Suzhou Marriott Hotel Taihu Lake Reviews

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff understood and spoke English. The room was excellent, exactly as shown in the pictures on trip.com. The room service was excellent and very fast. We needed an extra bathrobe for our child and it was brought very quickly. The pool is nice, but the water was quite cold. The children's area in the pool is a big plus, as is the playroom, where we had a fun time in the ball pit. The breakfast is good. There is Western cuisine and Chinese cuisine. The reception here was very courteous. Unfortunately, the floor in the breakfast room was very sticky and the table was not cleared in between meals. However, the food we ate tasted very good. Check-out was just as quick and easy. We were even able to take advantage of a late check-out. It was a very successful stay and I will definitely recommend the hotel to others. The surrounding area offers lots to do with children.

My girlfriend and l were on a romantic getaway and stayed at this hotel .The hotel facilities and room services are exceptional .The staff was accommodating and  friendly .Thank you !

Stay at Marriott was awesome. Room was very clean and spacious. Great Mountain View from room window. Breakfast was good and staff very cooperative and friendly. I am looking forward to staying at Suzhou Marriott Taihu Lake again and will definitely recommend friends and family.

Marriott never disappoints! We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it 😍 the location and the view from our room were amazing. We had a variety of activities like biking, hiking, reading books in a peaceful environment, swimming and warming our tired bodies in sauna 🤩 definitely is worth going all the way there from another city and having the best experience 🥰

Back again and the hotel is clean, the facilities are also very clean. Perfect spot for outdoor pool for kids.

On the first night of checking into the hotel, my wife and daughter had rashes while sleeping and we discovered the quilt and bedsheet were dirty and have lots of short hairs on them!!! Why??

We stayed in the family room. The kids loved the Lego, tents and dolls. It felt like they were having fun in the hotel. Lizzy provided great service. We added WeChat before we checked in. She responded promptly when we needed anything. Like!

This time, I participated in the two-day triathlon of XTERRA. I booked a room late and only got a twin room for Saturday. I had to book the Renaissance next door on Sunday. Because I had too much equipment and luggage, I told them that I wanted to stay longer when I checked in. The front desk girl Sun Lijuan and Manager Tang helped me adjust the twin beds for two nights, which saved us from going back and forth to the room, and made our schedule much calmer. Thank you very much to Sun Lijuan and Manager Tang! The view room on the tenth floor has a full view of Taihu Lake. The porter and room service are very timely and patient. The noodles for breakfast are quite amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to taste them again because the competition started at 6 o’clock on Sunday. This stay was quite nice. The whole family decided to practice driving in Taihu Lake and continue to visit the Marriott again next month!

The room was clean and the service was very friendly, especially Winnie at the front desk who was patient and meticulous. She responded to every question. The only drawback of this stay was that the water temperature of the swimming pool was a bit cold. The children shivered when they went into the water. I hope it can be improved!

The room is very nice and clean, the waiter is also nice, and there is a fitness center which is very convenient. You can play games and make an appointment in advance. It is suitable for family outings. Alice at the front desk is very nice. After I arrived, she also provided me with various instructions and various surrounding travel guides. Overall, the experience is not bad.
