I was a bit hesitant at first, seeing some of the negative reviews, but it turns out I made the right choice. The room was very clean, and they use cards to indicate which amenities you'd like replaced. They even folded my clothes neatly. Different floors offer different recreational activities, but I was short on time this trip and couldn't check them out. There are plenty of great food options downstairs. The Michelin-starred Yat Tung Heen offers dim sum for lunch and à la carte for dinner; you can book online. Transportation nearby is also very convenient, making it super easy to get around. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay.
The only hiccup was that when I tried to book a data package during the reservation process, it kept failing and getting canceled. I ended up contacting Trip.com customer service, who helped me book a data SIM card package, and then the order went through successfully.

The hotel is very close to Harbour City and the subway is super convenient. Plus, there's a direct bus (route 25) to the airport, making transportation a breeze. We were given a room on the lowest floor, so there wasn't much of a view, but being able to check out late at 1 PM was a nice perk. The breakfast spread was extensive, though nothing particularly stood out. However, it was good for getting your fill of vegetables and fruits. The bathroom was almost a wet/dry separation, which was quite practical. The room size isn't small by Hong Kong standards. There was no strange smell in the room, but the duvet felt slightly damp. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.

This hotel is located on a hill near Mei Foo MTR station, requiring guests to cross a skybridge and climb uphill. Although there are elevators all the way, travelers with large luggage should reconsider staying here.
The environment is incredibly tranquil, making for a very good night's sleep. Mosquitos and dampness are unavoidable, but luckily, we didn't spot any mice. Most of the staff are very friendly, except for one 'mouse-catcher' in a black uniform who was very aloof and unapproachable. I hope staff training can be improved in the future.
The infrastructure is good; TV, fridge, hairdryer, and internet are all available. There are also many snack shops in the residential area near the MTR exit. I would come again.
The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's within a 10-minute walk to Admiralty and Wan Chai MTR stations, making it very convenient to get anywhere. There are numerous bus routes right outside, as well as a tram stop. It's also a short walk to the Star Ferry, Hong Kong Park, and the Peak Tram. Downstairs, there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants, making dining and shopping very easy. Directly across from the side entrance is a famous char siu (BBQ pork) shop that always has long queues during peak hours. The hotel's gym is a big plus. The only downsides were a strange odor in the hallway, likely from a sewage issue, and one of the beds in the room was severely sunken and uncomfortable. The soundproofing wasn't great, but it didn't disrupt my sleep. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about; it's a hotel that offers great value for money in Hong Kong.
I was very satisfied with the room and the service was excellent. They even upgraded my room for free. Everyone says Hong Kong is super expensive, but this place is just amazing. The room facilities were complete, and it was clean and tidy. The room key was made of wood, and when you swiped it to enter, the room was already powered on. There's a fixed power card in the room, so you don't need to insert your room key. The lighting was cozy, the air conditioning was at a comfortable temperature, and the overall environment was superb. Before I went, I read a lot of reviews saying the rooms could be damp, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. Breakfast was Western style, and the overall experience was very good.

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were also very friendly. For the same price, it's much better than staying in those tiny guesthouses in the city center. Although it's a bit out of the way, located on the site of the former Kai Tak Airport, the surroundings are superb. I ended up walking everywhere, enjoying the Sky Garden and the sea views along the way, even skipping the bus!
The basic room is very compact, bed is low like Japanese futon inspired, but shower facilities all work well, even folding desk by the bed. Perfect room for just sleeping the night. Reception on the third floor. Assistant there helped me to contact online reception. Large common kitchen at reception if you have time to cook or eat deliveries. Location is good for bars and Man Mo temple walking distance. Nearby breakfast places open around 10am. Prepare your own slippers and tooth brush and teeth paste.

The Kimpton in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, was an excellent choice for our stay. The hotel boasts a superb location with convenient access to transportation, surrounded by attractions, shops, and a plethora of dining options, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore. The overall decor is modern and subtly luxurious, creating a serene and elegant ambiance that feels a world away from the bustling streets.
Our room was spotless and bright, with a well-thought-out layout and comprehensive, high-quality amenities. We felt completely at ease during our stay. William and Rachel provided professional and incredibly warm service, always polite and gentle, responding promptly to our requests and demonstrating thoughtfulness at every turn. The combination of a high-quality environment and attentive service made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
One of our favorite accommodations.
The room is functionally furnished and has a fantastic view of the sea.
Everything was clean. There was a nice, large shower and plenty of space to store our clothes and backpacks.
The location is fabulous, quiet, right on the beach, a little away from the village.
The hotel has its own restaurant. The breakfast is delicious, and we always ate well there too.
But the best thing about the hotel is the staff. We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home.
Anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city should come here.

DDamarisThe photos online were misleading. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, not the 8th as stated. Luckily, I had an HK SIM to contact the property. Staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small with a strong chemical smell due to recent spraying without ventilation.
There was no shower gel or shampoo provided, and one of the restroom doors was missing.
The location is great, but overall, it's not a pleasant experience.

MM492872****Finding a room with such great value for money in Hong Kong is truly a good find! The room isn't too small either, and it's close to all the places I wanted to visit. The MTR station is right downstairs, which is super convenient. The staff are very welcoming, and the owner is especially nice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

JJo F.During our stay, the fire alarm accidentally rang twice at 7am & 7:30am with no reason, and the night-to-morning shift security guards (a senior man & a senior lady) were quite rude. And strongly recommend to bring your own hair dryer for your stay cuz the little pink hair dryer did nothing……
While we still had a good time with our doggies here, good location and excellent view.
LLiaohezuoanIt is very convenient to travel in Chungking Mansions. It is a ten-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars and Harbor City. The boss is very nice. When I arrived, it was very inconvenient because my phone ran out of battery before the check-in time. The boss saw that I was embarrassed and asked me to go ahead in advance. Checked in, thank you very much boss

GGuest UserThe staff were helpful and friendly, and got me checked-in smoothly. You get an entire floor to yourself, and will have an amazing view of the Happy Valley area both in the day and at night. Amenities within the room are great as well and properly maintained.
GGuest UserWe were extremely satisfied with the accommodation. This place is in a resort area with beautiful scenery. We came on a weekday, so it was off-peak and not crowded, perfect for a vacation! Our group was 6 adults and 2 children. Before coming, we were hesitant about booking a B&B, but after arriving, we were so glad we chose this one! Although it's far from the city, there are plenty of bus services and excellent transport links. We visited many places without taking a single taxi. Given Hong Kong's prices, staying in such a wonderful resort house was truly perfect! Everyone in my family was very happy. The facilities inside are new, clean, and tidy. There's a kitchen and a dining table. We bought ingredients in Tsing Yi, and the B&B provided cutlery, cups, and pots and pans. Although the room wasn't huge, there were plenty of cabinets, and it was spacious enough for us, which was acceptable. The owner even thoughtfully provided bottled water. We could easily prepare a simple meal, and it was truly wonderful to sit around the dining table and chat while traveling. What a fantastic accommodation experience, excellent value for money! The lady in the shop downstairs was also great; she even gave candy to the kids 🍬. The children had a lot of fun here too. We spent our days exploring the city and our evenings happily dining and looking after the kids at the resort house. The washing machine has a built-in dryer, which solved all our laundry problems during the trip. The air conditioning and refrigerator were also very powerful! A perfectly wonderful experience! We made sure to clean up before we left, a fitting end to this perfect trip ✈️
