Pan Pacific Suzhou
"Objectively speaking, the room view and hotel service were impeccable. However, it's truly a shame that such a large hotel only has one delivery robot. After ordering food, having to wait fifty minutes for it to arrive was maddening. The service department, though, had an excellent attitude. They gave me a coffee voucher and were very polite, answering all my questions. The second time, even though I didn't ask them to deliver my meal, they still thoughtfully brought it to me in advance. So, I think the human aspect of the service is quite good. But I urge the hotel's procurement department and management to approve the purchase of enough delivery robots to support guest traffic, thereby elevating the service experience. The experience at Rui Mian inside the hotel was also very good. While the prices are definitely not budget-friendly, considering the ambiance, the dishes, and the service attitude, I personally believe it offers good value for money."
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden)
"When I was planning my trip, I saw that this hotel had really high ratings, so I chose it. I didn't expect the room to be surprisingly good! It even had a small walk-in closet which was super convenient for hanging clothes, and there was plenty of space for my friend and I to spread out our luggage on the floor. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰🥰 Plus, the front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful, I loved them! ^o^"
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. They offer free parking, and both the environment and rooms are great. The restaurant serves delicious food, and there's even Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) to enjoy. It's a shame I didn't get to try the Qipao photoshoot, but I'll definitely be back next time!"
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"Although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. The hotel's own garden is beautiful, and there's the former residence of Chiang Wei-kuo and the 571 Project site within the hotel grounds, which you can book through the hotel for a visit. The breakfast at the Yi Jiangnan restaurant is decent, offering local Suzhou snacks. I believe the service could be improved. I hope Nanyuan Hotel continues to flourish!"
Qiu Inn (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Humble Administrator's Garden)
"This local time hotel is Very nice inside & out . It is so convenient to lion garden and humble garden , close to restaurant and very convenient. Good service ! They are so helpful for luggage. And highly recommended to everyone !"
Atour Hotel Suzhou railway station north square Bole Shi
"Pros: The location is excellent, right by the North Square of Suzhou Station. The room is very spacious, a true 35 square meters, and the king-size room feels like a suite. It even has a washing machine with a dryer, a mini-fridge, and a bathtub. Great value for money. Cons: The facilities are a bit old. The bathroom is small and shows noticeable rust marks, and the walls have signs of aging. There's no air conditioning vent in the bedroom (or at least no air comes out, even though it looks like there is one). While the room temperature stays at 23 degrees Celsius, the lack of air circulation makes it feel a bit stuffy. Being close to the train station, it's a little noisy. There's no master light switch, so turning off all the lights individually is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's very good value for money and recommended."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The overall environment is elegant and tranquil, creating a wonderful ambiance, and strolling through the grounds was incredibly relaxing. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless and odor-free. All facilities were well-maintained and operated smoothly. The staff were gentle and polite, responding to requests promptly and patiently. My entire stay was comfortable and relaxing. It's perfect for both short trips and extended breaks. Even after checking out, I still feel it's highly recommendable. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Jinji Lake."
Suzhou Alley Jiangnan·Pingjiang Courtyardestay
"Came here with a friend, and the hotel is incredibly close to the scenic area, right on Pingjiang Road. We could walk to Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The stay was very comfortable, with excellent facilities and a beautiful environment. It was a fantastic experience overall."
vchill hotel
"Facilities: High-end, smart. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Japanese style. Service: Excellent, excellent, excellent! Special mention of the Suzhou Aixiangnafu Gusu gift: The small gift was lovely."

Zhuixun · Designer Full Lake View Homestay
"I specifically traveled from Shanghai to the fishing village for the weekend, and the two young men at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. There are tables and chairs by the lake outside the guesthouse, perfect for a barbecue, and the sunset views are fantastic, making for a very atmospheric barbecue. The only downside was the sheer number of small flying insects on the balcony. Perhaps it's due to the season, but it was practically impossible to go out onto the balcony; I could only admire Taihu Lake through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which was a bit of a shame. It would be great if the management could find a way to address this in the future! Overall, it was a very nice experience 👊 Highly recommended 🫰"
Suzhou Jinxi B&B
"I like this B&B very much. I have come here many times before to drink coffee and feel the charm of Taihu Lake. Every time I think that if I wake up in the morning and see the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake, I will definitely be in a good mood. This time I took advantage of the weekday to stay for one night, and I was not disappointed. The weather was very good, and the lake was shining blue. Recommended."
