"Whatever reservations about how the place is eerie, or overcrowded, or strange varnish smells, are all out the window when we arrived. We were gobsmacked from the scale, wonderful amenities, photo opportunities from the matryoshka hotel. The 2 bedroom was big and spacious, supremely comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with much variety. And we appreciate the proximity to the scenic area. A great experience and good value for money. A map of the hotel with its location within the scenic area would have been perfect. Feel a bit lost within the scale of the project."

"Our stay at this hotel was just okay—not excellent, but acceptable for a budget hotel. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Hohhot and don’t have very high expectations, this hotel can be an option. One of the staff members was not very friendly toward foreign guests. We simply requested a chopstick to stir our coffee in the room, but unfortunately, our request was declined. It was a small thing, but the experience could have been handled more warmly. Pros: * Very close to the metro/subway station * Convenient location near Hohhot Railway Station * Plenty of affordable restaurants nearby * Budget-friendly Cons: * The carpet on the floor was visibly dirty * The hotel is quite old and could use some updating * Service could be more welcoming, especially toward foreign guests Overall, our stay was just good enough for a short budget stay, mainly because of the convenient location and affordable price. However, if you are particular or sensitive about cleanliness, I would recommend looking for another hotel."

"This hotel was a great choice for our family trip, and we were very satisfied overall. The room was spacious enough for our child to move around comfortably, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We really appreciated the thoughtful, kid-friendly touches, and the bedding was so comfortable that we slept wonderfully. "This might indeed be the newest and best accommodation around, and the price definitely reflects that. However, there's no denying that the smart devices are frankly quite difficult to use. Voice commands often don't work even after multiple attempts. The smart toilets in both rooms require manual flushing; they don't auto-flush after you stand up. The most concerning issue was the pungent smell of renovation in the room. Anyone knowledgeable knows that formaldehyde is colorless and odorless, so I'm not sure if the lingering smell was paint fumes (or benzene, toluene-like substances) or other volatile harmful gases. When I wiped down the blue cabinets with a wet wipe upon check-in, blue stains appeared immediately – possibly due to fading or peeling paint. If you prioritize your health, I'd strongly advise you to reconsider! This is my honest and genuine review. The dining quality was decent, leaning towards above average, with three restaurants available. The BBQ we ordered on the first day was exceptionally good, and the 'ice-cooked lamb' was also tasty. However, the meal on the second day on the second floor was disappointing. We specifically requested no spice, yet every skewer was covered in chili. The waiter seemed clueless and had to re-grill and serve a new batch, but the taste was completely different from the first time. The standout feature was the deep sleep memory foam pillow – it was excellent. Several family members commented on how comfortable it was, even more so than pillows provided in some large hotels in big cities. You can watch fireworks from the second and third floors, which adds a lovely touch."
