The hotel is located on the 15th floor, in the same building of the Ibis Hotel. You’ll see the signs inside directing you to go in the elevator to floor 15.
The hotel lobby is very stylish and we received a warm welcome.
I highly recommend international guests to download WeChat as the staff can communicate easily this way.
The room was spotless. Lovely robes to use. Bottled water daily.
We had the 180 room and it was great. Such a unique experience. The bed was huge and the herbal pillow was amazing.
We had free fresh coffee prepared and offered every morning. And a Nespresso machine in the room.
The television has no English speaking channels, does my screencast or accept vpn, so it may be an idea to download some programmes/ films to your iPad / phone.
We only had one full day in Chengdu and the staff helped us choose the best places to visit. (Our visit was short due to us changing flights because of the Middle East conflict)
We had free coffee offered every morning. And a Nespresso machine in the room.
DiDi easily found the hotel. Metro 18 is only every hour but we found more regular trains to airport from east Chengdu station. Was less that 40 mins from panda base at 0730am.
If we come back to Chengdu we will definitely stay here.

Honestly, as a B&B listed on the 2026 National Top 50 B&B list, I still think there's room for improvement:
1. The B&B offers a shuttle service, but I wasn't informed about it proactively before check-in. I had to call the front desk to inquire about transportation, and only then did they send a driver to pick me up. While the shuttle service itself was very responsive, proactive, and available on call – and the driver, Mr. Yuan, was warm and thoughtful – I still felt quite uncomfortable with the wait. I suggest they be more proactive in their guest services next time.
2. To be frank, it's March, and I was uncomfortably hot from the underfloor heating. Although it's genuinely cold at high altitudes, I suggest more precise control over the temperature settings.
3. There are genuinely few TV channels. I recommend adding a screen-casting option. If there aren't many good channels, at least I could cast my favorite movies.
However, for a listed B&B, there are definitely highlights:
1. The hygiene is impeccable. The bedsheets weren't damp, but dry and close to the skin. There was no mold or mildew anywhere, from the corners to the curtains and duvet covers. Achieving this at high altitudes is truly commendable.
2. The scenery is breathtaking. I was lucky enough to experience a snowfall during my stay, and I actually witnessed the ”Golden Mountain in the Sunlight” – I hope good fortune stays with me for the whole year.
3. The oxygen supply is genuinely ample. At first, I thought it was diffused oxygen, but then I realized each room has its own individual oxygen concentrator. This alone makes it worth five stars – truly a savior for altitude sickness.
4. All the staff members are warm, thoughtful, and have an excellent service attitude, infinitely better than the indifferent service you often find at many scenic area hotels. A special thanks to staff member A Xing for the travel tips – it was very thoughtful.
5. The facilities are top-notch. The toiletries are all from Balmain, and they don't dry out your skin, plus they're generously provided. I also specifically noticed that the speakers are Marshall – they spared no expense.
6. The B&B's own restaurant offers a rich variety of dishes. Who can understand the feeling of salvation from a bowl of beef noodles late at night?
So, overall, the strengths outweigh the weaknesses, and it's well worth five stars. But the areas for improvement still need to be addressed. I'll be back to check next time!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hidden House Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The level of service really stood out; every request was handled quickly and with genuine care, making the whole experience feel seamless and relaxing. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and had a great atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a day out.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend Hidden House Hotel to anyone looking for a place with exceptional hospitality and a warm, accommodating team. I’d definitely come back again!

The room had a unique character, clean and tidy. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic, with strong water pressure and quick drainage. The large bathtub was great for a relaxing soak. Breakfast was nutritious and even included stir-fried dishes, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, very satisfied. A special shout-out to the kind staff member who went above and beyond by helping us get a taxi to the high-speed rail station. Excellent service!

The Sungold Designer Hotel boasts an absolutely unbeatable location for exploring Chengdu. We were staying for multiple days, the thoughtful staff upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. It is placing you right in the heart of the city's most trendy area. You are just a short walk away from Taikoo Li high-end shopping, cafes, and unique architecture. Getting around the city is incredibly easy from here. The hotel is very close to the Metro Station, making it simple to hop on the subway and explore further-flung attractions. There is also a Lawson mini-mart conveniently located right downstairs for any snacks or essentials you might need during your stay.

Super huge room with queen size bed and vicinity to restaurants and pharmacies just beside the hotel.
Very near to Tamg Yue Onsen and sauna to relax and soak in onsen after hours and days of walking and climbing up stairs at all the mountains.
Near to Chun XinRoad ans IFS as well as Taikooli.
The hotel is dated however all good for water pressure and hot water for bathing . Room come with air con cum heater, local tv programs, kettle and basic toiletries.
5 mins to Chun xi MRT and 10 mins to IFS Airport drop off and pick up stops which estimate takes 1.5 hours Airport.
I include the bus pick up timing and price for guide as well.
Renovations going on opposite building thus noise was an issue during my stay however pretty quiet during bedtimes when works stopped.
All good as room price is not expensive at all.

