Simply the worst service that I have encountered in all of my travel. For simple things like towel, water etc - a minimum of 4-5 calls had to be made. On making a complaint at the reception, there was not even an acknowledgment from the staff. Would never recommend anybody to stay in the hotel.

Small but beautiful hotel, the interior decoration is Omani style, the room is not big and the furnishings are simple, but it has everything you need. The swimming pool area is beautiful and is the highlight of the hotel. The breakfast is also good. The front desk has a chartered car service to go to nearby points.

The hotel has a good location, good service attitude, rich breakfast, clean and tidy rooms, and an excellent stay experience.

Good starting point for excursions in the area. The hotel is a bit old but offers a solid standard with a fair price/performance ratio. Friendly service and comfortable beds. Typical local breakfast buffet with cold and warm dishes. Free parking next to the building.

Dit hotel is een goed middenklasse hotel. De kamer is schoon en heeft alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Het zwembad is ruim en voorzien van handdoeken. Het personeel is er vriendelijk en het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed verzorgd.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. When we checked into the Sur Plaza Hotel (now owned by Best Western), the lovely Shomalia in reception told us that there were two separate bookings in our name. The complication and error were not of the making of the staff at the hotel, but Shomalia and her manager sorted out the issue and saved us a potentially expensive outlay. Excellent outcome. In terms of the hotel itself, the rooms are tired and in desperate need of renovation - showers over baths that spill water all over the floor, long term mould stains in the grout, old bathroom fittings, metal door frames rust damaged at the base, damaged chipboard wardrobes, poor soundproofing which was made worse by the tiled floors in the rooms where every movement of furniture above could be heard. Hopefully Best Western will provide a long overdue renovation, because I would not stay here again at the prices currently charged without cosmetic improvement. The potential for this hotel is huge, especially with the world discovering how amazing Oman is to visit. As I mentioned above, the best thing about this hotel is the staff - every single one of them are welcoming and hardworking.

I am surprised by the service, honestly, before it was different and now it is different, I had a simple order, a salad, and the order took more than an hour ,,,,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay here for 2 days , enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. I must mention Mr. AMIT from the restaurant made my experience more comfortable. Nice ambiance around the hotel , must recommend for solo trip and with family. Didn’t got a chance to visit the pool Thanks Ravindran

We came for dinner here two nights in a row. Food was lovely, but the service was amazing! We had Amir serving us both nights and wow! What fantastic service! He made sure our drinks were filled and our food was on time. I cannot fault him. Brilliant service.

Do not stay here 1. I had a water leak in my room which meant needed to transfer all my stuff to a new room half way through my trip. 2. Wifi did not work for me once during whole stay on iphone or laptop 3. Food was bad quality. Ordered steak medium rare and came back so overcooked I could bot chew and then next time came back so raw it was nearly alive 4. They charge you if you lose the little plastic card for your room! Crazy

Probably the best hotel in town. It is situated right at a busy highway but although even facing it, the room was quiet enough for a good restful sleep. In spite of the stains in the carpets, both in the common areas as in the room itself, the room was spacious enough and the bathroom idem. The breakfast was decent. The wi-fi works well, so a good solid 3-star hotel.

It has been more than 20 days I am staying in this hotel. I feel like staying at home every day as hotel staff is very friendly, especially restaurant staff Amit, And Manisnh who always take care of me during dinner and breakfast time.they always go beyond to serve us better every time.
