Hotels Near Luzhi History Museum in Suzhou

I was quite satisfied. The waiter was responsive and didn't mind being disturbed at night. He was able to cooperate with my requests. He was willing to provide disposable masks and was very careful to let me take them myself. I don't often stay in non-chain hotels because I'm worried about hygiene issues, but this one is pretty good. I accidentally booked a windowless room, but I didn't feel stuffy. The trip to Suzhou was very smooth. I am grateful for the efforts of the staff!

This was a last minute booking for me and my friend as it was late and we were too tired to travel the long journey back home. So we decided to spend the night here. What a wonderful experience for us. This is my second time at this hotel and I love everything about it. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating towards our needs at that hour of the day. Truly a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast was great as well and just what we needed to travel back home. Definitely a favourite hotel for me.

The hotel is very nice. We are lucky to be upgraded to a suite with extra space. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to be picky, it’s not too close to the attractions of Suzhou. But with the excellent coverage of their online can order app, everywhere can be reached within 20mins under or around 20RMB, so it didn’t bother us too much. And just one thing, the live TV is weirdly with lagging as if the signals are from the internet. But if u don’t watch tv or do a smart device casting, it’s fine. (Just we were watching the French Open final so the picture lags were a bit disturbing lol) Overall it was very very nice :)

I like this hotel very much! The room, reception area, dining hall are super! Breakfast are varieties choices. The have free supper ie. Dumplings soup, unfortunately I can’t eat cos am vegetarian. The location close to metro station by 500m (5-10min) walk, 观前街just an opposite, walking distance 500m.

I recently stayed 1 night at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel itself is new, modern, and located in a very convenient area, making it easy to explore the surroundings. However, what truly stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff. They were not only professional and efficient but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warmth and helpfulness made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Whether it was providing recommendations, assisting with any requests, or simply greeting me with a smile, their attention to detail and genuine care was truly remarkable. I highly recommend this hotel, not just for its great facilities, but for the outstanding service that made my stay unforgettable.

I really liked the hotel a lot! The room is really spacious and comfortable, the inner courtyard is beautiful and the location is great within Gusu! The only slight drawback which i supposed can't be held in an old building is that I found several bugs in the room, in particular across the bed. Also room service forgot a nail on top of it - I am guessing otherwise I have no idea how it got there. Everything else was clean and well managed. Would definetly come again!

Their lobby, gym and washing machine located at 2nd floor. There is a lot restaurants and cafes nearby. Next to the hotel got a very nice local Egg Cake （蛋饼） stalls and opposite got Luckin Coffee. MRT station and train station also nearby, very convenient to travel around. We have a very pleasant stay at Andu hotel, they even provided soft drinks and snacks. Room got 2 toilets, cleanliness approved and room soundproof so far good for us. But there is no robot send Mei Tuan to your room, all the riders will send your foods to your room directly. Btw, saw a lot peoples review about the hairdryer is Dyson, please at the photo...this is not Dyson!!!! Last but not least, luckily we didn't step on a landmine to stay in this hotel. I come to Suzhou several times a year, but this is my first time staying in Taohuawu area. Here are my real feelings about this stay: Pros: 1) We arrived before noon, and the hotel front desk was very friendly and flexible. There was a room available, so we checked in early, and they were very enthusiastic to upgrade it. Thank you! 2) The room was large and comfortable, and very clean. I am very satisfied with my cleanliness. The hair dryer has a good texture, and it is quite comfortable to blow my hair after taking a shower. 3) I met several staff members in the corridor, including the cleaning lady, who were very polite, smiling and very friendly. When I checked out, I met the cleaning lady again, and she told us to come back next time, which made people feel more humane. 4) It is not far from Beisi Pagoda. I have lived near the pagoda before. This is the first time I stayed in Taohuawu area of ​​the hotel. The feeling is still very good, especially quiet and comfortable at night. I quite like this kind of atmosphere. Disadvantages: Everything was very good and perfect when checking out, until the following happened. The front desk will give a free parking card to guests who check in when they check out. So we went to the underground garage, and then drove to the gate to hand the parking ticket to the management staff. But there was no one in the toll booth, so we waited for about 2 minutes, and still no one showed up. We looked around the garage in the rearview mirror and saw no one, so we honked the car horn, hoping that someone would show up to collect the parking card. Suddenly, we heard a fierce and scolding tone saying, ”What are you doing?” At first, we thought it was the music in the car or some other sound, and whether we heard it wrong. Because we looked around and still no one was there. So we waited for a while and honked the horn again, hoping that someone would show up, because we were in a hurry to go to Lili Ancient Town. The scolding voice appeared again: ”What are you doing? You don't know how to pay?” But we could only hear the voice but not the person. We couldn't see where the person who was talking was, which made us anxious. We opened the car window, took out the parking card and said, we have a parking card here, please open the door, where are you? We can't see where you are, where is the voice coming from? Can you take the card?” Then after a while, a person suddenly walked to the glass window of the passenger seat, and we gave him the card. Then he said, ”Why didn't you give it to me just now? ”We replied: ”We didn't see anyone, there was no one in the booth.” Shouldn't there be someone in the booth? The man answered loudly and quickly, ”There is no one sitting inside.” We said, we can't see where you are or where the voice is coming from. Then when our car was about to leave, the garage manager shouted loudly, ”Why are you so arrogant? ”I don't know what kind of mentality this person had when he said this. It was really inexplicable. To be honest, we really don't understand this kind of behavior. What did we do wrong to be disrespected and taught a lesson. It was really inexplicable. So we filed a complaint and asked for an apology. The hotel manager and the security captain were very kind and reasonable in the end. They helped us find the garage manager. During the discussion, we could see that the garage manager knew his mistake, but he just couldn't accept it. He kept rolling his eyes up. Maybe he wanted to save face even though he knew he was wrong. But isn't this the society? Today is the weekend and we are your customers. Tomorrow is a working day and we have to face our own customers. If everyone works with this kind of hostility, how would everyone feel? Put yourself in others' shoes, treat others well, and respect them. This is the minimum quality of a person. If you really don't like this job, don't make it difficult for yourself. You can leave the opportunity to those who really need him. Finally, I really thank the hotel leaders and security captains who helped coordinate. Thank you for your understanding and respect for customers. I understand that the garage staff may not be directly managed by the hotel, but by the property of this scenic spot. But since this is a new scenic spot, I also believe that everyone hopes that it can be done well in the future and that there will be more guests staying. I actually always wanted to give a full five points, but I'm sorry, I really can't give it this time. I think there is still room for improvement and improvement in the connection between the hotel's supporting facilities and services. Everything is to hope that the hotel can do better in the future and enhance the actual feelings and experience of other guests staying in the future. Was upgraded to suite on non-smoking floor, although in the morning, I found a guest smoking in the lift lobby on non smoking floor. Nice hotel with restaurants in the building. Easy travel by Didi to Suzhou Train Station. Chinese breakfast.

Great location for me 15- 20 mins from the railway station and close to the industrial area. Room are spacious , great shower, good breakfast . Staff super nice and helpful. Housekeeping is really busy guess a bit understaffed at the moment For amenities unfortunately gym was under renovation and I booked it for this .. was a little disappointed but would deffo stay here again . Hope it’s finished next time Can order outside food delivery for dinner or there’s a Starbucks and a noodle place around the back of the adjoining building to the hotel .