During our 7-day trip to Chongqing and Chengdu, our three-night stay at the Lin'en International Hotel made us feel right at home – convenient and comfortable. The room was very spacious, featuring two beds (a king and a queen) in separate areas, along with two sinks and two toilets. This setup was perfect for our family of four, allowing plenty of space and making it easy to look after each other. The large bathroom included a separate shower area and a bathtub. Complimentary disposable bath liners and bath salts were provided, which was a huge relief after tiring days of sightseeing – a hot bath was just what we needed to unwind. The room also had a desk and lamp, plus essential stationery. Our second-grader, who had daily homework, was absolutely thrilled and gave it a big thumbs-up as soon as we walked in.
The hotel’s decor is sophisticated and very well-maintained. Every corner, from the common areas to the rooms, was impeccably clean. Both of our children have allergies and suffer from perennial rhinitis and sensitive skin. Before our stay, I saw a negative review about skin issues and was a bit worried, so I specifically contacted Ctrip to inquire. I was told it was an isolated case related to seasonal changes and individual constitutions, and that the hygiene standards were definitely up to par. After checking in, none of the children’s rhinitis flared up, and no one in the family experienced any skin itching.
During our stay, an auntie came to clean the room daily, change supplies, and vacuum the carpets with a specialized machine – this deserves a special shout-out! 👍 The complimentary laundry service was particularly fantastic, saving us a lot of time and adding immense convenience to our trip. Staff would collect our clothes from the room daily, wash and dry them, then meticulously fold each item before returning them to our room. It was incredibly thoughtful.
The hotel's breakfast was superb and varied. In addition to the typical Chinese and Western dishes, stir-fries, fruits, drinks, and pastries found in star-rated hotels, they also offered local snacks like Bobo Chicken, Tofu Pudding, Dandan Noodles, and Long Chaoshou. The presentation also had a distinct local flavor. The complimentary afternoon tea was also excellent.
From the concierge and front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was polite and courteous. They provided services like opening car doors, pressing elevator buttons, and carrying luggage to our room whenever we needed assistance. When we checked out, they even gave our children panda plushies, which was a lovely gesture!
The hotel has its own parking lot, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. The location is also excellent, with Chunxi Road just a 10-minute walk away. There are also many local snacks and specialty restaurants nearby. We will definitely choose Lin'en International Hotel again on our next visit to Chengdu! Wishing them all the best and continued success!

Excellent location of hotel. Right in the heart of tai Koo Li.
Walkable to everywhere.
Loft hotel so you gotta be able to climb stairs to reach the bed room and bathroom upstairs.
Projector was fixed onto the cupboards upstairs but the helpful butler got us a stand to hang our clothes.
Service by the personal butler via WeChat was amazing. She helped us with our food deliveries too.
Water pressure for shower was excellent
but hotel rooms only has heater and no aircon. So if you require aircon, you may need to look at another hotel, esp during the warm months.
Overall a great stay.
Butler was amazing. Thank you. You Made our 3N stay very enjoyable. Well done!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street, and it’s super convenient for taxis and the subway. The area downstairs is very lively, and there are even street food stalls at night. The room was clean and had no strange odors, which I really appreciated. I honestly can't stand rooms where the bedding, pillows, and curtains reek of smoke, but this hotel was perfect – not a hint of any smell! When I arrived, the staff in the lobby helped me with my luggage and offered me water. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the front desk staff were all so good-looking and had excellent service attitudes! I started feeling unwell with a cold and sore throat after arriving, so I casually asked if they had a humidifier. Within a minute, a staff member brought one to my room! It was so touching; many hotels don't even have humidifiers. This is the only hotel I've stayed in recently that did, and it honestly saved my life, haha. The biggest surprise, though, was the laundry service. Staff came to collect my clothes for washing, and after they were washed, dried, ironed, and neatly folded in a bag, they were delivered back to me. The clothes were soft, fragrant, and still warm – simply amazing! 👍🏻 Breakfast is on the 30th floor with a great variety of options, and the restaurant environment is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the noodles! They also have freshly squeezed juice, like that sweet and tangy orange juice that isn't watered down or thickened. Every single staff member I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant, room service, and even the laundry lady, always had a smile on their face and was incredibly friendly. You could tell that even though their work might be busy and trivial, every single person radiated a positive, lively energy! They truly seemed to genuinely enjoy serving guests from the heart; you could feel their sincere work ethic, not just a perfunctory attitude. This was a stark contrast to a hotel I stayed at in Guanghan, so I absolutely have to praise this hotel and share some real photos. My fellow travelers, you can book with confidence! This is a genuine review from a travel-loving fairy~

The room was clean and the location was super convenient – the subway station is right downstairs and there's a mall directly across the street, making dining options plentiful. The only downsides were that the room felt a bit damp and the bathroom had a strong odor. Other than that, everything was great.

