"It was a little disappointing when the receptionist was being quite unprofessional as I approached her for a spare room card. She told me that the guest was British after I told her my surname meaning that she didn't consider that a Chinese person can be British, how backwards and ****** such behavior this is. Lack of exposure might be the answer ;however, I was expecting a lot more from a 4 star establishment.
Must I stress that the reason we conversed in Mandarin is a respect to the local staff yet it always backfires in situation like this. More training should be provided."

Water Meworld is located in the urban core area opposite the Taipei Railway Station. It is an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, MRT, bus, and passenger railways. It has an excellent geographical advantage.
"The location is very convenient, with Starbucks, convenience stores, and fast-food restaurants all nearby. However, communication with the receptionist was quite difficult. I stayed for four days, and when I called to request a shower gel refill and a bed sheet change, they only replaced the towels each time.
The bed sheets were quite old and had several stains. The air conditioning worked well, but the remote control didn’t seem to adjust the temperature properly. The shower had hot and cold water, but the temperature was inconsistent and difficult to balance. The room lighting was also too dim. The Wi-Fi was generally fast, but it wasn’t very reliable, as there were times when the connection became unstable.
Overall, I still had a good experience, and I think the hotel offers good value for the money."

"My stay at City Suites Taoyuan Station was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, and the twin room had enough space with comfortable beds. The location is very convenient to Taoyuan Station, and it's easy to find places to eat and catch transportation nearby. The staff were friendly and check-in and check-out were smooth. The overall environment was quiet, and the facilities met my needs. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taoyuan."

"Overall, the ambiance and feel were very good. The breakfast buffet layout could use a slight adjustment. Currently, the flow for getting food often leads to people bumping into each other and bottlenecks. I personally think it would be great if the restaurant was fully open. Both my three-day stay this time and my previous visit saw the main dining area completely full before the other section was opened, leading to a crowded main area and chaotic, unorganized food retrieval. Just my personal thoughts and humble opinion. Thank you."

"The location is really convenient, with easy access to Ximen Station and Ximending. However, my stay was not as comfortable as I had hoped. There was some refurbishment going on, and I could also hear quite a lot of noise from the room next door. The bed was clean but the pillows were very flat and looked quite old, with some yellowing. One of the bath towels had a hole in it. The mattress had sunk in the middle, so I did not sleep very well. The staff were also not particularly friendly, and some of them spoke quite abruptly. I understand that the hotel is very busy and has many guests, but overall, the experience was okay. To be fair, I chose the hotel mainly because of the price, so perhaps I should not have expected too much."

GGuest UserSimply perfect... The overall quality and comfort were outstanding. The dorm room was spacious and airy, featuring a full-length mirror and a long table with benches in the center for guests to place their belongings. My bunk felt very comfortable and hassle-free, perhaps because I was assigned a lower bunk, which made getting in and out easy. The upper bunks might be a bit more inconvenient. A great plus was that even the lower bunks were quite high, unlike some hostels where the beds are so low you feel like you're almost lying on the floor. The shower facilities were very comfortable, and they even provided hair oil. The common areas were also delightful, cozy, and beautifully designed with excellent分区. Upon check-in, they gave me a small Tainan travel guide. I read it thoroughly and found it incredibly charming and useful. The memory of relaxing on the beanbag in the common area, reading and taking notes that evening, is still so vivid. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tainan.

LLaladexiaopiqiuSuch a clean B&B! The owners are incredibly nice, and they offer breakfast with a choice of congee, sandwiches, and soy milk. The fried dough sticks are super crispy and delicious – worth waking up early for! The room has a fridge, which is great for keeping drinks. The only downside is that the fridge compressor sometimes makes a noise, but I'm a heavy sleeper, so I didn't hear it at all while sleeping. All the facilities are perfect. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

PPepibelleThis is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.

既既反炒This is a great onsen ryokan. The front desk service is excellent, and the room facilities are comprehensive. The hot spring water is sufficiently hot, very hygienic, and clean. I definitely recommend coming again.
Also, be sure to book breakfast in advance, otherwise, you won't get any.

1. The hotel is central to zhong market, miyahara, sunshine outlet and other famous restaurants in Taichung.
2. Very clean room, nice bed and pillows. The housekeeper cleans the room everyday.
3. It has a smart toilet with bidet, shower, and smart tv. They give free shampoo, conditioner, and handwash.
4. They have a dyson hair dryer.
5. The bed and pillows are soft and gave us a good night sleep
Cons:
1. The toilet is smelly despite being cleaned everyday.
2. Only 2 hangers are available and it wasn’t enough for us
3. There was an ongoing construction outside and it was noisy during daytime
4. You could hear some little noises from people outside or from people in another room but tolerable
5. Small room but big toilet area

GGuest UserThe room is very beautiful, facing the sea, the terrace is very comfortable. The room facilities are very new, very design, the details are very intimate, the shampoo and hair dryer are very advanced. The breakfast is delicious, the tableware is beautiful, and there are cute dogs. The owner is very good, because Hualien does not have Uber, the owner helped us pay the taxi, and sent us Hualien specialty snacks before leaving. It was a particularly warm experience. I hope to come back next time.

AAlan & Rendy WongWe booked two rooms, one large family room and one couple room. The prior one is spacious, very well designed and it even has an amazing sauna room which was a nice touch to the stay. The kids had loads of fun and laughter. The beds are huge so it can easily fit 4 and maybe even 5 for younger kids. The later is a bit worn down with wallpaper coming off, stains around the tub and just an overall worn down feel to it. So if you can afford a few hundred NT$ more, I would suggest staying at the bigger room to enjoy a good full stay. Breakfast is delicious 😋
