Crowne Plaza Hotels in Sydney

Clean and spacious room, hotel is 5 min walk away from Macquarie park Metro station, ~20min walk from the Macquarie shopping mall. Not much exciting there, but the company I visited was close by, that's why I choose the Crown Plaza. Nice and friendly staff as well as the Reception and in the Restaurant. Small convenience shop and restaurants just opposite the street, (Malaysia, Thai, Kebab, KFC, Macdonald,....)

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood and found the experience to be satisfactory. The hotel's location is convenient, situated within a short walking distance to public transport and a shopping center, which made exploring the area quite easy. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment for rest. However, I noticed that the breakfast options were somewhat limited, which was a slight drawback. The rooftop pool and Skye Bar were highlights of the stay, offering a pleasant space to relax and enjoy views of the city. Overall, while there were some areas that could benefit from improvement, my stay at the Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood was acceptable and met basic expectations.

The previous user's belongings were left in the drawers in the room. The bus stop for the domestic terminal is right in front of the hotel, and the bus stop for the international terminal is a few minutes' walk away. This makes it ideal for pre- and post-peak nights before and after using Sydney Airport.

We booked hotel for convenience for our wedding. Pros: The location is awesome, only 7min walk from Gadigal Metro Station and about 5mins from Townhall station. Check is smooth, we were quickly allocated a room. If you are a member with IHG they will allow you to have a later check out. The size of the room was very good. Cons: The cleanliness of the room was very sad, quite disappointing that a 4 star hotel doesn’t have late night housekeeping. There were grey stains on the pillows. Dirty bits in the shower. Housekeeping service was very bad. They somehow made the bed with our personal items wedged between the sheets which took up a really long time to find. They didn’t bother to replace towels and remove all the rubbish from our room. All in all, not the greatest experience. Would not recommend. Poor service, overpriced.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend away at the Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury to celebrate our anniversary. Beautifully renovated historical hotel surrounded by manicured gardens, with the best buffet breakfast in their lovely Gazebo Restaurant. We stayed in the spacious junior suite with a small balcony which had beautiful views of the gardens and the mountains in the distance. Our room also had all the modern tech with the latest gadgets to fully enjoy our stay. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a shout out particularly to Paris who gave us excellent local recommendations and was more than happy to answer all our questions. An added bonus was a lovely dessert tray and card for our anniversary that the hotel surprised us with when we came back to our room one evening! Highly recommended.