GGuest UserTianfu Airport pickup service: Tianfu is really far away, but as soon as I got off the plane, I received a call from the driver. The service was warm and thoughtful, and I really appreciate it.
In-room minibar: The hotel provides complimentary soft drinks and beer, so you can relax and unwind even without leaving the hotel. There are also snacks and capsule coffee provided, which is very thoughtful.
Overall, my stay was fantastic and very comfortable. The hotel's decor is stylish, and both the lobby and the room are elegant. It's very close to the scenic area, and the accommodation is nestled within Kuanzhai Alley, so you can step right out and explore. The exterior also blends in with the Kuanzhai Alley style, with a traditional Chinese feel that's ancient and charming, full of character. The room was clean and tidy. My room's interior, based on a modern Chinese style, also incorporated some purple tones, giving it a very mature and stable feel. Front desk staff Rora, Zoe, and Nancy provided warm and thoughtful service. Highly recommended!

FFanchedachuClean and tidy, with a built-in oxygen concentrator. No worries about altitude sickness with 24-hour oxygen supply. Conveniently located for both Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley scenic areas. It's just a 10-minute walk to Changping Valley, while Shuangqiao Valley requires a drive. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.

AAnonymous UserThe location isn't too far or too close to the Chunxi Road area. When I booked, I chose the family room for its large bed, but I didn't expect the window to be tiny. The room's dark color scheme made it dim and depressing; it felt like staying in a dungeon. The bathroom outlet was also intermittently without power, and breakfast was very mediocre. I had originally booked for three nights, but I moved to another hotel on the third night (I was too tired from sightseeing the first two days, otherwise I would have left sooner). I strongly suggest the owner change the lighting; with an already dark color palette, the dim lighting is just unbearable. If you stay here, I'd recommend booking a different room with a larger window. I noticed other rooms had big windows with lush trees outside, which looked much better.
AAbigail WebbIt was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again.
MM253152****The hygiene was good! The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows weren't too high, very soft! The service attitude was also good. The breakfast was quite simple, with buns, eggs, soy milk, and coffee. For this price, the surrounding area is quite noisy, and the sound insulation isn't great. The only downside is that there were so many mosquitoes... I got bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of the night, and it happened in both rooms, even my child was bitten. There was nothing we could do. We had planned to stay a few more days. I hope the owner will provide mosquito repellents in every room and do a better job with pest control in the future.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Mount Emei, I choose this hotel. It's a great hotel in terms of location, environment, and service quality. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the rooms face the lake. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing a peaceful and relaxing stay. Right outside the hotel entrance, there's a food street offering a wide variety of delicious options, including local Chinese cuisine, spicy skewers, tofu pudding, barbecue, sweet crispy duck, and ice jelly. The hotel breakfast offers a rich and diverse selection of fresh and tasty dishes, along with local specialties. This Le Meridien hotel in Mount Emei is definitely worth choosing again and again.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly cozy and comfortable, and the service was outstanding – so patient and accommodating. A big shout-out to staff members #1 and #5! They went above and beyond, fulfilling every request and even giving a gift to my child when we left. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this place!
GGuest UserThe hotel is 15 mins walk from Chengdu east railway station so if you take high speed train, this is a good choice. My stay was quite a journey. I have to change room 3 times due to these situations. 1. The internet signal was bad in the first room so I got upgraded to the bigger room with better signal. 2. The electricity went down 4 times in the second room so I have to change to the third room in the dark. Plan ahead about laundry because the hotel has more than 30 floors but there are only 3 laundry rooms available, 2 washing machines per room. So we kinda fought for the washing machines. The washing machine is also a dryer which I dried my clothes for 9 hrs and it's still damp. So you really have to plan about this. The service is quite weird. The front desk has so many people. I stayed for a week and barely see the same faces. Most of them are very helpful but some are not. However, I kinda enjoy the stay.

AAnonymous UserThe Holiday Inn Express truly boasts an excellent location. Turn right and a short walk takes you to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, while turning left leads directly to Zangwang Square. There's also a McDonald's right downstairs. For travelers without a car, this is definitely the top choice. A big thank you to the friendly guy at the front desk. Plus, the hotel's self-service laundry and dryer facilities are incredibly convenient for those on longer trips – a huge bonus!
GGuest UserThe best part about the room was the shower – the hot water and strong pressure were so refreshing. It's close to Chunxi Road, which was convenient for tour group pickups. The front desk staff were really helpful, thumbs up! Plus, the price was great.
