Taiyuan City Government Manxin Hotel

Last time I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel (going to Datong), and this time I stayed at the Manxin Hotel (Taiyuan). According to Huazhu Club, the former is mid-range and the latter is mid-to-high-end. Based on travel needs and the desire to try out the differences in services and facilities of hotels with different positioning, I booked Manxin to experience it for myself. 1. Better service. For example, Manxin has welcome fruits, and they opened the door for me on the first day of check-in. I was quite surprised by the latter, as this is a service available in a mid-to-high-end hotel. In addition, after completing the check-in procedures, the lobby manager will also escort the customers to the elevator, which is quite considerate. However, don't expect any service such as helping you press the elevator button and sending your luggage up, after all, this is not a five-star hotel. Second, the room type. I am quite satisfied. When I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, I didn’t get a room upgrade, but when I stayed at the Manxin Hotel, I didn’t expect that I would get a room upgrade (it might be a basic operation). After upgrading the room type, the space is spacious, with dry and wet areas separated (what I care about most), and the room decoration style is what I like, thumbs up. 3. Lobby decoration style and fragrance. The scent of All Seasons Tea is hard to describe, but it's quite special. However, subjectively it's not my favorite scent, so I won't discuss it. 4. Meals. As for the food, it was just a normal meal, nothing special, but it had everything that you would expect, and the small cakes were delicious. 5. Others. Because my travel schedule was a bit tight, I set up a wake-up call at the front desk to get up early, and the front desk woke me up on time with a gentle tone and a good attitude. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay. I will try Intercity Hotel next time.

The hotel is newly renovated, the environment is good, the location is OK, not far from anywhere! Breakfast was provided, which was quite nice, but there were not many seats, and it would be difficult to sit if there were too many people! There is a nice local food restaurant next to the hotel, the taste is very good!

I brought my parents and children to Taiyuan for a trip during the Qingming Festival and was very satisfied with the family room I stayed in. The room is very big and it is not crowded at all for four people to live in. The length of the sofa is also enough for one person to sleep. The interior is clean and the facilities are new. The service staff are very nice. They greet everyone they meet and give snacks to children when they see them. The location is a little far from the subway station and Liuxiang. We took a walk to Liuxiang, which was ok, but it is not recommended if you have luggage.

There is also a water bar and resident singers (there were no performances during the Chinese New Year), which creates a full atmosphere. 😊 The room is very spacious, equipped with a large TV and projection function, which is very suitable for ordering takeout and watching movies. 😊 Champs fleuris is one of my favorite brands of toiletries. My hair doesn’t feel dry after washing with shampoo, and the smell of chamomile essential oil is very natural. 😊 The mattress is very comfortable, the pillow is a memory foam pillow, the shower water pressure is stable, the bathroom is spacious, and the sound insulation is also very good. 😊The hotel is equipped with a sunny gym and the laundry room is equipped with two LG commercial washing machines that can be used to wash and dry down jackets. 😊There is also a large amount of Taiyuan's local specialty Taigang soda and Bama Platinum Spring in the room and restaurant for unlimited drinking. 😊 The hotel is surrounded by convenient transportation, with bus stops, snack bars, convenience stores and restaurants. It is close to Food Street and Shanxi Museum. 😊 The pure cotton bathrobe is very comfortable. I personally prefer this soft but friction-free material. Manxin's slippers are the most comfortable ones I have ever stayed in a hotel. Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages in my experience! Other facilities: Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces at the door! Safe and convenient! TV supports screen projection Robot service available Overall, the stay experience was very good. The toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and fragrances of Manxin are all to my liking. The management of this Manxin is very good. There are no sanitary dead corners in the room. The front desk staff will take the initiative to give mineral water and souvenirs when you check out, and will ask if you need to bring mineral water every time you go out! All the service staff were very responsive. Living here is really the best choice for Taiyuan. Thanks to every service staff, we who traveled here felt the deep warmth in this strange city!

The location is good, the room is clean and tidy, and water and snacks were given when I left. The overall experience was very good.

The hotel is newly opened, all facilities are very new, the rooms are spacious, the front desk service responds promptly, and the buffet breakfast is rich in variety. I will choose here again when I come to Taiyuan for tourism next time.
