Taipei Crystal Hotel Reviews

This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. The room looked so run down.There is quite a big gap from the door to the floor. You can literally hear people talking loudly outside your room. There are only two lights at the corner in the entire room. The wallpaper and the ceiling look very old. The toilet has mold on the ceiling with a small stream of water coming down from the wall. Shower curtain as the toilet door. The bath tub doesn't even have its own shower curtain. Funny thing is they used a shower curtain as the toilet door but no shower curtain for the bath tub. With the water spilling out onto the floor when showering. I am very concerned that either me or my family might have slipped and fallen when climbing out of the tub. One night stay is more than $200 sgd without breakfast. You could have asked why I didn't complain or talk to the front desk? Since I've included my family's name list when booking the family room. By giving us this type of standard. I doubt they have any better rooms in the hotel anyways. What's the point then? The only good thing is the front desk is polite and the bed is comfortable. Coming back again? Never ever again.

The front desk staff are helpful in general, but the cleanliness of the room still needs big improvement. I found screw on the floor, then something like ‘ash’ on the coffee table. The door, if not closed super tightly, will remain open without notice.

This hotel is a shady place. It uses deceptive pictures to cheat guests out of money. It does not refund guests even if they do not stay. We paid online.

The room is big, but its old already, the furniture is old. The bath room is also big but the bath tub is too high, its not normal, there us no step stair atleast 1 step. A bit expensive too.

Actually if you are on a budget go for it

Ideal for what I needed. Near to public transport and somewhere to sleep. Bit old and run down but done the job.

Location was close to nearby night market, have to do bit of walk. The area seems like a ghost town and quiet

Very old building. The roof is low. If your height is more than 1.9m Ithink its hard to you barely standing straight. Poor facilities. Need to renovated soon

Room was so dirty and they didn’t vacuum it for how many days , no idea .  Wanted to cancel my booking but trip.com no allowed.  Upset.

Hard to find a place, far from MRT but easy to go to ximending by bus. No room service changes example amenities and drinks

The location is fine and what the hotel prepares for you is sufficient but the thin is so thin that you hear the building’s pipes and boilers all night long! Can’t sleep at all! Also I don’t know if it’s the cleanliness or the mosquitoes in the hotel (yes there are a few) the whole night something bit me and made me very itchy. Although it’s relatively good value for money, I won’t stay there again.

The hotel is quite close to Long Shan Temple MRT station. There are several restaurants serving traditional ********* breakfast.

Generally fine overall.. great value..

Fine cheap budget hotel option. Walls do leak a bit of sound. Slightly dated facilities. Bathroom wasn't properly cleaned when we checked in, still hair around.
