Great location and the hotel provided us with the use of their business center, with light snacks and drinks daily. Hotel staffs are friendly and concierge service was superb in advising places to visit. Would love to stay there again if I ever go back to Tel-Aviv. Missing the city already!

The 2300 hotel is similar to the domestic Samsung, with small rooms and poor facilities. Because it was a Marriott member, it was upgraded afterwards, but the area is the same and it is slightly renovated. There is a lounge upstairs, which is more confusing, and eats almost the same type as breakfast. Downstairs public beach. There are many restaurants and bars left and right from the hotel. Take a taxi to the station and Jaffa about 100 Shekels. Go to the airport 140 Xie Keer, come back from Jordan decisively choose to live in a bed and breakfast

Located on Tel Aviv Beach, the hotel has a sea view and a balcony with views. The room is small, the facilities are OK, the breakfast is not bad. The Sabbath buffet dinner is more expensive, and the monks are 300 shekels. The front desk staff is very friendly, but the work efficiency is low.

Lets start with the good. Great location and clean, breakfast was very good. I lived in Israel for over thirty year so I am aware of the Israeli version of ”service”. That being said. We made a reservation at the sister property Leonardo beach hotel, with a sea view room. That hotel was then closed (COVID?) so we were switched to a ”comparable” sea view room at the Leonardo Art hotel for the same price. When were arrived we were informed that sea view rooms were reserved for suites only and that we received an ”upgraded” room- well, this room was a small, dingy, hovel. The price we paid for this hovel of a room was therefore outrageous. The desk staff were surly and when I asked a question she pointed to a handout and said ”its all on the sheet”. Another front desk girl was using an old handkerchief to repeatedly blow and wipe her nose while touching the phone, patrons keys etc... so much for hand hygiene during pandemic. How about a stairwell from the 3rd to 2nd floor barricaded closed by mattresses? Firetrap? (see photo) The safe in our room was obviously broken and eviscerated (see photo) Lastly there is very little signage to be able to find wither the back or front entrance to the hotel and the entrance smells like an open sewer. Just sayin... there are many better options on the Tel Aviv beach. We certainly will take advantage of them on our next visit.

The Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv was decades ago a nice hotel. Since then, it became neglected. The executive suite looks dark, the furniture and carpet would need a complete makeover. The access to and the pool area itself don’t look inviting at all. Those resemble more common areas of a 3 Star hotel. Views towards the ocean are nice, the location is absolutely the best, however the rest not so much. Out of necessity of creating revenue, the hotel works also with large local groups (the cheapos!). Encountering them at breakfast was a nightmare since those low class individuals think that they are at a State fair and they absolutely have no consideration for other guests of the hotel. Every single one of them was loud and obnoxious. No manners. Unfortunately at the current stage I can’t recommend this property, let alone the Dan being considered part of the LHW group.

The room was in a great location, just three blocks from the beach and in the heart of the Dizengoff area, which contains a ton of cute cafes and wine bars and shops! The room was also so much larger than expected, clean and spacious, with a little desk provided, and it had a useful kitchenette as well. The property manager was easy to arrange check in and check out with and they were kind enough to provide late check out so we could stay until we left for the airport. Would absolutely stay here again!

A lovely little hotel located next to the Tel Aviv boardwalk - a lovely lively location full of life day and most of the night. People walking, running, bicycling, exercising, dancing on the boardwalk and on the white sand beach running along it for miles. The rooms are well maintained, very clean, the service is friendly, there is a corner with an espresso machine and fruit available all day long. We very much enjoyed our stay.

