It is not a 5 star hotel. Since January it is a 4 star hotel. But for this service I would only give 3 stars. First the room was too small, tiny. There was no room to put my suitcase on the floor. The furniture was old, scratched and some corners were broken. The sliding door of the closet didn't work. We had no shower gel. Everything was cheap. Tubes of shampoo, conditioner and etc. - only 1 for 2 people. I had to ask for them to give me more. Breakfast was more than modest. Not a big selection. There is only one person at reception during the day. No more staff. I had to carry my heavy suitcase up 6 or 7 steps to the elevator myself. There is nothing in the hotel - no sauna, swimming pool etc. The restaurant was only for breakfast. No free airport transfer.
Only plus - proximity to the old town.

- The hotel is uniquely located in the old town in the city center, next to the main square and the Christmas market. Very convenient; 🏠 - The facilities are in classic style, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the decoration is classic. The room with large bathtub and city view is spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool downstairs is small but exquisite and cute. The sauna and steam bath are excellent. This is the highlight of the hotel; it is worth recommending! 👍🤠

The price of the hotel is affordable and the location is very good. Taxis from the airport are not expensive. In the old city, there are scenic spots at the door. You can walk to most scenic spots. You can also buy 24-hour bus tickets. The breakfast is very delicious and rich!

The surrounding environment is quiet. The hotel is not far from the urban area. On the way back to the hotel from the ferry pier, I went to the old city wall of Sweden, which took about 40 minutes. The breakfast is very rich. This hotel is worth living in again.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible.
The hotel also features a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles and the coffee and tea selection in the rooms. Hotel rooms are comfortable. Additionally, there's a small area near the reception where you can get free water, snacks, and fruits, which is a nice gesture not commonly found in other hotels. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they offer a free luggage room.
The staff was really helpful throughout my stay. However, the room service was disappointing; the cleaner didn’t spend enough time cleaning the room or bathroom properly. On a positive note, we tried the spa, which is excellent. If you buy a coupon at the hotel reception, it costs €10, compared to €25 at the spa counter. The spa features a nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel and would recommend it.

Stayed here with the husband and two kids (4 and 8) for just a night as we were hotel hopping in Tallinn. I'd recommend this hotel for families. The access to the waterpark and buffet breakfast comes with the hotel room.
Andy in the reception is incredibly helpful. They speak several languages. To us, English and Finnish works. I booked two rooms and got a chance to upgrade to two rooms with a connecting door fornonly €20 which is great for families with children.
Note that they also have sauna, a spa with massage and beauty treatments, a playroom for children (free), on top of their waterpark. They gave my kids a free drawing pad/coloring book and coloring materials.
The breakfast is great with a good selection of food for different diets. If you have allergy and diet restrictions, there surely is an option for you.
It's a 5-10 minute walk from the cruise terminal. And a neighbor to a good selection of restaurants and the Tallinn Old Town. It's a stone's throw away from museums and the public transport.
The only thing we noticed was during breakfast, the service team (waitresses, perhaps) don't smile at all. Felt a bit unwelcome there but not a big deal to us who stayed only a night. Maybe I am used to the common hospitality industry smiles especially for a 4-star hotwl but maybe it's normal in this culture - I'm not sure.
Overall, I'd still recommend this for families. The kids will love this place. There's a special place for them in the hotel.
The historical first skyscraper in Estonia offers breathtaking views over Tallinn Bay and the UNESCO protected Old Town right next to it. Viru hotel has always been the vibrant city hotel where history meets present. Our relaxed and friendly service makes our guests return over and over again. A wide range of different rooms - restaurants - entertainment and recreation services. A large conference and banquet centre. Direct access to Viru shopping centre and an interesting KGB Museum - all under one roof.

Great location just by the old city, underground connection to shopping mall with good grocery store. Variety of products for breakfast, well equipped gym, KGB themed guide tour was very interesting though a bit too pricy. Unfortunately, the fridge in the room almost didn't cool.

