GGuest UserI was in Savannah for depositions. If I am being honest, Planters Inn was not my first choice as I usually stay within the Hilton family. But those hotels were all booked. I was a little apprehensive having seen a few bad reviews, but chose Planters Inn because it was the closest to where I needed to be. to be. In hindsight, I am glad the Hilton properties were booked. The hotel has much more character than the other guys. Yes, the property shows its age, but it is well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I am used to at much higher priced hotels. The staff, however, is what makes the Planters Inn a real gem. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond with a few late-night tasks I needed to complete in preparation for my work the following day. I plan to return to Savannah with my wife in the near future as tourists (I had no real time for sightseeing on his trip), and when I do I will be staying at the Planters Inn.
XXiaobofengqiaoThe hotel is located in the historical and cultural district of Savannah, within walking distance to River Street and major attractions, and the Savannah Visitor Center is nearby. The surrounding area is one of Savannah's most distinctive street parks. The hotel consists of two three-story buildings (or four floors? I can't remember a little bit) and a few white houses in the pictures. We live in a white house, one bedroom and one living room have a kitchen, there are pots and bowls and other kitchen utensils to cook. Free parking is available on the roadside outside the back door of the hotel restaurant.
We arrived in the morning and the hotel let us check in early. Oh, how kind and welcoming the front desk staff who helped us check in that day! Thank her. I wish her a happy life!
2205239****It cost 2,000 yuan a night, but I couldn't fall asleep. The bed was incredibly soft, like sinking into it. The air conditioner next to the bed was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. Turning off the lights made the room stuffy, and the curtains couldn't be closed completely, only a sheer curtain. The outside light was shining from the bedside, and I couldn't sleep at all that night. I'm sorry for the 2,000 yuan a night.
AAnonymous UserGREAT STAFF! We were not aware of Savannah'a HUGE St Patrick's Day celebration and arrived to a city overflowing...but everyone was very helpful and made it possible for us to extend our stay. Our room was spacious and well appointed but the AC unit was very noisy and so close to the bed that we froze when it ran. The bed was comfy. The bathroom fixtures were ”loose” - needed some simple repairs and the elevator floor has some damaged tiles, but we would recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserWe booked the trip on Trip.com, prepaying. Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District charged us twice. We live in Florida. As soon as I realized this. I sent receipts and screenshots. I’ve been getting the run around from management for the past 4 days..Still no refund. Still no response from the different managers we’ve been told to call back to speak to..Keep calling back to see if he/ she is in.(Paul Komanecky or Lindsey Davis) We are very disappointed with the lack of customer service from management. We just want our money. The hotel was indeed paid twice…Is this normal?
GGuest UserThis store is very new and clean, the front desk staff is warm, there are carriages in the street not far away, surprised and happy 😃 a store that can stay at ease, thank you Ctrip! Ctrip's best choice!
GGuest UserThe hallway of the floor smelled very badly. My kids had to cover their noses. The breakfast was the worst I have experienced at an Embassy Suites. The dining room was dirty, there was barely any offerings, no yogurt, no bagels, no ice, no coffee, etc. It was a very poor breakfast. The front desk was not very friendly. I asked how to get to downtown Savannah, and they said they had no idea. My room had no blankets or pillows for the sofa bed, so I called the front desk. They made me go down at midnight to pick up the blanket and pillows. Overall, one of the poorest Embassy Suites we have stayed at.
HHUMAN_leo🍃Environment: The room facilities are not very old because it has been opened for less than three years. Normal wear and tear rate. The design of the building is very good. Compared with other downtown hotels, it is much quieter at night.
🚗 Transportation: The entrance is the station. It is very convenient for scad students to live here
🧹Hygienic: During the epidemic period, alcohol cotton pads will be provided for staying in. If the stay is connected, no daily cleaning service will be provided. Only the garbage and new bath towels will be taken out.
🔔Service: The service is still very good. If you have any requirements, the front desk will try its best to meet
GGuest UserGreat location, but $33/ day parking was a total surprise! Room was simple and clean, but mini refrigerator was very loud, and you could hear every little noise ( even footsteps on ground floor outside) plus you could hear the neighbor's TV clearly as well as everything they said. Bed was soft, but large divots from past guests. Very hard to get any sleep.
