Hotels Near The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent

Nisha was brilliant and made our stay extra special. Brilliant hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was always happy to please .

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family for a wedding. The studio room itself was fully equipped with just about everything we needed for the stay and it was spotlessly clean… I mean spotless!!! A couple of things deterred from awarding a full 5 stars. 1: The check in is done remotely and was a little bit disjointed. The photo ID sent after booking was asked for again so had to be emailed again before passcodes we’re released. No on picks up the phone so the entire check in had to be done by SMS - although response were quite quick. 2: There was no parking available on arrival and we’d been driving for almost 6hrs so being tired, a bit stiff and hungry this news was a bit of a blow especially as the listing states there is free parking. We Sent a message to the check in team who basically said if there’s no parking well there’s no parking. We did manage to acquire a space a bit later once someone moved their car. 3: Hanley (the area of SOT where the apartments are located) feels a little bit run down, although there is a shopping centre, cinema, market and restaurants /shops to visit and everyone we encountered over the few days were all very friendly and eager to help. 4: The complimentary tea/coffee etc was not replenished during our stay (yeah we know it’s complimentary but in most places we have stayed in they are still replenished daily). Still worth another visit and would definitely book again with the knowledge of what to expect.

Excellent room and en suite, very clean and seemed fairly newly furnished/decorated. Had booked a twin queen bed as was only available at time of booking (didn’t need two beds) and they did automatically switch me for what I think was a king bed on arrival and it was a very spacious room. Minus a point for dinner at the hotel which is a bit of a let down. - The allergens listed on the menu at reception didn’t match the allergens listed on the menu in the restaurant, so despite pre deciding what to have, was a bit of a let down to find some dishes were no longer allergen free - Also had my starter and main arrive before my drink did, despite ordering at the same time (they did apologise, as they were busy) -dinner in the restaurant was over priced for what you get (no seasoning or flavour) Breakfast however was great and excellent quality for buffet style. I used the gym and although small, it was great for a short stay and a nice to have. All staff were super friendly

The staff was friendly and helpful the breakfast was good. The cleanliness of the room was excellent and had a good night sleep. The only minor complaint from myself is that they closed the bar early so was unable to have a quick pint 🙁. But would definitely use again if in the area.

We love this hotel! Family room was spacious and comfortable, staff were all friendly, proactive and helpful and food/drinks/breakfast were great with excellent gluten free options and information. After a grim and outrageously-priced night staying in one of the Alton Towers Splash Landings ‘family rooms’, our stay at Premier Inn was a complete breath of fresh air. Thank you Premier Inn Trentham!

Our first choice of hotel when we visit our home town of Staffordshire. Staff are friendly and welcoming, including the lovely resident cat! Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was served with a smile and delicious as always, with a nice selection of options. Love the fact that the crockery is Wedgwood - important to me as I was born in the potteries! 🥰 A bit of noise from the wedding party, but this is made clear on the booking, so was understood and expected. The hotel does its best to ensure guests are aware it is a wedding venue, it’s just a pity that the wedding guests don’t respect the fact that people may be sleeping when they ‘merrily’ return to their rooms. 😳 A great stay as always and we’ve already booked our next stay!