Outstanding
GGuest UserLate arrival by bus and chose to stay here because the proximity to the bus station. A good Ibis hotel as all expectations for a Ibis hotel met - cleanliness and cozy. Even better, this is the most spacious ibis hotel I have ever stayed.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location in the old town so it’s very convenient and the design around the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms have antique furnishings. Maria is extremely helpful and polite when I checked in late after 5pm. Do note that there’s no kettle in the room but a shared kitchen at level 2, sadly when I wanted to use it, the kettle might have been taken by other guests. Will be great if each room can have a kettle or if there is a main water dispenser. The toilet seat is not securely fastened so be careful. The water in the bathroom can easy splash out as it’s a curtain shower for the standing shower. Room slippers, fragrant shower, shampoo, hair conditioner and shower caps are provided.
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice and 5 stars level,
the room I booked is excellent and the viw is good too. A little walking distance to sightseeing place , very worty about cp value and I recommend this hotel to you all,
GGuest UserThe hotel is newly renovated, clean and tidy, the front desk is friendly and the breakfast is rich. From the perspective of environmental protection, the hotel does not provide disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers, but provides a large bottle of free mineral water. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the airport. There is a large shopping mall across the road next to it, which has everything to eat, drink and play, and a large supermarket. There is a bus stop on the side of the road at the door. You can take bus No. 2 to the old town of Tallinn. You can swipe your credit card directly on the bus, 0.9 euros.
WWongVery old castle appearance but the service staff and environment inside are also very beautiful, the front desk staff has a good smile, there are many types of breakfast, the room has a large balcony enough for the four of us to dance on it! Very good experience.
AAnonymous UserBreakfast was satisfactory but we would appreciate some menu changes at different days.
Our room view was good.
Staff was efficient, supportive and friendly.
Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and drug stores around the hotel.
Yet, some areas for their top management to consider:
1. cups and kettle may be provided for every room, and
2. the extra fee for using spa and sauna was 15 Euros per head which we think may be too high for non European travelers, and
3. Gym was charged 5 Euros per head may also be waived, just like most hotels would do in other big cities.
CChenweixiongThe Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel is a well-known hotel located in Tallinn, Estonia. It is part of the Tallink Group, which is a leading provider of passenger transport and tourism services in the Baltic Sea region.
The hotel is designed to offer a combination of comfortable accommodations, conference facilities, and spa services. It features a variety of room types, ranging from standard rooms to spacious suites, all equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its spa facilities, which include saunas, pools, relaxation areas, and a wide range of wellness treatments and massages. Guests can indulge in a rejuvenating spa experience during their stay.
GGuest UserIt was very close to the Old Town of Tallinn, which was nice.
The only amenities provided were bath towels and body towels. There were no toothbrushes or tissues. The front desk and the accommodation building were separate, so it was very confusing since I arrived late at night.
MMikeJMJonesThis is a typical 3.5 star European hotel. It is in an excellent location in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town, has comfortable but typically-smallish double rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and warm ac. I would recommend it to couples. However, we would not stay here again. Even though we booked and were fully paid more than 2 months before the hotel stay, we were told on our arrival that our room had been, ”double booked”. We were dispatched to a room with smaller than single beds positioned end to end in a room that resembled a school camp facility. When I suggested that this was unsatisfactory, the front desk person stated in front of other guests, ”That's too bad”. After walking the old town and returning, the manager had placed us in a better room for one night and we then had our pre-booked room for the next three nights. Additionally, the lift does not extend to the 4th floor so it was a struggle carrying large suitcases up stairs and across other uneven floors. Finally at check out, the receptionist insisted that our original payment was rejected by ”their system” so I had to pay again. She withdrew the allegation after I showed her a stamped receipt. She then retorted, ”must have been a system error”. In my opinion, two different staff members could benefit from some serious service-industry professional development. However, other staff were very friendly and helpful; it was a very central location; and the breakfasts were delicious.
NnidriksVilla Kadriorg is a budget friendly hostel/hotel that is on a direct bus route to the old town. If not for major upgrade works to the tram network then I believe it would also be on the tram line.
I found my room comfy enough, if a little warm. It was a very warm few days in Tallinn though. Sadly, my room was right above a bar playing music until past 10pm. If you needed an early night to catch transport then that might be a problem.
There's free WiFi and a small shared kitchen. The shared showers were a little grubby, but I suspect that is to be expected. There was also a bit of noise from some of the younger guests after 10.
Sounds like I had a miserable stay but that is not so. Just be aware that the price will attract youngsters.
I'd say that Villa Kadriorg is good value for money and a fine place to rest a weary head after a long day walking around beautiful Tallinn.
