absolutely perfect for a family. The beds are comfortable the AC works properly. It's clean. Thirdly location at the end of Haadrin which makes it actually good because you are close enough to easily join in any night or daytime activities but also far enough to not hear all the clubs and discos at night. There is a big swimming pool and bar in twin hotel next door

The hotel is located 1 km from the center of Koh Phangan. Nearby, there's a food court, 7-Eleven, Makro, and Big C. There's also a swimming pool, and the rooms are clean. The staff is polite. I recommend it.

The road to the hotel is not the easiest about 40 minutes from the pier, part of the road is on the road. But the hotel provides a free transfer, which makes the trip much more comfortable. But when you arrive, you understand that it was worth it: an incredibly beautiful beach, a tidy area, a pool, spacious and cozy rooms. Very atmospheric place, we liked everything!

Is a small resort hide just offside of the road. To enter wirh your car need careful driving as it is narrow and rough. Only few parking lot and should be enough afterall not too many drive a car in the island. Check in/out is easy. Speak good enough. Room at first glance is lovely but the first night is a nightmare since a lot of mosquitoes inbthe room and I need to but a mosquito coil to kill them and also the smoke killed us too. Aftet that, it is fine and evan though sometimes we may be bitten agian by the strong mosquitoes. No breakfast but you can use their utensils such as kettle, hot plate, microwave to cook. 30Thb to wash and a drying rack is located at the back of the room with sufficient hanger to hang and dry your clothes. A small swimming pool but I would dare to try. Walking distance to the night market/food stall.

This place was alright. It was directly right by the sea with a nice beach front. The waves were large and a lot of fun to swim in. You cannot check in early. The room is average, furniture is dated and the bed is hard. The reception takes a long time to check out. They check the room for every cup, towel and thing in the room before returning the 1000 baht deposit. There were many families there with loud, young children who wake up very early. If you don’t like this, it would be suggested to keep looking as it seemed to be very family oriented with rooms closely connecting. It felt like we were in the middle of a family or travelling group of friends with kids. Probably would pass on staying here again as there are better located and nicer places available in Ko Phagnan.

We booked a room with a balcony. When checking in, they gave us a terrible room with a view of the utility rooms, which smelled of dampness and was dark, we went to the reception and after that they moved us to a good room with a balcony and a view of the sea. The building itself is really strange, you can get lost. If you live, then only in a room with a balcony, but there are rooms with a view of the wall. You can call a taxi at the reception, but you need to bargain. They charge 150 baht to Tons of Rock. Also 150 to Mae Hada. It takes about an hour to get to Full Moon Party on Haad Rin, there from the hotel we were taken as a group in a minivan for 200, back for 400 (not from the hotel to Songoeo). Despite the 2nd floor, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast was paid for in advance, but you can buy it on the spot. The hotel is located at the end of the beach, but the beach is small, so it is not far to 7/11 and a cafe. We vacationed in May, there was low tide, the water was knee-deep.

There is so much to like and a few things to be warned about in this property. The first is that the location, Chaloklum beach, is very remote and will be difficult to get to from Thong Sala pier unless you are traveling with a large group. However, that remoteness is very much the appeal of this area for me, as it is once of the quietest beaches I’ve ever experienced. The second thing to note is that the hotel rooms shows it’s age, with a cracking bath tile for the jacuzzi and balcony doors that barely work. The hotel room only had one plug as well, and the hair dryer did not work. The last thing I will say though is that the view really is unbeatable; you open your curtains and see one of the most beautiful sights you can see.

Best consider this accomodation when going for the Full Moon Party! Service at reception incompetent.

The accommodation is quiet and peaceful. It is near the sea. The atmosphere is good. The room is spacious. There is a Smart TV to watch movies and listen to music comfortably. The price is good.
