Booked family mountain view room, but the room did not see the view, and the room was on the first floor, opposite the bathroom and public area bathhouse, there was a big smell, and the Japanese hotel I stayed in all the way was relatively poor than the sanitary conditions.

I personally like this quiet hot spring hotel. The private soup on the roof loft has its own characteristics. However, it is very cold to climb up to the loft on a snowy day. There is no shower on the loft. Remember to wash in the big hot spring shower and then go to the loft for breakfast and dinner. Very hearty, especially for breakfast, the curry rice with raw eggs is so delicious that you don’t care about your belly bulging. The uncle in the family hotel is kind, chatting with me and taking me to the station. The experience is perfect and it can’t be better.

Homestay like staying with family. The hosts are a lovely elderly couple that took wonderfully care of us. The house is old, the facilities basic but clean. The bath/ shower is in their part of the house. The breakfast was the best we had so far! The location is a bit of the grid, but their is a restaurant close by
