4-Star Hotels in Zunyi

The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants downstairs, making dining and getting around very convenient. I specifically came here for the 'Four Crossings of the Chishui River Red Tour,' and Maotai Ferry and Hero Bridge are right downstairs, making the location truly exceptional. It was my first visit, and I had many questions about sightseeing. Qiankun Bao at the front desk patiently answered everything in detail. His service was thoughtful and meticulous, and I truly felt the staff's immense enthusiasm. Special thanks to him!

The location of the hotel is obvious and the transportation is convenient. The interior of the rooms is clean and bright, and the infrastructure is complete and intact. The staff was warm and responsive. The overall atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, and the stay is comfortable. It is recommended to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to the Miaowang Hotel, which was fantastic! The hotel is right in the heart of the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient to get around. It even has its own private access to the main attractions. From the balcony, I had a beautiful view of the stilt houses and the lush green mountains and rivers. The air in the mornings was so fresh, and in the evenings, I could enjoy the stunning night views and the drone show from my room. The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful, always eager to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast selection was pretty good and satisfying too.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and there are welcome cookies, fruits, yogurt and homemade pudding, which the children like very much. Transportation is convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Zunyi Conference Site, Red Army Street, Martyrs Cemetery and the ”Great Turning” immersive scene theater. You can see the Xiangjiang River and the Martyrs Cemetery from the room. Breakfast was very rich.

This hotel is located in the heart of Chishui city and appears to be quite new. Parking is very convenient and free of charge, which is a huge plus. The facilities and linens are all new and fresh. There was a slight new-construction smell, but it wasn't overwhelming. Initially, the air conditioning in our first room wasn't working properly and wouldn't cool down. After contacting the front desk, the staff member whose WeChat name was 'Yiyi' (一 一) was incredibly helpful. She quickly arranged for us to move to a room on the third floor. What's more, a staff member went ahead to the new room to turn on the AC and pre-cool it for us – excellent service! The new room had an outdoor balcony, which was perfect for smoking and enjoying the street view. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. One minor issue was that in the bathroom, only the overhead shower worked; the handheld shower attachment had no water flow. This might be something worth checking. The bathroom itself was a little on the narrow side. The hotel's location is great for exploring local eateries, easily accessible by foot or taxi. On a side note, when booking, I highly recommend choosing the package that includes complimentary tickets. It's incredibly cost-effective! Individual tickets for the Great Waterfall and Yanziyan are quite expensive, so getting two tickets to these main attractions included with each room is a fantastic deal. The breakfast wasn't particularly impressive. We went around 9 AM, and some dishes were already gone with no replenishment. However, upon check-out, 'Yiyi' from the front desk thoughtfully gave us a souvenir, which was a very kind and personal touch. Overall, the facilities are relatively new.

The hotel environment, facilities, hygiene services, and location are all excellent! The parking lot is spacious and convenient, and there are plenty of affordable restaurants nearby. It is rare to be quiet in the downtown area, and the bedding is soft and relieves fatigue. The front desk is efficient and it is very easy to go out and stroll around the ancient town. The various signs in the lobby are very warm, the breakfast is rich in variety and the service attitude is very good. I suggest friends can live here in the future.

Had a last-minute change of hotel and ended up at Miaowang Hotel. It seems like everyone does this, probably because the entire scenic area is owned by one person. The hotels aren't really good or bad, just different styles. Miaowang is more traditional and the rooms are a bit smaller, so it depends on personal preference. The staff were all great. But the scenic area itself is very commercialized. The performances are worth seeing, and anyway, accommodation includes the entrance ticket. My main complaint: the entrance to Dongzhaikou (East Village entrance) stank! Like a sewer pipe had exploded! The moment you entered the scenic area, it reeked!

Traveling with my wife and children, I am most afraid of ”graphics and texts do not match” when I choose a hotel. Fortunately, this four-star hotel in the center of Daozhen County is completely worthy of our expectations before departure. Staying for two nights, the whole can be described as ”surprise”~ the room is spacious and clean, the facilities and online description are almost zero error, you can walk downstairs to the lively business district, it is convenient to walk around at night to buy snacks, for families with children, this worry-free location is really a plus. Of course, as an ordinary tourist, I also candidly share a few small details, not a slot, more like a little ”good-will reminder”: Regarding the renewal of the supply: the next day, I found that the toilet roll paper was not replaced in time, but it was sent soon after calling the front desk. The response speed is worthy of recognition. If you can pay more attention to the spare amount of consumables when cleaning the room, the experience will be more seamless. Regarding deposit: Trip.com After booking, a deposit of 200 yuan was charged on the spot. Although it is refunded in seconds when checking out, it is recommended that the platform page be marked in advance, so that everyone has more numbers. Regarding breakfast: the environment is grounded, the basic Chinese noodles, porridge, and side dishes are all available. It is no problem to eat. But if you are used to the hearty buffet of five-star hotels in big cities, it is recommended to lower expectations properly - see it as a small opportunity to experience local daily eating, but there will be small surprises. In short, by the standards of the county in the southwest region, this hotel is definitely worth the money, especially suitable for family guests who pay attention to cost-effectiveness and convenient travel. A little shortcoming does not prevent us from giving this stay a high score. Next time I come to Daozhen, I will also put it on the list of preferences. 😊

The hotel is in a great location, with convenient transportation and close to the highway entrance. It is very convenient to go to Chishui Waterfall and Jiaocheng Nature Reserve. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the service is very considerate. Highly recommended, will come again next time!