Suzhou Water House
"Quaint little Minsu near the south side of the island with beautiful views. Perfect place to catch the sunset just outside your room. The room and place is comfortable and homely, service is good too. Breakfast is simple but nice, will definitely come back again for a short getaway"
Heart&Island Island Mood · Lake View Homestay
"Nice cosy place. Electric bike rental just outside the homestay. Some friendly stray cats and dogs around to. Pls bring along some pet foods for them too 🤣"
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
"As the top luxury hotel in Suzhou, my stay left me feeling that the service absolutely does not match the price. When my food delivery arrived, I had to call them to bring it up after 40 minutes. In the evening, I contacted customer service for two bananas and a few bottles of water. They responded quickly, but I never saw the bananas or water before I fell asleep. During my stay, the room had a damp smell. I asked the hotel to address it or change rooms, and the front desk said they would call back after confirming, but I never received a call. Half an hour later, a male staff member came and said he would move us to a room on the second floor (our three families were originally all arranged together on the fifth floor). If such an unreasonable room change was necessary, shouldn't they have informed us by phone beforehand? There were three golf carts parked at the main entrance, but we were told there was no driver available to take guests. There were more carts than staff, so we just had to wait on the side. I asked a manager at the entrance, and he rambled on about being understaffed and unable to manage the schedule. For a hotel that costs 4000 yuan a night, do I need you to explain this to me? This is your problem, not ours as guests! The bellhop and driver themselves told me they were interns, and the others didn't know anything when asked. This is the worst Four Seasons I've ever stayed at."
Hotel Nikko Suzhou
"Clean and hygienic, with great service. It's a fantastic choice for both family trips and business travel. The location is super convenient with a subway station nearby, and there's a shopping mall right next door. You can get to shops and restaurants within a 5-minute walk."
Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou
"My whole family was very satisfied with our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou, located at 168 Shishan Road. The service was thoughtful and humanized, with children's amenities prepared considerately. The room was spacious, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast catered to both young and old tastes, and the heated pool had just the right temperature. Plenty of parking was available for self-driving, and it was a short, convenient drive to Jinji Lake, making it easy to enjoy the lake view with the family. This established five-star hotel truly delivers on quality – it's clean, quiet, and pays attention to details, making family trips worry-free and comfortable."
The Ritz-Carlton, Suzhou
"They offered a cup of tea during check-in, but the front desk manager on duty was very cold and unhelpful, making the experience quite uncomfortable. The bathroom door in the room was a finger trap and wouldn't stay open. The booked restaurant, Bianxia, was pretty good, though the overall taste was a bit on the sweet side. A shout-out to the lady who helped with the custom room key; she had a great attitude and proactively offered customization suggestions."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel
"This hotel is located on a pedestrian street, very close to the subway station – just a short walk after exiting. You step right out into a bustling area, and Shantang Street scenic area is also within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a shopping mall. The cleanliness and environment are good, and they offer smart butler service. The staff are also very warm and attentive. There's even a terrace where you can enjoy the view and take photos. The only slight drawback is that the room had a bit of a smell due to recent renovations. Overall, it offers good value for money."
Suzhou Pingjiang Road Yihe Songmaoju (Pingjiang Road Historic Street Shop)
"The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Pingjiang Road. After exploring Pingjiang Road, it's perfectly situated to visit the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. The hotel has an antique charm, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. I was pleasantly surprised to find a direct dispenser for hot and cold drinking water in the room. Breakfast isn't a buffet; you choose your items the day before, but it's so delicious and generous that we only wished our stomachs were bigger! From the moment we checked in, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Front Desk Agent Xiao Xu, who contacted us even before our arrival to give us directions and continued to check in on us until we checked out. She truly made this short trip perfect, and we're so grateful!"
Suzhou Shantang Street Huamao Gusuli Service Apartment
"I don't usually stay in hotel apartments like this, but my experience was really good. The room was very new with a great view, you could even see the Gate of the Orient in the distance. There's a pool, but it was a bit crowded during the summer holidays. The best part is the direct access to the mall and the subway – such a lifesaver in the hot summer!"
Suzhou Shantangstreet Jiangnan Palace
"Nice hotel right in ShantangJie. Designed with peacful cultural gardens and pool with Koi to relax after a days walk. Staff are friendly and helpful"
Floral Hotel·Hanse Shanfang River Hotel
"The owner is very kind, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth visiting again and again."
Suzhou Zhuozheng Yayuan Garden (Pingjiang Road Humble Administrator's Garden Store)
"Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Unexpectedly great! I thought guesthouses near tourist spots often look better in pictures, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. Service: The owner is very nice, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. I will definitely come again next time and recommend it to my friends."
Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)
"The room completely exceeded my expectations! It was truly fantastic, so spacious that even with two suitcases spread out, it didn't feel cramped at all. The amenities were comprehensive: there's a two-seater sofa and a coffee table for dining, plus a desk and chair perfect for makeup or work. The TV is huge and the bed is super large, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The toilet is smart, the mirror has integrated lighting, and both the showerhead and hairdryer were excellent. They also have shared facilities like a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dryer, along with a small outdoor balcony. The location is superb, right on Guanqian Street, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided thoughtful service; the owner even gave me some glutinous rice cakes, haha! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! This hotel definitely gave me a wonderful first impression of Suzhou!!"
Zhuoyu Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Street)
"The room was newly renovated, clean, and the TV was huge. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They called me in advance and even added me on WeChat before I arrived. When my taxi pulled up, it was raining, and they immediately came out to help with my luggage. Anything I needed, I could just ask, and communication was always smooth."
