I expected it to be crowded during the summer, but the restaurant is quite spacious, so it never felt cramped, and they refilled the food promptly."

Upon arrival on the island, we were told our accommodation was okay to let us through, but the sunset bridge was crowded and we felt quite relaxed. For meals, you have to drive out or order takeout; there are partner restaurants, and the food is acceptable."

"This guesthouse offers a fantastic view of Taihu Lake, which you can enjoy right from your room. The beautiful ancient village next door is open for free in the evenings and isn't over-commercialized. The loquat farmers near Huguo Dragon King Temple are very friendly. Some rooms were being renovated, and the owner kindly upgraded us for free to avoid any noise. Each room has a fridge stocked with drinks and mineral water, and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. While the room rate is a bit higher than other guesthouses, it's absolutely worth every penny. I'm not a shill, I genuinely recommend Shuilu Guesthouse, and I'll definitely be back next April. Just a small suggestion for the owner: consider listing on other travel platforms too, as I couldn't find Shuilu on any other apps when I was looking. Wishing you great success!"

"The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Right outside, you'll find Jinji Lake promenade, a public square, and Suzhou Center. The front desk lady was exceptionally kind; she noticed I had two different room types booked for consecutive nights and proactively upgraded me to a room with a better view, saving me the hassle of changing rooms. I just regret not getting her name! These two days were definitely the most comfortable during my entire stay in Suzhou. I'll definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends."

The indoor swimming pool was especially great, overlooking the iconic 'Big Trousers' landmark. Plus, there's a hot spring-like pool right next to it, perfect for warming up after a swim. The pool water quality was excellent. Additionally, breakfast was very rich and satisfying!"

"Thinking of spending the weekend in Suzhou, I looked for a place near Vanke Wonderland and found Suzhou Huamao Gusu Courtyard on the internet. It had great reviews and is located right in the heart of Gusu, with a subway station just outside. Shopping, gardens, and great food are all within walking distance. The room was spacious like a home, with a kitchen, washer, and dryer – perfect for both short and long stays. The service was incredibly warm; the front desk staff were always ready to help and provided all necessary daily essentials. When my child accidentally cut their hand outside, the front desk immediately offered a band-aid and iodine to help with the dressing. What really thrilled the kids was the heated pool at the club and the summer parent-child craft classes – they didn't want to leave! This is truly a hidden gem for families visiting Suzhou; a few days here feels like a real vacation."

The location in the Ancient Town of Tongli was perfect in my opinion. Easily walkable to all of the major attractions of the town, highly recommend boat rides at night and a visit to the peacock sanctuary inside of the Ruisi gardens."
