Romantic Hotels in Suzhou

We had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

This hotel boasts an unparalleled location on the 'C位' (prime spot) of Jinji Lake, making transportation incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway and Suzhou Center Mall for shopping, and you can easily reach the Gate of the Orient. Ligongdi and the Culture and Arts Center are also close by. Right downstairs, you'll find the lakeside scenic walking path, perfect for morning runs or post-dinner strolls with expansive views. The hotel also offers its own parking area, which is a great convenience for those driving. The surrounding commercial area is well-developed, with a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. Inside, the hotel offers a tranquil environment, shielding guests from street noise. This perfect balance of convenience and peaceful living makes its location irreplaceable, whether you're staying for a short trip or a longer visit. Highly recommended! Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

The room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with a large bed that comfortably accommodated two adults and two children. The hotel is located on Pingjiang Road, making it very convenient to visit museums and gardens. It's also very close to the subway station. Stepping out, you're right on a lively street, perfect for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel breakfast was also quite substantial. This hotel is definitely worth recommending.

We stayed in the Yingjie Building. It's newly renovated, and the hardware is excellent. The power outlets are convenient, the lighting design is user-friendly, the showerhead is incredibly comfortable, and the view outside the window is beautiful. It's a historic hotel, and visiting and listening to the explanations was very interesting. The hotel also has a takeaway deli. At 9 AM, we saw many locals buying food, so we bought some to take back as well. The taste was super good, and it was very affordable. The only thing unsatisfactory about this hotel is probably the service. It feels like whenever you need service, you can't find anyone. When we arrived, we saw a sign for the Xiangqu Building lobby. We weren't sure if the Yingjie Building had a separate lobby and wanted to ask, but there was no one at the lobby entrance, so we had to get out of the car and go in to ask ourselves. Is this a five-star hotel? No doorman service? After checking in, a young man did drive us in a golf cart, but he was expressionless throughout, didn't offer to help with luggage, didn't press the elevator button, just followed us – completely untrained, it seemed. Then, at checkout, there was no one at the Yingjie Building front desk, so we had to go to the Xiangqu Building to check out. The staff there said the person from Yingjie might have gone to assist other guests, and that the same front desk person also drives guests in the golf cart. Also, one evening I called the front desk for help with something and scheduled a time for the next morning, but no one followed up the next day, so I had to go sort it out myself. The hotel provided a 500-100 coupon for the SOO HE restaurant, which was too much for two people to use. On a side note, this restaurant also has no service but charges a 15% service fee. I'd recommend eating out; there are excellent Suzhou noodle shops and restaurants right outside the hotel.

An excellent experience! The location is superb, within walking distance to Tongli Ancient Town, making travel and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Our housekeeper, Xiao Wang, was warm, thoughtful, and provided attentive, detailed service, always ready to help with any request. The resort environment is elegant and tranquil, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money – a top choice for any trip!

Came to Suzhou for Zhou Shen's concert. The hotel is in the city center, right next to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, making it super convenient for getting around. There are lots of restaurants nearby and 24-hour supermarkets. Guests also get discounts on tickets to attractions. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly and helpful.

An absolutely exceptional hotel experience, made truly unforgettable by the extraordinary level of service and dedication of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail. The entire team went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a hotel staff. A very special mention must go to Kong Chengjie, whose help was simply extraordinary. I had accidentally dropped my phone into a river and had almost given up any hope of finding it. Kong Chengjie meticulously reconstructed all of our movements and the places we had visited, carefully working out where the phone might have been lost. Thanks to his incredible determination, patience, and attention to detail, he actually managed to recover my phone from the river. This was far more than excellent customer service — it was an extraordinary act of dedication and genuine care that I will never forget. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The facilities and overall experience are excellent, but it is the people who truly make this place exceptional. My deepest thanks to the entire team, and especially to Kong Chengjie, for turning a potentially disastrous situation into an unforgettable example of outstanding hospitality. Without hesitation, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended! Btw: I have extended my Booking for 4 days in this hotel!

This guesthouse is nestled in a bustling commercial street, yet offers a unique sense of tranquility. The second floor is a pleasant surprise, situated right in the heart of the Pingjiang Road core business district. It allows guests to easily enjoy the fun of exploring, shopping, and taking photos nearby, while also being able to retreat to peace and quiet at any time. Choosing to stay here was definitely a wise decision. The guesthouse staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service, arranging the best possible room type for us. The hygiene was good, and all the soft and hardware facilities were well-equipped.