1. It is very convenient to come from the airport or train station. Tel Aviv has three railway stations, and the nearest railway station to the hotel is Tel Aviv Ha'Hagana Station. After getting out of the station, take a bus across the road, four stops and walk for three minutes. Of course, you can also take the bus 445 directly from the airport, but there is only one bus at one stop. It takes about 10 minutes by train from the airport to Tel Aviv Ha'Hagana Station. 2. It is about 25 minutes walk from the hotel to Jaffa Old City, about 20 minutes by the sea, and 15 minutes from Neve Tzedek community (there are many cafes, restaurants and galleries). We go in winter, if you want to enjoy the beach, it is best to choose a hotel by the sea. Mainly concentrated on the beach a little north. There are many buses around to reach all the attractions. 3. The room is small and the club room we booked is not large. But you can see beautiful sea and city views, and the sunset is beautiful. The Club Room has access to the Executive Lounge, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, and offers light drinks throughout the day. The room does not provide toothbrushes, electric kettles, toiletries are L'Occitane, and the taste is very good. 4. Breakfast is provided in the hotel's bar, so many seats are not very comfortable and richer than our hotel in Jerusalem, but the variety should be complete. All in all, it is a qualified comfortable hotel, such as the domestic all season Atour, not a star hotel.

We enjoyed a great week at the Elkonin, the staff could not do enough for us. Our room was beautiful but a little small and we were quickly shown a choice of two other rooms. The bedrooms are beautifully apointed and some have charming terraces looking out onto Lilenblum St (no sound at all from the road when the balcony doors were closed). The breakfast was held in an attractive large room on the ground floor. There was some outside space but it wasn't as nice an area as the breakfast room. The breakfast was a fabulous Israeli breakfast, served individually not buffet. We enjoyed working our way through the menu! There was a huge stylish bar but we never got to drink there because we were too busy exploring the city's nighlife. At the top of the hotel is a wonderful roof terrace with pool and the most amazing view across the city to the sea. We spent quite a few hours relaxing by the small but perfect pool. The hotel is on the site of an old house owned by the Konin family. It has been wonderfully restored and offers a tranquil place right in the heart of Lillenblum and Rothschild. We would definitely return!

JJ SRecently discovered and now stayed for the 2nd time: A hidden jewel in a mega top location; cozy and very charming boutique hotel and cute decorated small but refined rooms and bathroom with spacious balcony overlooking the bustling Dizengoff square (with a huge choice of hip coffee places, restaurants and shops); soundproof (balcony) doors; very clean ; equipped with Nespresso machine, daily biscuits and bonbons -stocked minibar with (free) soft drinks. And a welcome bottle of wine. Great and extensive breakfast buffet and happy hour every afternoon on the roof terrace with delicious snacks ; Free bicycles and yoga offered; my thanks go to Kobi and his very professional and cordial team: Hamudi, Judith , Diana, Rosalyn, Awi, Vadym : and all others, as well as to the cleaning team!! their top service definitely contributed to my wonderful and carefree stay. No 5star hotel in Tel Aviv can compete with their amazing high quality of service! This hotel is from now on absolutely my home away from home!

GGuest Userconsidering that tel aviv is VERY expensive, don't expect motel-6. having said that, yes, the prices are better than reasonable, the rooms are clean and adequate, the staff is without doubt the highlight. brilliant location (check out the dimsum around the corner) - a no-frils place to set your head down after a day in israel's metropolis.

RRichardBelgiumIt is totally impossible to park your rental car in the surrounding streets. There is a rental parking some 10 minutes walking away though. The hotel is on a busy street and the windows are not isolating so even if the room is not giving to Dizengoff Avenue it will be a trial to sleep through the night, even with earplugs, at least that was the case for us. The hotel is really easy going with a happy hour with local red wines which really brings people together: we had a nice chat with Brazil, US and Israeli guests. The free coffee is delicious and you can get good pastries from the mini market across the street and eat them while reading your free NYT on the hotel terrace ! Marvelous. The easygoingness also shows in the way the rooms are kept, which is a bit on the brink but still ok. The hotel’s location is fantastic, you can reach pretty much every place in Central TA walking. No breakfast room but you get a voucher for some of the cool places in the neighborhood. We had ours in Sidewalk and recommend that.

CCIAIThere is no toothbrush in the room. I called and said that the hotel toothbrush was used up tomorrow. I was really speechless. At any rate, a four-star hotel didn’t even have a toothbrush. What’s more speechless was that I had an important meeting early in the morning on the last day. Check out at 6:30, not to mention that I called the morning service the night before, and no one called at 6 in the morning. I went to the front desk at 6:30 and no one checked out. The security said he didn’t get up and asked me to wait until 8 o’clock. In the end, I was the only one who returned to handle the deposit refund after the meeting, so I didn’t get on the last bus to return to Jerusalem on Friday Sabbath. The location is good, close to the sea and the bus station but the hotel is hidden in a dilapidated building, the room facilities are OK, the balcony is booked to see the sea, the bath water is also very good, but to be honest, the service and software facilities are really good It’s not worth the price and the four-star title. It’s better to add some money to stay in the five-star hotel Dan next door or simply stay in Abraham at least cheap and you can make many friends. In short, spending a few thousand dollars to stay in this hotel is not enough. Also delayed

The PA and I arrived at this hotel very late in the evening and check in was an absolute breeze. Little did we know we were for an interesting few nights. After the debacle of the PA writing off my wardrobe in Glasgow, I insisted he unpack my bags before he was allowed to go anywhere near the bed; quite the task given it’s a 15 piece matching set of Louis Vuitton luggage. After switching off the lights the room was still as bright as the Blackpool illuminations, no way I was going to be able to sleep in that so I got the PA to place his body and clothing to block all disturbances. This worked perfectly until the inconsiderate workmen in the street decided to begin work, it must have been 3am; they seemed to have opened up a sewer as the stench was absolutely overwhelming, I was close to vomiting. The bed was a double made up of two single beds, as a result this meant I’d have to share with the PA; this resulted in a fake 90/10 split of the bed space. To be fair once you get used to the smell of sewage, the bright lights and the sound of workmen drilling the actual sleep quality is perfect. The following evening I noticed the workmen started even earlier and given the sound of commotion they seemed to be having issues; feeling helpful I offered them the PA’s assistance so he spent a night shift with them. This meant he was incredibly tired for our tour to Bethlehem. A major plus for this hotel is the access to demitasse making facilities in the antechamber, a lot of people seemed to be struggling to use it so I can only assume their PA’s were also catching up on sleep after doing a night shift with the workmen. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back next time I’m in Israel, the only thing that would take the hotel to a different level is installing an natatorium.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a great location beach area. The hotel isn’t new but it’s decent and the staff is great. I feel comfortable and safe in this hotel. I will definitely come back again. Everything is at walking distance. However, if you are high maintenance, this hotel isn’t for you. This is a very comfortable and low-key hotel. It really is good.

GGuest UserWe arrived in the evening and self-checked in as no staff are available after 5pm. We found this easy to do. The room has a fan and air conditioning, with the latter appearing dated but functional. Both were controlled by the same unit which wasn't easy to understand, but we managed to have both on, which was needed, as the room was very hot without it. When we first arrived, we both had a shower. Unfortunately, a clump of hair was clearly visible in the plug, which I had to remove myself. I did bring this to the attention of staff the following day, and was advised this would be looked into it, but never received any further feedback regarding this. The shower consisted of a fixed waterfall head and another flexible corded one. The waterfall shower was weak, so we used the corded one, which was better, however, this was positioned at waist height on the wall, so had to be held whilst washing, which wasn't ideal. One of the pillows appeared to have signs of mould on it, that had been washed, but signs of it remained. I also advised staff about this, and was again advised it would be looked into, but the pillow we had put to one side just got returned to the bed each time the room was checked. There was a fridge in the room, which we were really happy about, as it was hot outside, and this meant we could cool water for use in the night. However, it became evident that the fridge didn't work properly and only cooled items left in it for a prolonged period. Water we had in the fridge still wasn't cold after two days. I was advised a cleaner did not come into the room every day, which was fine, however, we noticed that an old receipt which we found when we pulled back the curtain remained until we put it in the bin ourselves. There is a cafe attached to the hotel which served a sandwich or pastry along with a hot drink as part of the included breakfast. We found this to be adequate for the day ahead, with a bag being provided in advance for those days we set off early. On Saturdays, the cafe is closed and a voucher is given for alternative cafes nearby, the one we went to provided a plentiful breakfast, more than we'd ever had in the hotel cafe. We are unsure if we would have ever received this voucher however without querying the arrangements for that day. The hotel location is very good for a short walk to the beach, a good sized supermarket, bus stop, and local bars and restaurants. I would strongly advise against having room 320, as this room also had no outside space, and didn't seem well maintained or cleaned.
